Service was great, seafood always very fresh and
Food was great. Oysters were delicious. It was unique how they come from so many different areas.
this was the first time we had gone to a restaurant in a year. we ordered a dozen oysters which smelled and tasted fresh. my wife had the halibut and i had the seafood pasta. we both felt sick at home. i shat my brains out till 4 in the morning. mine was way worse which leads me to believe it was the seafood pasta.
The food was awful the fish was not fresh you can taste that it was previously frozen but my waitress was awesome she was really funny and very interactive
Elliot’s oyster house was perfect for our anniversary lunch. The oysters were fresh and decadent. Our main course entrees were magnificent. The creme brûlée at the end was a really nice touch. Thank you!!
I was celebrating my 4th anniversary and the restaurant made it extra special for us and the food was so good. We will be back EOH.
Service and food was absolutely excellent. Thank you.
The crab was just okay and a little overcooked. Soups not super. The server was great, but we were told before entering that we had a hard 1.5-hour service limit to start the next group. Don’t do that.
My first visit. The food was fantastic, the service exceptional, the ambiance and views spectacular, and the prices were a pleasant surprise. I'm going back to try the rest of the menu as soon as I can. Yum!
Kelly our server was awesome and made our special occasion even more special. The oysters were delicious and everyone was ordering them by the dozen. The chocolate sauce on the chocolate cheesecake was so delicious I want to order it to have it on hand in our home.
Elliott's had been my go to restaurant for business meetings and family dinners pre-COVID but this was the first time I came back since the COVID outbreak last spring. They have done a great job creating a safe and inviting outdoor seating and service was great as usual. I look forward to their full opening, hopefully this summer.
Excellent food and I cannot say enough about our waiter, Tom. Amazing guy, super accommodating and helpful. Will definitely come back!
Great table out on the deck on a sunny evening.
A seafood lover's dream! The oysters came with a wonderful presentation by our server, Craig and a sign identifying them as well. The oysters tasted great, especially with the mignonette that accompanied them. Great scallops and risotto. Good wine list and cocktails. Sit outside if you can. The view is breathtaking.
Let me start with both the service and the food were excellent. If you like raw oysters and mussels, I highly recommend them both. The only thing you should be aware of before you go is the 20% service charge that is added onto every order, regardless of the number of people in your party. You also have to pay tax on the 20%. None of the 20% is paid as a tip to your wait person. our bill started at $117 & after taxes, the service charge and the tax on that it was almost $157, before we left a tip.
Our waiter David was awesome and always smiling. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He answered all our questions. He deserves a raise and bonus. thanks
Overall, the food was great. However, the service was subpar for a higher end restaurant.
We waiting about 10 min to be sat even though I had reservations and then another 15 min just to be helped due to a miscommunication. We had our apps and oysters and waited another 15-20 after we were done with our first course to put in our entrees. The wait was ridiculous for a place that charges a 20% service fee upfront. Our bill for 4 people was well over $300, I definitely think you’re better off going somewhere else. Don’t spend the money here, not worth it.
Atmosphere was excellent. Ask for Andy he’s amazing and all you need. Cheers!
The food was great!
Tips is up to the customer. Not you!!! We have 4 people and you automatically added 25% service charge . Why??? We did not ask you to provide service. You have service because you wish to provide a good service to the customer. So, let customer have their freedom of grade you. You just steal that act and do it for us. Not Kool and not a good business! This is greediness!
Service was good. Food was fantastic. We will come back
Eat here often and for over 30 years. Glad they are back open
Good place for a quiet dinner. Clams were good and crab cakes were amazing.
Excellent food and waterfront outdoor dining experience
Beautiful view, great service, terrible value. A dozen oysters came with a single lemon slice and a single (distasteful) topping at $4 per oyster.
Charges a 20% surcharge. Other than it’s really good food. Server knees a lot about the latest seafood
So, I have dined from coast to coast and also overseas at a bunch of places. I've also been a pescatarian for over 15 years. This place is special, can't wait to return! Good thing I only live a few blocks away ;)
The overall experience was great
Loved it. Not the best seafood I’ve had in my life but it’s up there with some heavy hitters. I’d definitely come here whenever I’m in Seattle.
The food was terrible, and I will not go back. Salmon was $43 and way overcooked; it felt like something I might be pleased with for $5.99 at K&W Cafeteria. There are much, much better seafood restaurants in Seattle for the money. This was very disappointing.
I came to Elliott's Oyster House to treat my sister for her big promotion. Both her and my father were visiting from California. I have had good experiences in the past and was previously one of the venues I would bring guests visiting Seattle to for seafood downtown. Unfortunately, our waitress did not seem like she was having a good evening (although, it was not busy at the time we were there) and was fairly rude. Including when she seemed upset that our whole party was not there at the same time. We still were ordering drinks and food. The service was mediocre and we did not feel very welcomed there. I would not bring guests to spend over $300.00 for that level of service. Very disappointed.
If you just want oysters - raw shucked oysters- go here. But all three of our entrees were mediocre. Salmon, steak, and scallops. The vegetables served on the side might as well have been from the frozen aisle at the grocery store. I couldn’t eat them. Tough and flavorless. I can only base service on the waitress we had. While friendly, she was better suited for a diner than fine dining. We enjoyed our seats on the deck. Again, good job on the oysters but the rest was a disappointment.
Birthday experience. Our server was absolutely amazing!!
1.5 dinning limit .?! I am not sure is the state regulation or what. 10min to check out menu another 5 to order drinks 20 min appetizers arrived another 20 for main entree that’s almost an hour that leaves us 30 min to enjoy meal n dessert ?
Amazing upscale eating. Professional and fun waiter. Very delicious in every respect.
I have visited Elliotts many times over the years as I travel to Seattle. Although pricey, the food has always been very good. Four of us ate at Elliott's Saturday April 17th, the food was mediocore at best. Then to top it off, the 20% surcharge is very confusing. The explaination on the menu makes it kind of sound like the servers get some of the 20% surcharge and the company keeps some. When receiving the bill for dinner the way the 20% surcharge is explained, you get the impression the server's get none of the 20% surcharge and the compamy keeps it all. Our server was good so I tipped him 20%. After picking up the ticket, the server informed me that there was already the 20% surcharge on the meal. I told him the explaination for the surcharge was very confusing and I asked him how much of the surchage he received, he said half. At that point I just said keep the tip, rather than have him re-run the ticket. So I paid a 40% tip, on a bad meal of which the server, who did a good job, received 30%.
I have no issue with mandatory tips for servers as I always pay 20% or more, unless the service is bad. I completely understand how hard servers have been hit financially due to Covid and I am more than willing to do my part help out. My suggestion is, Elliott's needs to re-write the 20% surcharge to simply say that it is a mandatory 20% tip on all meals.
Andy is a really great waiter. One of our favorite places to grab a meal in downtown Seattle.
We had family in town and we so enjoyed the delicious food at Elliotts. Also our waiter was so informative and very nice.
Sat outside! It was beautiful. Had an amazing waitress who was funny and gave great recommendations! Can’t wait to return!!
