Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

    My husband and I went there for my 70 plus birthday. He said that I can pick anyplace that I want. I went for Ely's and was very thankful that I made that choice. We got there at 4 and started with the happy hour at the bar. The bar early menu was wonderful. We only had the artichoke appetizer and it fed both of us. (we were saving room for dinner) We were then seating in a wonderful spot by a wall of wine. Our waitress was very attentive. I ordered the redfish and my husband ordered the filet with a gorgonzola topping. Both meals were excellent. Thank the chef and staff for a wonderful birthday experience.

    Ely’s surpassed my expectations and everything was Great. First Time here and didn’t really know what to order so I just went with the many reviews and they were correct. The Filet and Redfish were Excellent. Tried to get Waitress Amanda but she wasn’t in. Was assigned Makenna and she was great and a Pleasure to deal with. Have been going to Chapleys for Years but I think I have Found My New Spot. I think the Family Competition is Heating Up. Just hope this Restaurant is Consistent. Nice of the Owner to stop by our table and see how everything was going during our Anniversary Dinner. It’s an Expensive Restaurant but it was Worth It Tonight. I guess these days you really do have to Pay to get The Best!!!

    The Filet Louisiane, Ribeye and Salmon were fantastic, Our server was very accommodating and knew the menu well. It was a party of 4 for $400, including our tip. I would like to say it was Very well worth every penny. Thank You for the Great dining experience Ely's!
