The food, service, and music was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Food was not good; didn't even finish the desert, if u can believe it. Champagne served flat and not so cold in a wine glass. Corn bread was very good though. Wife's fish cooked nicely. Sides were poor. My pork chop, quite frankly was a mess. Classic tourist trap.
The food was absolutely amazing! No doubt everything was cooked to perfection.
Our server Kevin was fabulous.
This was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we stepped through the front door, the staff were outgoing and friendly. I knew the food would be fantastic and it really was. However, with a 10 and 12-year old, worried about formal and button-downed service. Instead the team showed their personalities and looked out for all of us. The dining room was warm and inviting and the music upbeat and vibrant.
I could not recommend Emeril’s Delmonico more highly and hope we have a chance to experience it again one day.
Was so cold I had to go get a jacket out of my car. We asked to have it turned down many times, but no... made the meal too uncomfortable to enjoy.
Great time. Great food
Omg.......great food experience. Our server was exceptional. His wine recommendation of Nickel and Nickel Chardonnay was great. Good awesome.....and service was super.
The food was good. However the desserts not so good. The service started good but towards the end of the night it was terrible!, they took a long time to pick up the finish plates. We would ask to bring something and non of the waiters would bring then... not too good for a first experience. Not recommended.
The experience and the quality of service were excellent. The food is awesome with the attention to detail and presentation was spot on. Definitely worth the trip for exceptional food and service, highly recommend!!!
Delmonico has been a favorite dining spot of mine for decades rating a dining reservation whenever I'm in the New Orleans area. From the very first visit I had the impression that it was so good that it couldn't be improved upon. It was then purchased by Emeril Lagasse who managed to kick it up a notch. When Emeril took it over it immediately went from a want to visit to a must visit and he has maintained that status since. Reservations are necessary, but well worth making. If you like good food, fine wine and quiet elegance you won't be disappointed by Emeril's Delmonico.
Great food and servers are friendly but not too familiar. Service was prompt.
Food was very good as one would expect from this location. We had one issue with a roasted cauliflower side that was handled poorly by our server.
Overall the dinner was very enjoyable.
There was a wonderful Champaign surprise for our guests who were celebrating. The waiters were engaging and efficient. Appetizers of calamari and pork cheeks were nicely seasoned and sauced. The steaks were great, the scallops fine but a little salty, and the macaroni sides just ok. The mini sized deserts came with a congratulatory greeting and ended the meal on a happy note. My expectations for this level of restaurant are that each component of the meal be above average. The experience was great, but the food just not special.
I was on vacation with my 7 year old and wife. We had a great meal with a knowledgeable and personable server. We all loved our steak(s). It was pricey, but we knew this going in and it was worth it.
Fabulous turtle soup, excellent hanger steak and well done bananas foster. Old style steak house with a creole twist. We loved it.
Excellent food and experience!
visiting from the west coast Emerils is synonymous with New Orleans and elevated cuisine. From the Valet to the tableside cooking of the Bananas Foster the service was sublime. Highly recommended.
It was a great experience overall for my wife and my anniversary dinner. The ambiance upon arrival was very romantic as well as the escort to our table. We walked through the kitchen and were greeted by the chefs. While it was an unexpected to walk through the kitchen, some of the chefs seemed to be bored with the routine of welcoming guest. Our waiter was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. We didn’t have a glass that was left without beverage. While I enjoyed our waiter and his service, being pushy about the drink menu made me a little irritated. We also appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness of the restaurant.
Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in years! Impeccable service, delicious food, finest wines!
Delmonico was surprisingly reasonably-priced, from drinks to appetizers, entrees, and deserts. All were excellent tasting. I would go back
Wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner! Everything was terrific, and it started with our server, Lloyd, and his assistants, Reyna and Howard. They epitomize what great service should be - from getting my old fashion exactly as I like it to suggesting the perfect red wine for our dinner. The meal was delicious from appetizer to entrees, and the sides were outstanding, too. Service was efficient, but not rushed. We eat out at a lot of great restaurants, but this one really stands out.
Excellent service with excellent menu. Great wine selection!!
I will not come to New Orleans without eating at Delmonico! Been coming here for over 40 years and now it is better than ever!
What a wonderful dining experience! The service was impeccable! Very attentive and such a formal presentation-- made to feel very special. From the stuffed boudin balls and crab cakes, to the steak, chicken, and swordfish, and then for the coffee creme brulee, apple bread pudding and sorbet, all was mouth-watering! Absolutely delicious! It was a soothing atmosphere and we enjoyed our evening tremendously!
Loved Delmonico, food was phenomenal! Loved the historic house ambience but noise was a little too loud due to big groups.
The food was wonderful. This is one of our favorite places to eat in New Orleans.
Best meal of the trip!!
Just wonderful ... my husband says best steak he has ever had!
The service was fantastic. Our server was engaging and energetic. They were very attentive and accommodating to our groups needs. The food was superb. The overall experience was the quintessential fine dining experience you would expect from a place of this caliber.
Nicest friendly, the food was superb
The food was fabulous. The service was outstanding and attentive. And I believe the prices are very fair.
Terrific food, good service served in an elegant, but understated space. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Excellent food. The bone in ribeye and pork chop were juicy and delicious. The sides, especially, the collards, mac n’ cheese, and green beans were tasty. The corn bread rivaled my mother’s. Service was top notch
We enjoyed a Delicious meal and amazing service from an incredible team
My wife and I kicked off our honeymoon with this meal as we were flying out of MSY early the next day. The wine selection was great, the service was superb, and the food was fantastic.
Emeril’s Delmonico did not disappoint - everything was perfect from the cornbread to appetizer, mash potatoes, Mac n cheese, Rib eye and banana foster and the wait staff!!! It was a delightful dinner!
We visit New Orleans quite a bit. Tiring of the touristy French Quarter scene we opted to try Emeril’s Delmonico. Meal reservation was for 7:30PM and as we arrived a bit early we decided to have cocktails in the bar prior to being seated. It was not overly crowded and we found a table for 4 near the bar. Apparently there is no wait staff in the bar so we ordered drinks at the bar. It was a considerable wait but were eventually served although the order was incorrect. They removed the drinks and replaced them with what we ordered although not in a timely fashion. A bit later my significant other decided she would pop up to the bar to reorder and noticed a happy hour menu. When she inquired about our drink order she was told by a somewhat curt bartender that we were too late for happy our prices as happy hour was over at 7:00PM. When she returned with our drinks and told me that the bartender had said we missed the 7:00PM happy hour cut off I glanced at my watch that showed 7:02PM. Really?
When we were seated for dinner and throughout our dining experience we had to constantly ask someone to remove our used dishes.
We are certainly not prudes in any since of the word however we do expect decent service throughout any dining experience but especially when paying top dollar in a supposedly upscale restaurant.
In fairness to Emeriles they did comp us a bit on the bill and gave us a desert to baltake home.
Probably will not recommend them in the future. (Even our waiter said the bar staff could be rude on occasion)
We had great service, great food, and fun company. High end food and atmosphere but far from stuffy - live music made for a fun night!
Just a spectacular restaurant. We ate early (6:30) and happy hour in the bar was until 7pm where they had $5 apps and half-priced wines. Since they have awesome wine at $20 per glass, $10 is a steal. So we brought our half priced wine to the table. No problem. The entrees were both GREAT. I would recommend the Drum or Redfish.
Staff was friendly
