Great! Can't wait to go back. Will definitely recommend Emeril's Chop House!
I'm a certified carnivore and love nothing more than sizzling red meat and all the trimmings. Thus, I was shocked to receive a COLD slab of tough NY Strip caked with cajun spices. Yes...I said COLD. Cold meat on a COLD plate. Not the way its done. While the tag team wait staff was quite attentive and very apologetic, all they did was let my wife eat alone and brought me another steak a half hour later...hot and appropriately seasoned. By then the asparagus was useless and our bottle of Malbec was gone. It certainly spoiled the experience. But apparently its a common occurrence because they didn't seem to concerned nor did they offer any concession. Very disappointing.
The only thing to complain about were our steaks were undercooked and we had to send back. The service and ambambiance were very good.
bass fish was great . the baked potato that i would never eat was fabulous.
The service was excellent. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was average and not nearly worth the price.
Very disappointing! My husband and I have eaten several times at this restaurant, but I am pretty sure it was our last. We were happy to be able to get a last minute reservation, and were seated at our reservation time, but that is where the good ends. In general the staff, including the hostess, was not very personable. Our waitress, Elizabeth, was the only one to greet us with a smile, however, once the initial greeting was over, we experienced an unacceptable level of service at what is considered an upscale restaurant. Sad to say, we ended up sitting next to some high rollers who were given exceptional treatment, at our expense! The casino (Anthony) and restaurant management sat at their table, gave them gift cards to the shops and I am sure comped their meal. Sad to say our waitress was also responsible for their table, so they got well taken care of while we were all but ignored. We poured our own wine, had to ask for our water to be refilled and had to ask for our check. While I am sure that they spend far more money in the casino than we will ever be able to afford, we spent our hard earned money, for our anniversary, to have a nice evening out, which was dampened by the surprising lack of service at this restaurant. On our way out, the manager, Jason Lonigro, asked how our meal was, and we explained all of the above to him. He was apologetic, but the damage was done. We are all paying guests and should receive the same level of service!
Everything about the meal and restaurant experience was really good.
Visited the Chop House with my dad for an early dinner. We usually split an order for the porterhouse steak and did so this time again. After we were seated, I noticed a small group on one side of the restaurant attending what appeared to be a "happy hour" reception. I asked the waiter about it, and he said that this was the start of a promotion for ChopHouse, and that up to 200 people were expected to attend.
The reception area quickly grew to a crowd of well over 100, accompanied by a photographer taking a number of pictures.
By the time our appetizers arrived, we needed to have our wait staff repeat everything they said, since the noise was becoming deafening. My dad was able to deal with this when he finally turned off his hearing aids. By the time our entrée came, I ate a few pieces of the steak, and asked to have the rest wrapped to go, since the noise and camera flashing were not conducive to a relaxing dinner. I did ask manager about why they didn't use one of the available rooms in the Sands conference center, but he indicated that it was a promotion for the restaurant; he did not show any concern for diner's (non-invitees to reception) comfort.
food came too soon after the previous serving==did NOT appreciate the rush!
Best meal we’ve had in months. From service to food, everything was excellent. Already booked another reservation to go back!
As always, great steaks for the value. Our waiter was very good and courteous. We love dining here when we gamble at the Sands.
We've eaten here before. The wait staff is excellent. Entrees were fine. I was disappointed with my dozen oysters. While the were tasty, they were quite small.
This is my favorite restaurant at the Sands. The food is delicious and Betsy, our server, was awesome! This is the second time that we had the pleasure of having Betsy take such good care of us. And I don't mind paying for a great meal, the only gripe I have is in regards to the appetizer. We ordered the calamari and felt that, for the price we paid, we should have gotten a bit more of the calamari. There were four of us dining and we all agreed that the appetizer was a bit sparse. Other than that, it was fabulous. The wine I had was delicious - it was a pinot noir and I neglected to ask the name because it was delish!!! Will definitely be going back!
Great food and great service. French onion soup is superb.
Our 44th wedding anniversary was topped off by a wonderful meal at Emeril’s Chop House at the Sands Casino. The meal, service and ambiance were superb!
Had a surprise birthday dinner for my husband and the hostess and waitresses were so accommodating to make it a surprise. Service and food were exceptional . Highly recommend.
Everything about this place was awesome. We loved the beakers for the wine, food was incredible, great staff and probably the best oyster we ever had.
We dine here for special occasions always have a wonderful dinner . The staff is wonderful and accommodating .
Everything was made to perfection. Can't wait to go again.
Birthday dinner. Service was very slow, considering there were 2 servers on our table. Drinks and side dishes were forgotten and communication was nonexistent. I brought a cake for dessert but after eating we decided not to eat it there. The servers did not ask if we were ready for dessert, they just brought the cake out.
Caesar salad was very sloppily prepared, seafood au gratin was not very hot.
Completely pleased with the service Excellent Food
There were 6 adults for dinner and everyone loved their meal. The service was excellent and I cant wait to have dinner there again.
The remodeling of this restaurant was a positive change as people walking through the casino can not see anyone dining inside. The privacy now makes this my favorite restaurant. My party was celebrating my wife birthday.
Poor selection, over priced, example, salad not fresh and skmpy..drinks mostly soda and ice..service was rushed, felt like a were in a 'chain'restaurant.....staff made us feel like we should not have come in the time a did....when we asked for bread, we were told that they had to check the kitchen to see what they had!!!! Asked for less sauce to be put on gnocchi dish and there was more sauce than contents !!!!!
Everything is wonderful here, every time we come to the area we always enjoy eating here
Excellent food and service! Steaks were cooked to perfection.... waitstaff was superb... less expensive than many other steakhouses
Mr Lagasse may want to take a few remedial cooking lessons on THE CHEW
Great wine by glass! Excellent scallops done perfectly and fine calamari!! Kudos to your updated menu!
Everytime time I go I enjoy the pork chop which has to be atleast 2 inches thick and 6-8 long. It is phenominal.
I travel all over the country and without a doubt, a top choice restaurant. The four of us gathered for a couples night out and we were not disappointed. Steak was to perfection and the sides were welcome addition. Not to mention the amazing oysters we had that were like nothing we have had before. Service was excellent and we already suggested this hot spot to another friend and them came away raving as the four of us that night. Well done chef.....
The waitress was not personable. She didn’t smile the whole time. I got the shrimp bisque. I felt it was over priced for what it was. I did enjoy my filet with the peppercorn/coqnac sauce. My biggest concern was the server, she could have been friendlier.
All I can say is excellent start to finish.
We made a dinner reservation for the pre show dinner. We had looked up the menu online and were excited about the prospect. When we were seated and asked about the menu, we were told that they had discontinued this menu months ago. The waitress told us they the other two restaurants were still participating, but they were not. Well, this was too bad because at this point it was too late to go elsewhere and we had already been seated. They had us now! The food was really good. We all enjoyed our meal. The prices are incredibly steep, but other than that it is a really nice place. One thing to note is that the steaks do not come with complimentary sauces or finishing salts.
We were very impressed with the service and food at Emeril’s Chop House. Everything was delicious, and we were served promptly. We will definitely return to Emeril’s Chop House!
This was our first time back after they renovated. It is still outrageously priced for what they offer. We have been to many high-quality steakhouses, including ones in Atlantic City and Philadelphia, and have gotten just as good of a meal if not better for less. Our reservation was for 5:45 and at 8:00 we were offered a free drink at the bar. We had just finished coffee and dessert and were talking, but they obviously wanted our table. The person who asked us was very nice about it but after just spending over $400 for 4 people, being asked to leave was just unacceptable. As we promptly left, we noticed that there were empty tables which made it even more frustrating. We certainly won't be back after that. There are too many other great restaurants
that make you feel like they appreciate your business to go to instead!
We have eaten here multiple times prior to a concert and it has always been superb. Emeril’s barbecue shrimp with grits is the best I have ever had and I lived in the South. We sat at the bar, which we like to do, and usually meet like minded people also having dinner and drinks before the concert. It is a wonderful evening and worth the drive.
Delicious meal, tender steak and great service. We’ll be back!
Food and service were exceptional. Very nice atmosphere. Servers Temba and Tara were friendly and accommodating. We'll ask for them next time.
I loved the bourbon sweet potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, and filet mignon. I described to Temba how I like my filet cooked and he suggested I ask for "medium plus." It was perfect!
First time here, Loved the food. Service was exceptional. Great staff. Good portion sizes and food was hot. Would defiantly come back again.
We were seated in a timely manner. Appetizers were the calamari which was very good! Love them! Octopus that you could hardly find on the plate. Good but disappointed at the same time. Roasted beet and root vegetable salad was good. Entree’s were the salmon that was not that great gnocchi that were gummy and burnt but if made right could be a good dish. The flavor was there but needs improvement. The pork chop was very good! The banana cream pie is the bomb! I think it’s a bit pricey but I’d go again for the calamari and maybe the whole pie!
