Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Chef Emeril Lagasse gives his original Las Vegas restaurant his signature 'Bam!' with a menu of market fresh fish, shellfish, steaks and his "New New Orleans" twist on Louisiana's Creole cooking. A wine list that received Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" and one of the Strip's best Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour menus makes sure that here you'll always "Let the Good Times Roll."
Dinner was okay, but nothing special, the service was really good. For the $, unlikely I’d choose them again
Very good lunch. I had the lobster roll - delicious! - on toasted brioche. My son had the jambalaya and frites. He said it had a nice kick but not too spicy. It was a very big side portion. Fries were good. My husband had the trout and he raved about it. Good value and really great service. We recommend Emeril's.
This was my seventh visit to Emeril's Fish house, I come every time I'm in Vegas because it had been a favorite. This time was a huge disappointment. Everything has changed. Gone is the fine dining, great food and fantastic service. It now is low quality, fast tracked slop on a plate. Ambiance is non-existent, it's dated and feels like a diner. I'm still a huge Emeril fan, but was let down. I'm so sad to say I will not be going back.
We go to Emeril’s every year when visiting Vegas and it never disappoints. The gumbo is amazing and is a must do. BBQ shrimp was excellent. And whatever you do, save room for the banana cream pie dessert.
First time at a restaurant owned by Emeril. Absolutely loved it!
Service was terrible, we had our drinks and ended up leaving. We arrived to the restuarant and there was maybe 5 table of people, so it wasn't busy, we ordered our drinks and they took about 15 min to bring 3 drinks, and 10 mins after receiving our drinks the waiter said he'll be back to get our order...... 15 mins later drinks are done and still had not order.... decided to leave at that point, when the waiter seen us positioning ourself to leave he all of a sudden wants to take our order. I was born and raised in New Orleans and was looking forward to dinner there with my son on his 21st birthday, i did not enjoy it.
In all fairness I think the place was not at the top of its game the night that we were there. The Bocelli concert and NFR were that night and it was pretty crazy. Still, the GM made sure to seat us at a nice table away from the the Casino area. Service was slow but it was friendly and that made up for any glitches.
I am used to spicy and rich dishes here but the Braised Pork Shoulder with Brussels Sprouts and apples was anything but. It was good, but not great. The deviled potatoes were a real surprise, a deconstructed classic caviar without the blinis. They were delicious but large enough to be shared. We finished with the Pecan Pie which was perfect!
The only problem was that we were charged $5 more each a glass for a wine we didn’t order and that we had the prefix menu. The dessert I wanted wasn’t available and the waiter suggested a different choice and when we got the bill it was $3 more because in the fine print it said so, but when I ordered it, I ordered it through the waiter, not from the menu. Had I known I would not have chosen it. In both cases, customer needs to know upfront what it will cost beforehand, otherwise it feels like you’re being duped.
Trout was outstanding! Banana Cream pie was FABULOUS!!!!
My wife and I had the special three course meal with wine pairing. My wife had the trout which she enjoyed. I had the short ribs which was over cooked and could have used extra gravy. The other courses were fine as was the wines.
I would call this one a mixed bag. I was with a party of six and we shared bites of everything. My dad had the red fish and it was fabulous. My husband had the trout and it was under seasoned and the portion was so small. I had the short rib and it was over cooked. The flavor was good but the meat it was a bit dry. Our server was nice enough but may have had too many tables to cover.
A great dinner experience! We had the Pecan crusted red fish which literally melts in your mouth.
The service was tremendous. Ivan was the lead waiter and both he and his two assistants were very attentive. Ivan is very knowledgeable and friendly.
This our 3rd or 4th time eating here and it's been excellent each time.
It did not appear to be a busy night other than a single large party dining with them. My dinner reservation was for business and we only had five guests. I arrived at my table on time but my guests arrived about 15 min late. 10 to 15 minutes after my guests arrived I had to leave the table to chase down our waiter to ask him to take their drink orders. Our waiter never shared what the specials were for the evening or stopped by for appetizer order. Again I had to flag him down to get him to come to our table. Food was good but was not hot. I love Emeril’s. But this Emeril’s restaurant could benefit from observing their wait staff and offering additional service training.
Great service! Trout was excellent and so was the cornbread and Banana Cream pie!
We went as a Party of 7 celebrating my husbands birthday. The staff was EXCELLENT!! Very service oriented. The menu has something for everyone’s tastebuds. I will definitely recommend this place as a Vegas go to!
We got the seafood tower plenty of great food for 2 people prob could feed 3. Huge lobster tail, lots of king crab, jumbo shrimp, and tuna also came with a dozen oysters. We requested the oysters and lobster tail cooked and they did for us. Great food!!
Food and service were both excellent. Our waiter Bj gave us great assistance on what to have for dinner. We both loved what he recommended.
Ambience was great! We enjoyed a surprise birthday dinner and desert for our Mom and stepdad. They were completely shocked when the cake was presented. The server and front desk lady set it all up earlier in the day when we went to the restaurant with the cake. They allowed us to store it with the birthday present until dinner was over. They enjoyed their time, food, and dessert. To top it all off, inside of the gift bag were 2 show tickets to see ZA.
Tried the frog legs and they were delicious !! The crab cakes were real lump crab which is great but overall they lacked in flavour . I was expecting big flavours and it didn't deliver . I was somewhat disappointed . The service was fantastic !
We went here for Thanksgiving dinner and boy did they supply, wonderful service and a plate of Turkey and Dressing that even had my Mother in awe. The plates were full, almost too much for one to eat, and the food was just what a hometown thanksgiving should be. Kudos to the crew there at Emeril's.
We were pleased with the food quality and the service. We'll be back.
Had the tasting menu and was satisfied with the selections. BBQ shrimp is a personal favorite, or should I say BBQ butter with shrimp. NY steak was tasty and right temp, not the best cut but still good. Banana cream pie is ridiculously big, could have been my entire meal. Not the best I have had but still pretty good.
Service was good, prices are LV average so all in a good dining experience.
We really enjoyed our meal, just wish there had been more fish options one the menu.
Server was attentive and the food was amazing!
The food was amazing. I will definitely be going back when I visit Las Vegas again.
Food was really good. But even better is the service. Our son has a severe nut allergy and the staff/servers were so great about making sure about communicating and confirming all the details about food preparation so we felt comfortable and could really enjoy the food.
Went there for my fiance's birthday, she ordered a meal that she didn't enjoy and when Zac the waiter came by saw her plate, he asked did she not like it, she said she wasn't too fond of it, he immediately said he was taking it off the bill, no questions asked and offered her something else. Gave her a birthday sorbet and we just sat there for a bit and enjoyed the ambiance. Great place to eat!!
The entire experience was a 10/10. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We will definitely come back when visiting Las Vegas.
Great server-Michael made the evening.
My husband and I are occasional visitors to Las Vegas. We enjoy the shows and the restaurants. Although Las Vegas has many good restaurants, we always end up at Emeril's restaurants because they are consistently excellent. On this trip we went to Emeril's New Orleans Fish House for dinner. The entree' I had was the rainbow trout. Normally, I don't like fish, but I've never been disappointed at this restaurant. The trout was prepared with spices, a delicious sauce topped with crab was creative and delicious. I enjoyed every bite. The lobster bisque is incredible, it is creamy, just enough spice, but not overpowering and the lobster was tender (melt in your mouth) and so very delicious. We had to return the following day for lunch where we were accommodated with entree's not typically on the lunch menu just by asking. The service from waiter to chef was exceptional. I must mention that the pear crisp with vanilla ice cream was worth the extra calories, yum! The atmosphere is relaxing, away from the crowds and noise allowing for a quiet, intimate and enjoyable dining experience. We have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed as we have been able to rely on a consistent and always an incredible culinary adventure. We'll be back, again!
Service was very good!! Love the 3 course menu!!!
Customized the menu brilliantly. Each of the six courses were amazing!
Broiled oysters cold. Pan friend trout tasteless, mushy and cold. Beet salad very good. Pecan pie fairly good. Bill $100 for one person. Wouldn’t go again. Live in Louisiana. Food was not even close to Emerils’ New Orleans restaurants.
My husband enjoyed the gumbo. He ate it 2X in one weekend! I had the chicken salad, which was ok. Would have preferred that the chicken is grilled and warm on the salad...Not many options on the menu, but if you do go, sit at the bar and have the chance to take advantage of the Happy Hour menu/specials. In my opinion, the restaurant needs more wait staff. Our food was delivered to the table and we did not see our waiter again until our plates were picked up by the table staff.
Everything was great, from the delicious food (bbq shrimp was fabulous) to the friendly, courteous and attentive wait staff.
Excellent decor and great food and service. Wonderful date night
Fantastic seafood with Emeril’s classic taste. Everything one could expect from this chef plus outstanding quality products. I had the pan seared tuna, done to perfection. Highly recommended for great seafood.
It was delicious! My first time in one of his restaurants.
Overpriced for the food and portions you get! The tast and flavor of the food was good
