Love the new afternoon tea experience at Elm! So clever and well executed, from the tea blends and champagne selections, to the sweet and savory tea sandwiches, scones and macarons. 😍

FABULOUS experience... in fact we went back two days later for the same fare....the Lobster Cobb Salad which is a winner!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great to see one of our favourites busy again. Great food with their classics plus some new additions on the menu complemented by great cocktails and service. We need to treasure this place.

Menu changed for the good. Added shareable plates that appeal to variety of appetites. Our friend group shared Brussels sprout pizza and grilled gem salad. Both delicious and good twists on traditional pizza & Caesar. Also went with both truffle items. The truffle Mac & cheese was worth it. My friends loved the truffle fries also. Will go again.

Really excellently prepared meals. We felt very safe, they take Covid distancing seriously. We had not been out to eat since the summer, we are really glad we chose Elm.

Took a friend out for birthday lunch outside and enjoyed good oysters on the halfshell, a good glass of Sancerre, and the best Lobster Roll around. A cappuccino made it a perfect lunch! Attentive and friendly service!

Just had an amazing experience at The Elm! We went in for tea time which was paired with a light meal composed of three course of tea sandwiches savories - including a mini lobster role :) , with scones cream and jam, and ending with sweet pastries. Everything is bite-sized and eaten with fingers. The presentation was a perfect setting for the palette along with an extensive list of herbal , green and black teas. Will become a favorite part of our day.

Always a great dining experience at elm! Staff is friendly and attentive. They are super safe during COVID with plexiglass dividers between the tables. They are done so well you don’t notice they are there. Great overall experience!!!

Outstanding Brunch!!

Another superb brunch at Elm! I literally live for the tuna tartare here, along with the lobster cobb. Outside dining with heat lamps feels extra cozy and there's a pumpkin pasta carbonara situation on the menu now that's basically life-changing. Can't wait to go back!

We just moved to New Canaan from Paris, France, and have enjoyed visiting the Elm now a couple of times. I LOVE the Chicken Tandoori foie gras and the cheddar roles. The service has been great and we will come here again!

I’ve never had a bad experience at elm but this past visit was exceptional. The service was excellent, everything was super super clean including the restroom (comforting in times of covid), and the food was wonderful as always. There was a falafel appetizer that (I think) was new on the menu and it was so good! Always look forward to going back.

Modern american food with a nod to favorites such as truffle fries and burgers.

Lunch outside at Elm was wonderful. The omelet and hashbrowns were absolutely delicious. Also, the summer salad was great. I would definitely come back.

Consistently great because the chef and staff are so good (their classics/regular items are excellent but they are flexible and ingenious and always have a few newer items) and the wait staff and bussers are extremely capable and knowledgeable.

Had the Caesar salad and ribs - delicious!

Covered patio very comfortable, tables well spaced, most of the food delicious. We liked the BLT, eggs Benedict, Bloody Mary. The pork hash was disappointing, not much flavor and no potatoes.
