The calamari was really tasty with a very unique sauce. Caesar salad was large end excellent! We had the ribeye which was delicious!. Their simple seasoning was perfect and the steak was extremely tender and cooked perfectly.. A++ for steaks here
Only knock is it’s very expensive even compared to Guard and Grace. We would return for special dinners.
Excellent service, very nice menu and excellent preparation, but a bit pricey, in my opinion.
Eating a bit late for me, after 8. So, wanted a lite meal. I contemplated ordering lamb fondue. Decided I wasn’t hungry enough. Started with a white Pinot Nior and gin and tonic for hubby. Both were excellent. I ordered sea bass with perfect sear and seasoning. It was the best I have ever tasted served with carrots and asparagus cooked to perfection! Still that bit of crunch. Hubby ordered small filet, med. rare and mashed potatoes. Wasn’t sure the steak could be worth the price😳 I was wrong. Not sure if it was dry aging but it was absolutely butter in your mouth. Service was spot on. Glad we made this choice. D&S
We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday there. Elway’s is very pricey but the beef is the best my entire party has ever had. The sides are average. The meat is so well seasoned that you don’t need any of the sauces. Our server Steven was exceptional. Great time!
Great food but....way way LOUD!!!!
AMAZING!!! Leslee the server was so energetic, friendly and attentive and Chef Marco in the kitchen was very impressive-The lamb chop fondue was O.M.G! The Bison Ribeye and Short Rib were done to the perfect temperature, salmon was to die for, beet salad was mouth watering and the famous Ding Dong finished everything perfectly.
You must get the lamb fondue-exceptional! Great experience, fantastic service.
The service, food and atmosphere was awesome. 5 stars!
Our dinner and service were excellent. Would highlt recomment Elway’s
This was the first time I have been at Elway’s and it was fantastic! The food was top notch and the service was great as well. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. It was well worth it.
Always excellent- our family’s go to place to meet; the service was attentive and gracious all around. My water glass never was empty. The waiter was outstanding. The food was delicious with all special requests accommodated. A++
Pre football brunch. Great food and service
Great as always. I wish they would open the main dining room. The valet guy, Zach, is the best valet ever!
This was for our 30th anniversary and it was an AWESOME experience - we will go back again!!
Outstanding, personal service. Food was great.
Because of COVID, this was our first trip back to Elway's Downtown in two years and we were very excited to be going on New Year's Eve! The Pros for our visit were that the food was still fabulous and the service is still outstanding! What put a big damper on our evening was when the DJ they hired started playing LOUD, OBNOXIOS, Rap Music while we were dining! I realize it was New Year's Eve, but really?! We thought this was a fine dining establishment and not a DJ dance floor. This was such a disappointing ending to our evening.
Scott was our server and took outstanding care of us. Had two delicious steaks and the sides were on point too. We will be back!!
The only complaint is icy sorbet which should have been whipped before serving; although the flavor was good the sorbet had been sitting and was icy. Otherwise, excellent food
Nice atmosphere, great steaks, salads and appetizers.
Food was good, but still overpriced. $14 for a 1oz pour of wine is a bit much. We’re glad we went but would honestly not go back for the dollar amount. The cheesecake for desert was delicious. Our server barely spoke to us, never told us his name or went over the menu or specials as expected in a high end steak restaurant.
The only ding I have is that the "surfing" lobster tail and crab legs were "kiddie" pool in size. That aside, I would definitely go back and recommend.
Server was of very few words and did not offer/explain any specials. He spent more time with the people who were ordering alcohol than he did at our table, the buser helped our table more than the server.
My husband own's a restaurant, and he was happy to see the good old menu items and not just the new way food. We enjoyed it!
Excellent food and service
Fantastic! Garrett was the best!
Felt tired …Great waiter.. couldn’t carry the mediocre food with service alone. imagine not being able to get a baked potato at a steakhouse… need to revamp and recommit or close it up.
Always good food and a great staff there. It's our Christmas Tradition.
Very limited menu which was disappointing for a Christmas Day meal. The Elway Salmon was excellent but overpriced. Bloody Mary's were excellent. Service excellent by Jeremy.
Looking at the menus for every day dining, we really liked what we saw but unfortunately not on the Christmas Day menu.
Very pleasant for Christmas Day breakfast. Menu was pretty limited but the food was outstanding.
We were very disappointed. The waitress tried so hard but the food was very slow to deliver. The steak had little flavor due to being over seasoned with dry rub. To many other steak houses to pay this much money to be disappointed.
Menu was limited compared to other steakhouses in Denver and restaurant is in hotel lobby.
Christmas meal with family.
I was dissatisfied with the food. The potatoes weee not cooked and cold. The cauliflower has no spice or flavor. Steaks were fine. The service was okay but we were a party of 7 and it took so long to get our desserts and the check. The Cherry Creek location is much better all the way around. Disappointing evening for the price.
Server was phenomenal, food was delicious. It was kind of loud in there was the only thing but that's not the staffs fault. Got home and realized the chef put happy birthday on my hubby's cookies so thoughtful! Really good experience.
Every time I go to Elways I leave very satisfied.
Fantastic food, great wine list, excellent service.
It is not a cheap experience but price is fair for the experience.
Service was excellent! Steaks were delicious. Enjoyed the ambiance and location.
It was fantastic!
For a “fine dining” establishment, they could not cook a steak cooked correctly, the service was slow and inattentive.
