It’s wonderful for both everyday luxury dinning and a special night out!!
One of the best steaks yet in Vail!!! Service was excellent too! Save room for the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies & salted caramel ice cream.
My husband and I were there for a special occasion. Because I feel I can find upscale meats and ingredients on my own and do a fine job of preparing them myself, it’s the service and restaurant experience that makes the difference. Elway’s did not disappoint. The service and overall restaurant experience was A+. Our server, Ryan, his assistant, plus the sommelier, deserve applause!
Best steak house in Vail!
They remembered that our last experience had not been positive and more than compensated for it, which was much appreciated
Great! Loved our waiter and the food 😄
Two of our steaks were under cooked then were taken back and burnt on the outside and still rare in the middle. I expect a lot more when paying $60 for a steak.
Great food and service
Food was great. Service ok.
Elway's did not disappoint. Professional, friendly service and amazing food. Lamb chops were out of this world and we had a wonderful meal and experience!
Amazing as always. The food and staff are wonderful. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
We usually love Elways, both in Denver and in Vail. We were so happy coming in, and so glad to have a wonderful table. The food was wonderful. However, our waiter had absolutely no social skills and was down-right rude to us. We refused to let him ruin our evening and decided to not make a big deal of it, but we had to just laugh at how incredibly rude he was. If we had let him, he could have ruined what was a very special night for our family.
Delicious! Great meal had by my entire party. The steak taco app was amazing.
Situated in the Lodge at Vail, Elway's is a terrific restaurant for couples, families and gatherings. After a long day on Vail Mountain, it is a welcome place to dine. Menu is complete from soup to nuts and they offer a great menu for the young diner. Have had the occasion of dining there many times and each time it has been a pleasurable experience. Don't hesitate.
An outstanding meal
We had a great time and the service was fantastic
Dine there in Vail Village where all good Restaurant are about the same price and this one stood out from all the other place we went, I would definitely go back there on my next Vail vacation.
Service was excellent and the place has a great vibe. Out steaks were not initially cooked anywhere near the tempature ordered (3 out of 4 were not even close). They fixed everything, but we were surprised a steak house like this would miss cooking steaks so significantly. The manager apologized and we were given complimentary deserts (which were excellent ), so they did give a big effort to make everything right overall. The salads and sides were awesome.
Awesome. Really awesome.
Exceptional on all fronts!!!
Early 5:45 reservation and we were still rushed out. Seated next to wall of serving dishes that staff accessed often. We dine at better restaurants often and wine is always expensive but Elways wine list is ridiculously overpriced. Food was good but service was pushy and there’s no excuse for that. We will not be returning.
Alaskan crab legs deliciosas, vino dulce austriaco y postre de limón ❤️.
Unfortunately, the service was not great at Elway’s Vail last night. We had a great table so that was nice. Felt very rushed although my friend and I only had one cocktail each. And the chocolate cake was downright stale.
Valet parking...in Vail Village...can't beat that!! Except for Elways that is, which has been excellent each & every time we have gone there. The steak melts, the fish wonderful. The staff & service impeccable.
We Love Elways in Denver and Cherry Creek but Vail twice now has let us down.
Amazing place to dine with friends, a date or family.
Food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
Excelente todo ... reservaciones limitadas a 4 ... deberian ampliarlas ...
Great restaurant, right in the middle of Vail. Great steak.
Took a little bit long between appetizer and main course.
Bar seating noise a bit much v dining room. Good however is always a "10"
This was our third time celebrating our anniversary at Elways in Vail. We'll probably not come back. Wait times for the food service was very long. We asked for a table by the fireplace but they said it was not available. They placed us right near the kitchen which was very noisy Meanwhile the table that they said by a he fireplace sat open for over an hour. They said they were short staffed. Had to wait 30 minutes even for bread to be served at the table. We ordered our Steak medium rare plus and it came out very rare . Unacceptable as the Steak was cut open to share between my wife and I. The chief should have clearly saw that the stark was not even close to being done. The staff was not very apologetic about the whole experience. They did end up taking the Steak off the the bill.
Muy mal servicio
This was our first time at Elway’s . My husband and I are in town for a work event and We brought my 10 month old along. It’s always a little nerve racking bringing a baby to a restaurant but everyone was so nice! I had multiple staff come to check on us, pick up toys he had dropped, fill his sippy cup with water. Everyone was so nice. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, I would highly recommend Elway’s in vail.
Great Seafood! Great vegetable side options! That mash potatoes and the cauliflower are impressive!!!
Elway’s Cellar #7 Red wine is Ver good...:-)
Happy we changed our reservation from another restaurant and tried Elway’s.
Great location in Vail Village.
We've been to Elways several times and always have a wonderful meal. Our food this visit was fantastic. Our one issue was that our server spilled a glass of water on me and her lack of response was quite disappointing. She gave me one napkin to dry my pants and sweater which were both drenched. Additionally, she left us wth a soaking wet tablecloth which we had to puke up on top of the table to keep it from dripping. Then she served our dessert on the wet table. That type of service is unacceptable when we are paying $350 for a meal. I only share this because I believe Elways is a high quality establishment which typically has impeccable service and this was not evidenced on our most recent visit.
The service was OK. However the sommelier sold us a $20.00 bottle of CabFranc for $123.00 . Absolutely criminal. Given the many great restaurants in Vail, I would recommend virtually any other place to spend your money.
Very accommodating and the food was good too
If you want a good meal in Vail
This is the place
The food was incredible but we had a late reservation and the place was nearly empty. Before our entrees, it was clear they were ready to get us out the door. The brightened the lights, began picking up the tables around us and the service felt hurried. Our waiter was not outright rude or anything, but everything else made us feel uncomfortable and rushed.
If the restaurant closes early, fine; but don't accept late reservations.
Great night for our dinner
