Emeril's Italian Table serves beloved, homemade Italian classics and adds a dash of the famous chef's zip and passion. Appetizer options include the crispy Point Judith calamari with herbs and lemoncello butter sauce, the tangy baked ricotta cheese with olive-raisin tapenade and the crunchy grilled bruschetta with tomato-basil pesto. Emeril's Italian Table's popular a la carte menu of cured meats and imported cheeses allows diners to create their own meal. House specialties include the lemon and white wine laden chicken piccata, the grilled Jail Island salmon with white bean-artichoke ragout and the hearty pasta Bolognese, as well as a vast selection of pizzas. The decadent treats at Emeril's Italian Table continue into the dessert course, where classic cannoli, New York style cheesecake topped with fresh berries and custardy crème brulee are all sensationally prepared.

I found the Italian Table in the Sands at Bethlehem very disappointing. First off the menu is very uninspiring and everyone at my table had trouble choosing an entree. The food itself tended to be on the dry side and no one was in love with their entree, if fact one of my party only finished half and didn't want to take the remainder home. I had also eaten recently at Emeril's fish house in the MGM grand in Vegas with a similar experience, highly priced moderate to poorly prepared food , very disappointing. There seems to be no quality control in Emeril restaurants and I will no longer visit them.

The wait time for entrees only was a bit extensive (~50 minutes).

For the price that we paid and the name of the restaurant, we expected quality food. We were disappointed with the service (she hardly came back to check on us) and the food was not up to our expectations.

Mediocre food at exhorbitant prices. Side dish of escarole with pancetta was so salty it was inedible. Waitress was apologetic and kind enough to comp us a dessert, so no complaints about service. Only plus for this restaurant is its convenience for the event center, which is why we ate there. Unlikely we will return. Emeril should partake of a meal there. Pretty sure he would be disappointed to say the least.

For an Emeril restaurant the food and ambiance were ok, but certainly no "Bam".The service was outstanding. I had the calamari appetizer which was greasy with the breading falling off. My wife then had a pizza which was ok and I had the Salmon, which was comparable to neighborhood Italian cuisine. Certainly fine for a post casino meal, but nothing creative, different or special.

Maybe my expectations were set too high but the food was good not great as would be expected from one of Emeril's places. The prices were a little high for the quality.

Ever since a bad experience with Emeril's Chophouse (and management dropping the ball- again), we have exclusively gone to Emeril's Italian table & St. James Gate anytime we go to the Sands in PA. Emeril's Italian table, is essentially high-style food without the `snob-appeal' prices. Food was amazing (although appetizer portion sizes have been drastically reduced). Their pizza is consistently flavorful and unlike and pizza that you'd get from any store/shop (and I mean this in a good way). The flavors meld wonderfully. Calamari was excellent, perfectly cooked, but quite small. Salads are out of this world, but my grilled chicken on top was grizzly and very dry, almost inedible. My wife had the Chicken Parm, and she thought it was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Although it was our anniversary, we did not order dessert ( the dessert menu is easily the restaurant's weakest link). Sadly, there were no specials that day. The worst part was the food preparation. It took forever to be made. We waited, and waited... and waited. The server was fantastic, although she messed up the bill and added pound cake for 28 dollars, grey goose drinks and another item for another 28 dollars. Initially, the bill was 146 dollars! Guess the P.O.S. system went on the fritz. Luckily, she fixed it. But I wonder, how many times this has happened that doesn't get `caught.' We were going to return the next day, (as we stayed over), but opted for St. James Gate, which has never disappointed. All in all, an average to good experience, which was a tad disappointing; since this place, we usually consider good to excellent.
