Everything was perfect, as usual. Perfect place to meet with clients.
Seems this restaurant has seen better days. First impression for recent brunch was a dirty glass and a dirty knife on the table. Also one of the chairs had a loose arm. Service was okay, but not up to par with the likes of the Four Seasons or really any upscale restaurant. Food was okay, but not anything to write home about. Probably won’t go back because for $60+ a person, I want to be excited to go - which I wouldn’t be. This restaurant was pretty underwhelming.
If you’re looking for an excellent and traditional Sunday Brunch this is the only place to go in Denver.
We ate at the Sunday Brunch at Ellyngton's. Our food was awesome. There is a great selection of cold and hot items. The made to order omelets are perfect and the prime rib tasted great. Our waiter was Dustin and he did a great job of always making sure our cups were full and dirty plates removed. He even brought us a hot syrup with our waffles. We were celebrating a birthday and he made sure we had a wonderful time. Thank you.
It is always a pleasure to dine in Ellyngton’s. One is greeted b the staff the moment you arrive. Service is the best and food far above other downtown restaurants.
I would never think of a business meal anywhere else than Ellynton’s (or any meal for that matter).
I was amazed at the elegance and professional staff. What a beautiful way to start the day .
Not as good as the Sunday brunch at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, but pretty good. Less expensive than the Broadmoor by a few bucks. My wife and I still enjoyed the brunch very much, just can't give it a full 5-stars.
We took my boss to lunch to celebrate her promotion. We enjoyed the food, dessert, service, and atmosphere. The food was delicious! I will definitely pick Ellyngton's for lunch in the future!
Terrific venue in Downtown Denver at the Brown. Food was awesome, service was great, and environment was special. I was able to have a conversation with client.
My 83-year old mother was looking for a nice brunch to celebrate her birthday. I found the Brown Palace Champagne brunch online and made reservations. I am so glad I did! It was absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing and there were so many delicious options. Very classy and elegant and the service was top-tier! If you are looking for a special place to celebrate, or just enjoy a fantastic meal and ambiance, I would highly recommend the champagne brunch at the beautiful Brown Palace!
Best breakfast buffet I've been to. Excellent food and service. Dessert bar was impressive!
The atmosphere is outstanding but for the price of the food it wasn’t anything to write home about. The pancakes are significantly better at IHOP (unfortunately)and the buffet lacked quality food as well.
One of the better brunches I’ve been to. Ambiance in fantastic given the historic backdrop of the Brown Palace Hotel. Food is spot on and service is on point.
Service was awesome and Ellyngton’s was able to accommodate a special request. They are the best!
The service and staff were attentive and pleasant. The ham and hash browns for breakfast were over-cooked - disappointing. Other than that, we like to visit the Brown Palace periodically for meals.
Excellent service and food. Our friends were very impressed.
Ellyngton's brunch is always special for our family. The diversity of food, the old-world ambiance, the live music. It's a unique experience worth having.
Unique experience, amazing food in one of Denver's historical landmarks.
The service was outstanding and the food was amazing.
Roses on the table, champagne, cupcakes with a candle and every delicacy imaginable made for a perfect birthday celebration.
The decor is a bit dated and the buffet options are not huge, but the food served was outstanding. Prime rib cooked perfectly medium rare and the clams on the half shell were awesome. It’s pricy but worth it for the live music + delish food. We’ll be back
My wife and I celebrated my birthday with lunch. Everyone was so accommodating and gracious.
The food is great the the whole experience is worth it.
Best brunch I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back!
Food was amazing. Our table was in a corner where it was extremely warm. Beyond that, it was great!
This is an excellent brunch and worth every dollar. The live music was unexpected and a total bonus to the brunch .
The food and entertainment were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch there and would suggest to anyone!
Great food. Lots of variety. Everything was great. Real old school experience.
We enjoyed Ellynton's. The service and food were very good. It was very noisy. Mainly because
there were kids running around yelling. There is not much that Ellynton's can do about that. This
is a parenting issue.
Top 5 meal I’ve ever had and Ed our server was on point!
If you're looking for a traditional Sunday brunch buffet in the heart of downtown Denver, this is the place. "Ellyngton's" is just off the lobby in the historic Brown Palace Hotel, and the ambiance and old-world charm are what you would expect in such a setting. We are particular fans of the delightful jazz trio that plays throughout the morning, and as repeat patrons, we will definitely return again. Diverse food offerings, omelette bar, Rack of Lamb was so tender I could cut with a spoon, and the dessert section (with Bananas Foster made to order !) is simply divine. They valet park (HUGE bonus downtown), and everything is just right. Always make a special visit during the holidays, as the lobby is fancied up like a sugarplum fairy dreamscape, the lights and trees are stunning. Thumbs up :)
The food and atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!
The music was wonderful and added to the ambiance. The food was outstanding so make sure to be hungry when you arrive.
Yes made this reservation to dine with some dear friends who were visiting from out of state. My group was quite disappointed with the lack of attention given to our table from the moment we were seated. Not one server addressed us at all...not even to take our drink order. After approximately 20 minutes one of us actually had to get out of our seat to go seek a server for some attention. We asked for coffee at least 3 times before we had to once again get out of our seats to seek some attention. The entire dining experience was deflated with the continuance of this lack of service the entire time. Very disappointing experience!
Danny Showers was as fabulous as always. We went to the Brown Palace to enjoy another anniversary and as long as he is there we will continue to go.
They were clearly short staffed, so the buffet stations weren't getting refilled and the table service was off a tick from the usual.
For the historical experience’s sake, yes I would recommend. However, the food could be better. The clams were still half frozen, oysters were tasteless, shrimps robbery. We did enjoy the prime rib and hot chocolate. Service was great, we liked our server, Keith, and we enjoyed the jazz band.
Perfect ambiance food and service
