Everyone was absolutely amazing!
A beautiful restaurant for a special occasion or simply to treat yourself.
Every time we have cause to go to NOLA we make it there. Phenomenal- all aspects - service food everything.
Truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We went for a belated mother's day celebration. The service and food were impeccable. I'm looking forward to my next meal with them.
The waiter was VERY disrespectful to women at our table. He would only talk to the male guest and there was only one male and 5 females. His pushiness of upselling and attitude definitely put a major damper on our celebratory evening. Will not be coming back!
Fabulous menu options, ambiance and taste. Added bonus is a pianist on the main floor in bar area. We were a tad pit off by the waiter however who tried to up sell each course, and told us our wine choice was “poo wine”. Justin Cabernet Sauvignon...Hartley poo wine!
Steak was fatty and tough. Potato lyonnaise over cooked and burnt to a point it was like eating a potato chip. It was taken off bill. Had a 5pm reservation at opening. We were first people in and had to wait 15 min because they had a staff meetin. I have eaten in many of Emerils restaurants and usually excellent but this was really bad.
Reggie, Corey and Lee were amazing! The special was amazing. The service is on point!
The ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice, and the staff was very attentive, and accommodating. However, the food, the preparation in particular was disappointing. My Wife had the lamb, which was under-cooked, bland and a very poor cut. I had the filet, prepared au poivre. What I received was not au poivre, it was in fact steak madeira , in addition, the filet was severely overcooked. The dessert was as disappointing. My wife and I visit fine dining establishments regularly, this by far was the most disappointing.
It was the perfect Mother’s Day Day dinner. Food was exceptional and service was superb. Look forward to our next visit.
Hands down THE BEST service and dinner I have ever had everywhere! We live in Arizona, but will always return to Nola if nothing else, but to have a special meal at Emeril’s Delmonica!!
Excellent service, greeted at the door with a smile with a charismatic wait staff. You can tell instantly the cooking staff takes pride in the finished product
Service, food and room were great but someone thought it would be a good idea to play loud head banger Rock and Roll which in No Way was suitable for a Mother’s Day brunch. I can’t imagine what someone was thinking!
Food was excellent as always, however, the service was less than expected. Long wait once seated to see a waiter, had to ask multiple times for wait staff to return.
Couple of things; I thought the building was cute and cozy, we were seated within 10 mins of our arrival. The air was one very high, which made for a little uncomfortable seating as the air was blowing right above us and we were rather cold. Our food took over an hour, which I'm not sure if that was the case for everyone, as I saw others who came in after our group and rec'd their food much sooner than we did? When we finally complained to the Maitre d' he then made the effort to get our food when we were about ready to leave.... that is not good service at all. I completely understand some places aren't so laxed as in the south, but c'mon I was so hungry I could have just left and grab a bite across at the chicken place across the street much sooner than getting my meal. Aside from that, I think the servers try to do their best, given what placed upon them. This places unfortunately does NOT function like a 4 star restaurant and I would hope they did more to expect that type of rating.
Another example of very slow service. At the end, we had to ask for dessert menu but they did not come back. Ended up asking for the check and leaving. Food was ok but overpriced. Not a great dining experience that I expected. There are too many other New Orleans restaurants that are better to ever go back there.
Food was delicious! Service was exceptional! Could not have asked for a better date night!
The starters were delicious and inventive. The entrees tried and true. And the service from beginning to end was delightful! Everyone made our meal so much more enjoyable!
Very nice restaurant. Nice menu and options. Wine list was extensive. Service was good. I liked that most people were very well dressed for dinner. Bar was very small but had small tables to wait at and enjoy the piano player/singer.
Can't get better service. They have the pampering and wait service down pat! Such a gem in a town that is full of delicious places!
Crawfish appetizer was amazing with hot skillet cornbread! Flounder so so
A great meal experience that I highly recommend.
A great meal experience that I highly recommend
The food was not was should have been from a celebrity chef like Emeril. The restaurant needs some upgrade to the Devore and especially the upstairs carpet, we were promptly shoved upstairs like a red headed cousin not in the nicer dining room downstairs would not go there ever again and will never recommend this place
Excellent food, excellent service. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
The Bananas Foster!!!! Definitely stole the show! All good was great, service phenomenal! Live piano music and great comfortable seating.
I went for the food & ambiance. That was drown out by the never ending piano player. He was good but I really wanted to hear what my guests were saying.
LESS volume would have been a whole lot MORE for me.
Our first time in this beautiful location to celebrate my birthday and the food was great. We were early and sat in the bar area - asked the bartender if the happy hour menu extended to the dining area - she said yes - which was incorrect, yet we were amazingly accommodated by our fabulous server, John. Overall, a great experience!
Food was very good, lots of great choices and wasn’t disappointed by any of our selections. We had a large party and only downside was a discrepancy in the bill when we were overcharged twice on our wine selections. Had to send the bill back twice for correction. I would just say, check your final bill!
COREY AND HIS STAFF WERE EXCELLENT AND WE WERE A PARTY OF EIGHT. BEN THE BARTENDER WAS TERRIFIC. TWO LADIES SHARED A STEAK AND MENTIONED IT WAS FATTY.
Didn’t care for the R&B music while we were having a romantic dinner. Enjoyed the music downstairs with the piano
Delmonico was a bit of a disappointment. Ambiance and presentation were ok but food was well below average. My entree , whole baked mackerel, was ok but lacked the flair Emeril is known for. The creole reduction was the saving grace. My okra rice side was cold as was the bread pudding. Bread pudding consistency was also not great. It was pressed into very dense cakes and served with a small amount of berry compote. Would have been far better in course mix with fresh berry and compote.
The building itself is beautiful and the servers are excellent - they really know what they are doing and are wonderful in how they rotate in and out, never missing a beat. There were a couple of small details that seemed overlooked that surprised me, a couple of burned out lightbulbs in the fixtures; and we ordered flat water, and instead of coming in a decorative glass bottle it was left in a plastic Fiji water bottle sat down inside of a smaller copper container with the label showing. Small things, but they contribute to the overall ambiance of such a fine restaurant. There was quite a boisterous table of two couples, seemed to be well-known maybe (I have no idea who they were, but for some reason the Sommeliere was bending over backwards to please them and get their approval) set in the middle of the room that were really being fawned over, and it was a shared annoyance to those setting around them with our shared looks. May want to note in the future that if you're confronted with that situation and you feel the need to step it up for one annoying table, you have to step it up for all of the other paying customers who are watching as well.
Food was outstanding, been coming to New Orleans for 23 years and like to try restaurants I haven’t been to - I would definitely go back again!
The rude manager literally ruined our dinner. We will not be returning.
They seem to believe that steaks should be steeped in soy sauce.
Very nice table in the downstairs parlor. Could hear the bar piano but not so loud to be annoying.
Excellent food and attentive service. Tableside bananas foster is a delight, especially with a 10 yr old Madeira!
The dinner was the best I can ever remember having in New Orleans - and I've been going there since I was a student at Tulane 40 years ago. I had heard that Delmonico was the best of the New Orleans Emeri's restaurants, and it's true. I've already told 10 people that it's a must.
Food ok, wine and food expensive, service excellent
Delmonico came from a friend's referral and it was right on point. A wonderful restaurant with excellent service. The appetizers (the smoked salmon ravioli was great!), entrees and desserts were all outstanding. We ordered several different desserts and the proportions were more than enough to share with a table of six.
Everything fabulous and the service was “over the top”. Room a bit too noisy.
