Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed with the food. The bread brought to the table was cold. I ordered a steak and was over cooked. Service was good. Knowledgeable, and quick to remedy issues.
This was our second time here....first time was absolutely amazing. This visit was mediocre at best. The filet was cooked outstanding but it was a horrible cut of meat. A ton of fat in it. I honestly can't believe they served it. I thought the wine was overpriced. $75 for a $18 is a bit much of a mark up. Lastly...need to get the halibut back on the menu!
Great service and nice looking place. The food was not too good.
Hands down the best flavor steak you can get in Denver!
Girlfriend and I went for Valentine's Day. It was very busy but staff was Professional and Friendly! We will definitely be back
They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Scott and Scott tandem were over the top.
Quality of the beef was poor, fatty and that had attended going through it .
Elway's at the Ritz Carlton is an excellent high end steak and seafood restaurant. The quality of the food is great and the service is professional.
I went to Elways with my girlfriend for an early Valentine's day date, and we had a phenomenal time! We ordered the crab cake for an appetizer and it was great with the Apple slaw it came with, and both of us had the filet and both were cooked perfectly, and to finish we had a cheesecake and a key lime pie for dessert. Great service, would definitely go back!
The service/food was fantastic. The servers wanted to please you so that your experience was amazing. We were wearing Nuggets gear because we were going to the game and the waitstaff put our order in in a timely manner because they knew what time tip-off was! We were appreciative and impressed. The ambiance is, however, odd. Perhaps I am used to the Elway’s Cherry Creek location, where every aspect seems warm and like you are being treated like a VIP. The Ritz Carlton Elway’s location seems cold; although the servers were attentive, knowledgeable and proud to work there. It was my first time there, and just seemed cold. Maybe add a fireplace, make it more lodge like. People visiting Denver love that.
Great Service, servers were very gracious! Food was outstanding!
The staff is the best and most noteable at Elways. For the price, the food is least noteable.
We loved the food and our server was awesome! We would eat there again!
Second time here. Last time was 2009 and I had the baked half chicken which I’ve craved ever since. Had it again this visit and it didn’t disappoint. Brought friends for their first visit here and they all said they’d be back!
We went to celebrate our anniversary. It was a great meal, great service with great attention to detail. Only a disappointed in that we were the last table right before the kitchen. I think I would have liked to sit more towards the middle of the room..
Great as always!
Lovely evening out. Excellent service
We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and could not have picked a better place. The food was outstanding. The steaks melted in your mouth. The Lamb Pop appetizer was to die for. The service was impeccable. When we got up from our table and walking out, our coats were waiting before I could turn in our claim check. By the time we got to the door, the valet was pulling up with our car. We will definitely return for another special occasion.
The food was delicious and the servers were fantastic and very attentive. I didn’t think the hostess staff was as attentive/on top of things as I expected from such a nice establishment. I arrived 10 minutes early and the hostess directed me to the bar and I would be seated closer to my reservation time of 7:30. Ten minutes past 7:30 we had not been seated and I had to ask why and remind them we were waiting. I thought the staff would have been friendlier and more attentive, but again, the servers were great!
The ambiance was nice, but the staff came around to often. We were charged $20 for water. The food was boring we had crab lump meat appetizer, it was just that lump crab served over iceberg lettuce. Less than ten minutes after receiving or appetizer our main course arrived. The lobster was not very good it was chewy and flavorless. The steak was good but definitely not worth $65. The sides are served seperate and again very boring. For a $220 dinner we expected a lot more. Don't order the lobster.
