It was very good. While it was very loud and hard to hear the waitress -the food was good . Had the cheeseburger flatbread and onion soup - I would do it again. Drinks were good.

I love the Emerald Rose. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. All of the staff go out of their way to make the experience comfortable. I have never had a bad meal there and especially love the turkey dinner.

Lucky to have this place local to us. Good food, weekly entertainment, nice staff. Generous appetizer portions. Accommodates requests for item variations.

Always a great experience. The prime rib is excellent, as is the service. Group of 9 went for a birthday and they were very accommodating, especially with two toddlers. Haley was great, along with the food and drink.

The Emerald Rose is a consistently good restaurant. The service is good, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. The only reason they did not get outstanding is because of their coupon/birthday policy. They changed their "free" birthday dinner to the day of only. It used to be you could go during your birthday month. They could at least let you use it the weekend before or after your birthday.

Great place to eat with friends. I recommend the prime rib on Friday and Saturday, you can't go wrong with the NY sirloin or the tips. But you have to get the mushroom risotto

I don't typically order oven roasted chicken at a restaurant because it is usually better at home. Not this time. Roast 1/2 chicken with rosemary and thyme was every bit as good as home. My complements.

We dine here frequently (once or twice a week). We enjoy the menu (salmon, steak tips, chipotle chicken, lobster roll, just to mention a few). Always enjoy whatever meal we get. The waitstaff and management are personable and efficient. Good wine too!

The night started out waiting for a waitstaff for more than 20 minutes. I walked around and couldn't find the manager or waitress. Finally asked a waitress to help us. Once they figured out their was a communication problem among the staff they were very apologetic. The manager came over an apologized and gave us a complimentary appetizer. The rest of the night they were very attentive.

Our meal was a disappointment. My husband and I both ordered the clam chowder. I couldn't eat it. My husband said he could get through his but would never order it again. It was extremely smokey. It wasn't a smoked bacon or salt pork taste. It was liked they had put liquid smoke in it. Horrible!!!

I had a chicken dish which was so overseasoned with garlic I need to scrape the sauce and cheese off the chicken. I just couldn't get through it all. I took home half of it and it's still sitting in the refrigerator, 2 days later. It probably will end up in the trash.

My husband had the turkey dinner which he enjoyed.

The highlight of the evening was our server, Melissa. She was personable and efficient.

I won't be going to The Emerald Rose in the near future. Interestingly both the Café Escadrille and Emerald Rose are owned by the same gentleman. Café escadrille is fabulous!!! What a difference.

Consistently good food - nice local spot. The bar is always lively. So nice that they accommodate diners with a small salad ( a good one, not the wilted lettuce, sad tomato kind) if they don't want fries, etc.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant; lunch on a Sunday. We were seated immediately in a booth which we had requested. Ambiance is pleasant on the dining room side (there is a very large bar/pub area opposite, separated by a full wall). The homemade chip app was terrific; nothing better than thin, hot and crispy potato chips with a tangy dipping sauce! The warm Irish bread was a special treat too. Our waitress was quite personable. While it didn't seem overly busy for Sunday lunch, we went long stretches of time without seeing her. Since we weren't in any particular hurry this was a huge deal, but should be taken into consideration if you're on any type of time schedule. The chicken pot pie was a good portion, hot and creamy with a beautiful, light puff pastry top. The Cobb salad was quite large with enough to take home for seconds. The chicken with artichoke and spinach served over penne pasta was quite tasty. Overall a good meal for a good price. We'll probably be back to try some of the more traditional Irish foods.

We sat at the bar mid-afternoon and avoided the lunch rush. Food was outstanding especially the raw oysters and the scallop app served over sage risotto. Bartender let me sample a sip of wine before ordering a glass. The whole experience was a 10.

Our visit was a miss. I had the fish and chips and the fish was severely undercooked. The batter was soggy and the fish not fully cooked. My husband got the steak tips which were over cooked and tough. The high light was the Irish egg roll appetizer. I don't think we will be going back.

I go to the Emerald Rose often and enjoy the bar side. We went there recently for a family celebration and sat on the dining room and it was wonderful. Good food, excellent service and an overall good value. It also has some outdoor seating to enjoy when weather permits. I would recommend to anyone

Fantastic Find - the menu was spectacular and the service extraordinary. I wish I remembered our waitresses' name but she was wonderful. Very friendly and attentive ( in a good way). It was a 50 minute drive from my house but well worth it for the lobster roll alone. Pure lobster meat. 😋

Food was decent. Restaurant is very loud. Had to ask waitress for water refills after waiting a very long time, which is a pet peeve of mine. What ruined my experience was being charged $7.95 for a children's meal that included NO SIDES and then being charged $3 for a small cup of chocolate milk on top of that. So I paid $11 for kraft mac and cheese and 8 oz. of chocolate milk. This restaurant clearly does not want families with small children dining there. If you are in an adults-only group I think it's fine. Otherwise go somewhere that has a children's menu with a complete meal for a reasonable price.

The food was very good but the service was fair. The server wasn't attentive to our needs. My friend asked for her salad before her meal she could eat it before dinner came. Dinner came about 3 minutes later. Noise level is way to high, it makes it hard to enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant.
