Made a reservation several hours in advance for a group of seven and they were able to accommodate us and provide a table with plenty of privacy for our group. We had two couples that were celebrating their wedding anniversary and they provided a small dessert with a candle in it for both couples at no cost which was quite a pleasant surprise. The wait staff was wonderful and efficient and the food was delicious.
I went to this restaurant many years ago, when the decor was more austere. I really thought this was a different restaurant, it's so modern-looking. Gentle twangs of Cajun music harkened back to the flagship restaurant in New Orleans, which I visited last summer. I like the casual-but-hip feel better here.
When you dine in a certain stratosphere, you stop expecting free things. This made the complimentary (and perfectly moist) cornbread a nice surprise.
We started with the pulled pork mofongo, which was an explosion of salty goodness. The plantains had a quality like eggplant that I liked.
They were stingy with the shrimp in the shrimp po boy (only 8 on a massive roll). But the flavors were good, and the accompanying Cajun fries were excellent. The salmon was also flawlessly prepared on a tasty bed of quinoa slaw.
The fried chicken sandwich was over cooked, but the manager happily credited us the price of the sandwich.
We were full after the meal, but we got a complimentary banana cream pie that was layered with fresh banana slices. It was so decadent and yet so fresh. We ate the whole thing.
I wish it wasn't buried so deeply inside the MGM Grand maze.
We just went for dessert and drinks... as everyone says the famous banana cream pie IS in fact amazing 👍 the food we saw being served looked delicious, would definitely go back for a whole meal!
Our favorite location in Vegas. Salmon is excellent as usual and never miss saving room for the Banana Cream pie.
Good food and great service. The risotto is delicious.
The host/manager was very involved in all aspects. He seated us, made a special drink that was no longer on the menu, delivered food and cleaned tables. He was great!!
Great apps, drinks, steaks and side!!! Ribeye was juicy!!!
The food and presentation was amazing. They honored our reservation right on time.
Very disappointing meal. Service was poor as we had to ask the busboy to get the waiter to order a drink. Overpriced as well. Avoid it if you can. It wasn’t busy at 8 pm on a Friday night which should tell you something.
Great service, delicious food reasonably priced for the quality.
We arrived about an hour late due to a late plane arrival into Las Vegas but Emeril’s accepted our apology and get us a great table.
The food was very expensive for what you receive. The broiled oysters were just fair and not worth the money. The fish was not great as well. I would not recommend.
Decent food at a good price.
Always consistently delicious
Been here several times but the menu had changed. Our food was ok but not like it has been in the past. The wait staff were in regular clothes with aprons over their shirts not like white jackets before. We ordered the banana pie and the bananas were all brown. Very disappointed and will never go back. Sorry Emeri. Will also tell my friends and family about this experience. The price was outlandish for what we got.
Food was wonderful. Drinks were yummy. Restaurant was a little noisy but overall, fantastic! Need to try their crab cake, it was moist and creamy!
Very good dining experience. My wife and I attempt to dine here when we are in LV. On this occasion we were joined by our daughter and her husband. Quality of food & service were excellent as we have come to expect. Unfortunately, the climate control in the restaurant was an issue. Our server was quite accommodating and offered to change tables but we were in the middle of our meal. He attempted to adjust but said they did not have complete control over the temperature in the restaurant. I noticed later that the party next to us did move to another table. We will return to this establishment again as the overall dining experience is excellent. Recommendation: resolve climate control issue!!!
We ate here once before and food was good but the service was incredibly slow. This visit was much improved from the last. Food was delicious and there was no extensive waiting for each course. The grilled oysters were amazing! We will definitely go back.
We we were a bit early. The man at the greeting station was not really very friendly.
We told him we were early. I told him our name and mentioned we were repeat guests. By the way the pervious time we were here it was fabulous and I gave a rating of a 5.
No response nor did not greet me by my name.
The young lady who escorted was kind but very quiet.
Lisa our server was GREAT along with the support staff.
One thing I might mention, I think greeting customers and thanking them is key to a successful engagement.
As I said the greeter was not warm and we walked out the greeters DID NOT say bye nor thank you. I felt that I was greeted more kindly at Popeyes when I spent $5 not $500. Just saying?
Excellent food, superior service
We were looking for a seafood restaurant and decided to try the Emeril’s at MGM in The Vegas strip. The food was satisfactory, the ambiance a little dull, but overall a good experience.
Our dinner at Emeril's was very good. The Gumbo was a little spicy for my taste and it would have been helpful if the menu indicated very spicy dishes. The service staff was very attentive. The prices were a bit high for the meals.
We were seated right away. We had to waiters that were very attentive. The drinks were very good. The clam chowder was delicious. The short ribs were to die for.
Great Nawlins food in a modern decor. Terrific food reasonably priced and super wait staff.
We had a wonderful dinner - superb steak and lamb chops! Portions are good so be careful and don't over-order. We had a great jambalaya that we couldn't finish and didn't have a fridge in our room so couldn't enjoy it later.
The whole experience met my expectations and way beyond. Will eat there again when in Vegas. Thank you again for my most wonderful and quiet eve3ning meal.
My red fish was fabulous and my husbands lamb was he said the best! Don’t order creamed spinach. It was like they forgot the creamed part. Dry spinach blob. The grits with the redfish was wonderful.
The food was good and the service was attentive. I wasn’t really expecting the high charged atmosphere and the feeling of being in a restaurant chain. I was at the NOrlean’s restaurant and it was much more upscale.
But then again...LV fires on all cylinders so I should have known better what to expect. We had dinner here right before a concert so it was super convenient to the venue.
Food was fine, but ambiance was too cafereria-like for our taste, especially given the price.
