Elway's Cherry Creek

We were celebrating my son’s high school graduation with this lunch. Our waitress was one the best I heave ever had and made it a really wonderful meal. After lunch we were all too full for dessert but she sent us on our way with a ding dong that said congratulations on it. Very classy restaurant with delicious food and a nice ambience.
Great experience! Apple Cinnamon bread pudding was very dense, dry and lacking flavor.
We celebrated a ‘mile stone’ birthday & the dessert was beyond belief!!! Super service.
Our entrees (Elway's salmon and the Grouper) were excellent, hot and flavorful. My wedge salad was incomparable. The cocktails were generous and yummy and the Dumol Chardonnay (a splurge for our birthday celebration) was wonderful. The service at Elway's is always seamless and this visit was no exception. Thank you for always being a satisfying, reliable dining experience.
We went to Elway's to celebrate my son's college graduation. The staff when our group couldn't decide which wine to order, made great meal recommendations and made my son feel very special. Would definitely come here for another special occasion.
I have eaten there innumerable times since it’s opening Mostly I enjoy dining there;however, I must say my steak was not of good quality —gristly, hard to chew and not consistent with the usual quality I would expect
Very much like the atmosphere and the wait staff were awesome. The price of the food and size of what you had, I wasn’t very thrilled with. The taste of the food was great though.
Elway's is expensive and worth the money. Parking, greeting, recognition, seating, service (including the sommelier) is knowledgeable but not intrusive, there when you need it, there when you want it, moving right along but not rushed. Went there with my visiting son-in law, had pleasant exchanges with adjoining tables, piano/bass a touch overwhelming. The kind of experience you always want, do not always expect but are delighted when it is there.
As MacArthur said, "I shall return."
My wife and I have visited Elway's on more than one occasion and on this visit we found the food to be adequate but not outstanding. The dinner salad was good, although some of the ingredients (tomatoes and radishes) had absolutely no flavor. We both ordered the prime rib and baked potato. They arrived "warm" but by the end of the dinner the meat was cool. Its initial temperature could/should have been higher. The baked potato was also just warm, but not warm enough to melt the extra whipped butter we had asked for.
We went there for the prime rib and while we had a nice dinner, I will be considering other venues in the future.
Sat in the bar for a graduation celebration lunch-food and service was excellent. I was greeted by name and seated immediately. Bar service was friendly and impeccable. We ordered the smash burgers and lobster roll. Burgers were cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I can not recommend Elway’s enough- it is always a pleasant and wonderful experience!
Food was ok. The server made a lot of mistakes. The order the food came out was terrible. Used to love Elways. No so good anymore.
Reliably good food and service in a relatively quiet atmosphere. Always nice to be greeted by Mary!
We have been to Elway’s many times in the past. Unfortunately this time it was not great. The lamb was basically baaaaaing when it was served to my daughter. Our steaks were warm at best and served on cold plates. Needless to say it was not our normal experience at Elway’s.
Food was overall excellent, NY strip had a large tendon in the middle of the cut, porterhouse and prime rib was superb. Service was not in keeping with a high-end restaurant
Great job, we had guests in for Mother's Day and they were able to get us handled well even though there was not an empty table in the place. Memorable event and great food/service!
It was my birthday and we got a lovely booth, had an amazing dinner and a birthday dessert surprise was above and beyond with its artistry and beauty. Elway's never disappoints!
Food is great, service is great. The cocktails are a little on the expensive side.
Very poor service and food.
We go to Elways every year for my birthday, which was indicated in the reservation. Zero attention was paid to that request.
We were sat next to two large groups, despite there being plenty of other tables available that were further away.
The food was great, as always, but the experience wasn’t quite as good as years past.
Kind of disappointing.
First time at Elways. Nothing special, especially for the price. Drinks are expensive. Avoid the crab cakes, completely underwhelmed by those deep fried things. Had the signature ribeye. The steak was good, but I wow t outstanding for the price. Elways won’t rank as a destination following my initial experience
Great food and great service. Can't wait to go back.
The quality of the food doesn’t seem what it use to be. I always have been a big fan and recommended Elway’s to everyone. The service and ambiance are still great, but for the cost/expectation, the food was just ok. There are too many extraordinary restaurants in Denver these days. If Elway’s continues to be just ok it won’t survive.
Service was amazing, the staff all seem to really care about their jobs and customers. We felt very special celebrating our wedding anniversary there. Would definitely recommend other couples and friends to go there for special occasions.
The food came out on a timely manner, and the food recommendations from our waitress, Kaitlin, were very very useful and on point.
We sat by the bar, on a booth and had a very pleasant and great time.
Always good food and service. The ambiance is pleasant and relaxing. Parking is not an issue which is a plus in Cherry Creek.
By far one of the best meals we’ve ever experienced.
Celebrated our anniversary- the entire staff made the meal special and were fantastic!
Good food and service. I am concerned that I got a notice from open table that we were a no show for our reservation. We were not. We were right on time, seated immediately and had a great dinner. I may not use open table anymore if this is the nonsense that happens and puts a cloud over an otherwise good experience. Frustrating and upsetting.
I am a fan of the brunch during football season and have enjoyed dinners in the past.. We went friday night for dinner--WAY TOO NOISEY.
Also they put a mandatory tip on a part of 6---wha't's up with that--6?
Anyway, the prices have gone way up as well so not as good a value as previously.
6 people each one cocktail each one wine by the glass bill$800.00 with mandatory tip included.
You be the judge.
Good food, great service, but I ordered salmon and I got a steak :) I ate anyway...it was good.
Excellent. Greg was informative with the right amount of follow up
Lobster Cocktails incredible, food was amazing.
All staff outstanding from valet to manager!
Bread, salad, & anniversary cake surprise A+.
Prime rib cut too thick-tough served bloody, rather than medium & medium rare. Did not send back due to special night! It was so nice to be in a place where you could hear each other talk,
(older folks)have problems with noise levels!
VERY responsive and respectful of our party's dietary needs. Thanks for making this a marvelous special event for us (not our first time trusting you with that role an, yes!, the steak was grr-eat)!
Outstanding dinner for our anniversary! Filet mignons with blue cheese butter, Mac & cheese, and broccoli were all cooked to perfection. Prime rib tacos for appetizer are a must. Thank you Elway's for making it extra special!
First time there, wonderful restaurant! Would go back in a second.
We had an early evening reservation. The bar was busy, and the dining room was filling up quickly. The steak was grilled perfectly, and the lobster tater tots were delicious. Our waiter James was the best restaurant waiter I’ve seen in years. He is passionate about his career, and obviously quite experienced. When in Denver and wanting for a steak dinner at a nice restaurant, try Elway’s. Make a reservation tho, I feel this restaurant fills up every night.
We had an amazing dinner at Elways! One of our best meals in the past few years. Shrimp coctail was incredible with dry ice presentation, and so large I cut them and ate with a fork like they were filet mignon themselves. Our server was great, but perhaps a bit scripted and overly formal. Overall a great experience!
It’s an expensive place to eat. I’ve enjoyed dining in previous experiences but this time portions seemed quite small and the steak was tender but lacked flavor. The wine was fantastic but everything was a bit overpriced. Our meal and wine for 4 adults was nearly $900.00. So patrons just note Elway’s ain’t cheap. In previous times it was well worth the experience. So I’d say 3 out of 4 times was excellent... service is fantastic.
Everything was great except the accuracy of several items in our order.
