My grandma Eloisa Rivera was the first person to teach me how to cook. Indeed, women have always formed the foundation of New Mexico’s culinary heritage. Abuelas. Madres. Tias. Hermanas. Their hearts and their hands have been in every dish associated with New Mexico. Among the world’s great cuisines, New Mexican cooking is undoubtedly the most elemental. Fiery chiles. Earthy beans. Ethereal corn. Celestial water from the acequias that irrigate the ranchos. Our cocina celebrates Grandma Eloisa, all Southwestern women, and their satisfying, down-to-earth foods.

Great waiter. Wonderful experience. Memorable!
Dinner with friends in town. They really enjoyed the food and the guitar player.
Best steak I’ve enjoyed, exceptional. Our waitress was extremely organized, professional, timely, and simply lovely. The overall entire meal was outstanding. The only comment I might provide is that the two-person tables are too close in proximity. It was difficult to hear my dining partner due to surrounding conversations. Maybe a little more space between them? Otherwise, exceptional without question. Many thanks for the experience, look forward to returning.
Had the Georgia O’Keefe tasting menu with wine pairing. Food was great, wines well chosen, and narration fun. Outstanding.
Great food, ambience, and service. Live music added and an excellent touch. Very accommodating on request- reserved a high top, but requested booth once there. Outside patio has a great walled fireplace. Overall yummy and cozy for any occasion.
This was a fantastic place. The food and service were top-notch. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I am in Santa Fe!
Excellent food choices- very creative menu. Service was about as good as it gets. Our server knew the menu inside out and gave valuable input based on our likes and dislikes
Innovative food, very professional and warm service, great atmosphere. Interesting drinks as well, loved the sherry flight!
Pueblo meets Western here. Nice combo of small plates. Blue Corn, posole, burritos....but Venison and all kinds of meats to satisfy any carnivore. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Yummy craft cocktails and a wide array of wines to choose from. Service was great and this was one of our highlight meals which is saying something given the Santa Fe restaurant scene these days.
Superb tasting, creative cuisine offset by very crowded and noisy room, mediocre service and loud, poorly performed Mexican music. Zero mmbience for meal for two costing nearly $100.
The TV screens are distracting. Did the tasting with wine menu and we ordered drinks which came but then the first course with a wine pairing came too. Odd and not right for a restaurant charging these kinds of prices. First course wasn’t good but mains and dessert were good. So a mixed bag.
Small plates were big and delicious. Large choices of wine. Dessert was the best. Very busy but service was good.
Lovely restaurant with innovative food. Service was excellent throughout and the atmosphere was great. It’s lively without being loud.
One of the BEST meals we had in Santa Fe. Everything was perfect... the service, the food the ambiance. Would highly recommend it to to anyone looking for a great take on New Mexican food. The dessert too was different and delicious!!
Love their selection of street tacos and their sweet potato fries are the best! Great outside space.
It was okay. Our waiter was not friendly or informative at all. I heard the waitress talking to a table next to us and wish we had gotten her instead. Electronic “art” on wall was very distracting and annoying. We asked for the same coffee drinks that a table near us ordered and ours came out drastically different.
Very enjoyable experience. The food was flavorful yet not overdone. Service was great. Will come back.
One if the best meals I have had in a long time. We were visiting Santa Fe from out of town and where unbelievably impressed with Eloisa. Food was amazing. Loved the open kitchen. Service was fabulous as well. Our ONLY complaint was that they do not seem to keep any of their champagne chilled. We were celebrating 20 years of friendship and were bummed at our first sip of warm champagne.
The food was not bad. The wine was the perfect temperature for red. But Eloisa was simply overpriced for the value received. Of course, that may be just because of the location so close to the Santa Fe Plaza but, still, it was too much. The server was OK, probably close to 20% but not quite. One other negative is that the restaurant has a dress recommendation of smart casual, DEFINITELY not the attire of those dining when we were. If you're staying in the Drury Plaza, sure, eat there. But, I don't recommend making a special trip.
Setting outside is excellent. Inside is a little like a cafeteria. Outside makes a big difference. Service excellent and food work the visit
I thought it was a good spot. They didn't get one of my requests rights which was okay, but they brought in a food tour right next to our table and it was too loud. The group leader was then talking loudly to the large group. They need to put them in another room!!
Food was excellent! The Mango Creme Brulee was outstanding as was the squash blossom appetizer. However, the hostess was very unpleasant. When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant. When I asked for a different table she said they were reserved. Finally, after four requests, she said "whatever" to table number five. The other tables we requested were NEVER occupied. Again, while the wait staff was great and we enjoyed the food and ambience, her lack of service sort of put a damper on the evening.
The shellfish stew was absolutely delicious, also enjoyed the calamari special
Service was way less than attentive.
Very good meal. The service was beyond excellent.
Food was inventive and delicious. Fabulous take on Frito Pie, tamales - and the desserts were exquisite. Our wait staff was very attentive and friendly.
Consistently delicious, creative, and inspired food. And excellent service time and again. Thank you.
Excellent service and wonderful food! This is a great place for lunch near The Plaza.
We were seated outside near the fire and there were six of us. Food was excellent, unusual and imaginative. Service was 1st class. We all had a great time.
This was our first time at Eloisa, but it will definitely not be the last. The cocktails were exceptional, the menu extensive and varied, whether you were looking for a full blown dinner or for a collection of small plates to accompany the cocktails. The most outstanding aspect of the evening was the absolutely amazing level of service from the staff. She was knowledgeable about drinks, wines, and food and attentive without being intrusive. She was definitely a key component in what turned out to be a wonderful dining experience.
Nice evening but nothing special about food or service.
We live in Santa Fe. We go to this place often. We just learned that wine is half priced all day on Mondays. That a great deal. We have always been happy with our meals at Eloisa's. Dog friendly on the patio.
This second visit was not as impressive as our first visit last August.
We had a wonderful dinner at Eloisa's. Loved the calamari, lemon chicken and the scallops. Also enjoyed the bread with chipotle butter. The open kitchen was nice and the service was great. Wine list was a little pricey.
Recommended by our daughter. Wonderful food and service. Only negative was that the hostess wouldn’t seat us at one of several booths requested, even though they remained empty the entire time we were there! All of our food was outstanding, and the service was great!
Service was very, very slow, and this was not a busy night. One person in our party had to remind the waiter that she had ordered a beer three times before it was brought to the table. We were three 2.5 hours, had no desserts and no appetizers.
Some of the best food we had in Santa Fe. Found the dishes innovative, tasty and great presentation. There were many waiting on us and all did a great job. Jude P was the main waiter and he was responsive and attentive
We always love Eloisa from Brunch to dinner to Sitting at the bar for a berger. An all around fine dining experience.
This wonderful restaurant never disappoints. The staff is fabulous and the food divine and brunch in the morning on the patio is perfect. This gem in Santa Fe is not to be missed. Be sure to have the tortillas with marmalade!!!
