Great location. Great seafood especially the oyster selection. First class service.
Really great spot for an evening date or special occasion with a group. All staff was knowledgeable of the locally sourced oysters and the flavors of each. The mussels were superb with great flavor. The "Celebration" platter was a very well-prepared sample of all things seafood on it. Highly recommend those dishes and the restaurant!
Flawless! We had a wonderful meal! And I don't even like seafood!
The lunchtime food -- crab cakes as an appetizer, fish and chips for me, salmon for my companion, and the most decadent chocolate cake for dessert -- was excellent, as was the service. The sun broke through while we were eating, and there are few places that are more picturesque when the sun is out. It was surprising, however, how few people were there -- I would have expected a full house given the season. Perhaps that will change as summer draws closer.
We drove from Boise, Idaho to eat at Elliott's! It far exceeded all our expectations. We posted pictures on our Facebook so our friends could enjoy also. The Oysters & Crab & Calamari & chowder were all unbelievable. We tried to eat it all!
Excellent potato bread. Nice location.
Really good! A little pricey for the food but it’s touristy so
Great food but a little pricey. Also great service!
Excellent Chowder, mussels and oysters. Extensive seafood menu. Very good, but pricey.
The restaurant is in a very nice place right on the water. You see the ferries and the Argosy boats leaving from the patio areas. The food is also very good, haha. The server was excellent and very attentive and very accommodating to food changes (instead of smoked salmon, use grilled salmon instead in their pasta dish.)
Great place for seafood in Seattle!
The French fries were cold, fish tacos had too much seasoning and the seafood salad seafood was undercooked.
Our server was fantastic. Sitting outside with great relaxed but attentive service, not feeling rushed on a busy day like Mothers Day. But Elliott's is getting really expensive, even by soaring Seattle standards. Coming to the waterfront to dine is increasingly a hassle and will be for the next five years. They should consider pricing and margins to keep people coming.
Cool spot on the water but seafood left something to be desired.
I was so disappointed in Elliott's Oyster House. Honestly, the food wasn't very good. My scallops were chewy and overcooked, and everything was overpriced for what you actually get. I thought they would at least be able to cook seafood well! Also, our server "reminded" us to tip based on the amount before our giftcard as if to assume we wouldn't. It embarrassed me that she would assume I don't know how to tip servers. I may be young, but I tip very well if given the chance, no need to insult me.
Ate outdoors amid lots of boat activity. Fun to watch. Touristy but worth the visit. It was our first trip to Seattle. We enjoyed the early dinner, service, food and setting, and the location. Would go back!
Service was excellent!!!! Our waiter did an excellent job I forget his name but he had the most beautiful multicolored eyes. I think his name might have been Matt he had dark hair medium height and a 5 o'clock shadow. He was excellent and attended to our needs. He needs a raise!
Family in town together for a visit. We actually ate here for two lunches and one dinner during the long weekend. We can now say with confidence that it was only ok. At first we thought we didn’t order well. Cocktails were weak. Fish dishes were dry, appetizers didn’t have much taste. (Fried calamari, salmon artichoke dip). The biggest disappointment each time was the oyster platter. we ordered a dozen and asked only for the most plump meaty oysters. Each time we got the exact same sampler with some very small oysters as part of the selection. So it wasn’t custom to our tastes at all.
Anyway, we went for the location and the fact that it was open for lunch. It’s an iconic place. We felt they could do more with what they have and the prices they charge.
Asked for salmon medium well done. Actual was quite rare. Service was slow even though few people were in the restaurant
Elliott's is a Seattle standard. If someone is visiting town and wants great seafood in an upscale setting. Elliott's is the place to go.
Out of town guesrs
Whenever I visit Seattle I try to fit in a meal at Elliott's. This trip was with 3 colleagues who had not been there before and as one of them remarked..."for the first 5 minutes after the food arrived, there wasn't a sound". As everyone was enjoying their meal so much. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable.
We had to wait
25 minutes for the table despite our reservations. The food was very tasty but expensive. $200 dollars for 2 not including drinks and desert. Maybe splurge for a special occasion only
The staff was amazing! They gave great advise on what to order and had a great selection of drinks. From the manager coming around to multiple people helping I would definitely come back if I ever have the chance.
The oysters on the half shell were excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the species and quality of the choices on the evening. The specials of Puget Sound Halibut and king salmon were cooked properly and tasted very good. The Albariño wine offered was good and priced reasonably, but not the very best. Service was attentive and friendly.
Great early dinner on our last night in Seattle. Fantastic seafood as you might expect - I particularly enjoyed the selection of oysters prepared for me.
The food and service were all very good. The seafood was exceptionally fresh. Cozy interior with the option of dining on the pier.
Enrique and Cheryl are best servers. View is great
This was a business meeting dinner with a technical engineer from Italy and a senior technical engineer from Austin, TX.
I brought these guys here to celebrate winning a nice project.
I love Elliot’s but this night they must have been quite busy because the Service was very slow and poor.
We waited 15 minutes just to get water. Then another 10 to get asked what we wanted to drink.
I finally ordered 2 dozen oysters and Dungeness crab cocktail - that took nearly another 30 minutes.
It was a long week leading up to what was supposed to be a celebration and it felt more like a tedious, arduous marathon.
Ordered the Red King crab, scallops and prawn dinners - again took way too long to be served.
My Sauvignon Blanc was empty two times nearly 20 minutes each time.
For paying nearly $500 for a meal for three gentlemen, with only one drinking alcohol - the value was poor.
I’m quite sure I won’t be coming back for a special occasion again.
I’ll stick to the Met or El Gaucho where the service is always impeccable.
excellent food and service, on the water and as a first time visitor to Seattle this was what I was looking for
Fantastic menu with good variety of surf and turf foods. Great location and ambiance. The service was perfect. Our waiter, Anthony, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Could improve with regards to accommodating diet restrictions/allergies better but overall, can't miss!
Soup was cool not warm. Scallops were too rare on several dishes. No follow up service once food came. No water no “how is it”.
A really memorable meal!
Have been coming here for years and still great! Glad to leave a review it’s been amazing and is a must when you are in Seattle
Lovely food, just not worth the money. I would have paid $100 for this meal and felt good about it, but the bill was double that. Won't be back.
Best oysters I’ve ever had. Server did a great job of selecting them for us.
The service was excellent and the staff very knowledgeable on the choice of wine and the origins of the oysters and seafood offered, all of which tasted delicious.
The food was average, the presentation of the dish was bad and the service was too slow...I expected a lot more for $$ place and trust me i don't mind paying $180 for food but i expect the presentation service and food to be good if not excellent!
Chelsea was an amazing server. When she found out we were tourists, she asked if we needed any help with activity suggestions.
