I’ve always wanted to try an restaurant by Emeril and this place did not disappoint. We started with some drinks at the bar listening to a fantastic piano player. You must try the boudin balls and the gumbo!! Delicious! We both got fish dishes which were great! And do not forget to try the bananas foster!! Also the staff is great, very friendly and attentive. Overall an awesome dinner!

Disappointing. The restaurant is nice enough but too casual for fine dining, more a tourist in t-shirts crowd, and the player piano tinkled tunelessly in the back ground. The red sangria is flavorless, like red wine watered down with club soda and a few berries passing for fruit. The New York strip was good and cooked right, but no $40 cut of meat. The drum and everything else on the plate had been drowned in gravy so that it was all that could be tasted. The potatoes lyonnaise were overpowered by caramelized but overly strong onions so the whole dish just tasted of onion. And the key lime ice box pie was still partially frozen when served. None of it was worth the effort and certainly not the price.

Average. This place is just not consistent. One day it is fantastic, the next day it is average or below. Did not live up to Mother’s Day expectations.

Outstanding food and drink. Emeril always knows how to add that special touch to elevate a dish to the unique and delicious . The wait staff are well trained and and the service is cordial and welcoming. The only indecorous note was the front reception staff dressed in bare midriff revealing clothing that seemed somewhat inappropriate for such a fine dinning establishment so elegantly crafted.

our waiter was rude, We asked questions on the menu, he talked to us like we were idiots and that he didn't have time to talk to us. Didn't even tell us if there was any specials or anything. I hate it because that is where me and my wife celebrate our anniversary past couple of years. I did ask for a menu for a souvenir and they did give me one. We won't be going back.

We came to New Orleans for a long weekend getaway from Kentucky and wanted to try an Emeril restaurant. We enjoyed our time at the bar, but then found dinner to be disappointing. Both my husband and I ordered the bone-in ribeye and found the steak to be tough and lacking lots of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were delicious but the macaroni and cheese was lackluster. We finished with sorbet which was perfect and refreshing. We would choose another restaurant when we return to NOLA.

We followed the servers recommendations for several of the evening’s specials and we were not disappointed. We watched the staff prepare bananas foster table side and could not resist! Overall the food was delicious and the service was what you would expect from a high end restaurant. Our only issue would be with the hostess staff. We arrive early for our reserved time. We were instructed we needed to wait in the bar. Ok, I understand we were early, but that happens when you are a tourist in a city dependent upon public transportation. It would not rate a mention except we were eventually seated at a table that sat empty the entire time we waited in the bar. A larger group that arrived after us was seated before us. Also the restaurant was much fuller at the end of our meal than it was at the beginning of the meal. T appears we would have been less taxing to the wait staff if we had been seated when we arrived

Emeril's Delmonico was an excellent way to celebrate a milestone birthday and our first time visit to New Orleans. With a dinner party of 5, ALL of our meals were exceptional with great flavors and the New Orleans flare and burst of seasoning we were look for. Also the wine list was exquisite, I only wish we had taken note of the wine we ordered because I would love to be able to order a bottle off the Emeril's website if it were possible.
Our main server could have been more personable and friendly especially since our hostess and waiter were notified we were celebrating 2 birthdays. There were a couple occasions where our waiter heard our order or request but did not acknowledge until after I repeated myself, then he acknowledged he had heard it on the first request. A simple nod or "yes" would have sufficed. Overall our visit to Emeril's Delmonico was quite enjoyable and will definitely be a return visit. Thank You.

I brought in the managers from my company for what was supposed to be a highlight of our visit to New Orleans and the ultimate experience was poor. The main issue was inattentive service and a very slow kitchen. After waiting for almost an hour and a half for our meals, (there were seven of us) I asked what the hold up was and our server said it wasn’t his fault and there was nothing he could do. I began to wonder if our order was lost somehow, because the restaurant wasn’t that busy. When the meal finally arrived, the food was lukewarm, which is somewhat unappetizing with steak.

Had a great time and the food and service were excellent. We liked passing through the kitchen to get to our table and have done it before. It is always fun. Would've preferred however sitting in the front. The ambiance is better. It is a little stuffy in the back.
Absolutely love this restaurant though. We will be back!

The service is simply outstanding. Regarding food, I must say that I expected a bit more cajun spices. All in all it had a tast of "cajun" food addopted for people who do not like spices and cajun taste. In that sense it was a dissapointment. Cooking techniques are perfect, but for me, it lost it's cajun magic and became "hotel" food
