We were visiting Seattle for my birthday and we LOVE oysters. This place did not disappoint. My husband selected 6 different ones and I had the Rockefeller. Yum! We moved on to the entrees; crab legs and lobster! Again, yum! Our server was great and very knowledgeable! I wish we could remember his name. We were on the right side in the very last booth if that helps. He brought a cheesecake for my birthday dessert, that was taken care of.
If I could leave any criticism, it would be for the lead hostess. She made no eye contact and seemed very robotic. They bathrooms were also a mess.
Great restaurant and great food!
Best grilled lobster we ever had!!! Would definitely come back!
Fantastic food and service! The oyster menu was very impressive- we enjoyed the individual pricing, it was easy to select a variety and as many as we wanted. Our dishes were very fresh and flavorful- perfect meal overlooking the water!
We just had an excellent time here. The food was very good, the drinks were good. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. A very good place for a special mean.
We always love the food here. This time the service could have been a little better, my order was delivered wrong and then he waited too long to check on us when my steak was not cooked the way I wanted . Other then that everything was great. You have to try their version of oysters rockerfeller, to die for.
Raw Oyster platter fabulous! We let the waitress choose and she did not disappoint! Great chowder & fresh fish.
We’ve been going here for years and it’s one of our go-to places to takes friends who want the overall experience of really great seafood with the atmosphere of the Seattle Waterfront and we’ve always had great service.
We had a fabulous dinner here tonight! The service was excellent - Dohlui was our server and she was really sweet and knowledgeable about the food.
Excellent, friendly service. The "appetizer" of mussels in Thai chili broth was more than enough for an entree for me, and it was delicious. Coupled with a perfectly-seasoned Caesar salad, it made a very satisfying meal. The planked salmon and the halibut others at the table ordered were also delicious. The restaurant is in a great location. It does get pretty loud as it fills up. It would be wonderful if they offered a crusty French or sourdough bread with meals, rather than (soft) potato bread, for which there is an extra charge.
Wonderful restaurant with great food and excellent waite staff. Long time servers that we have enjoyed over the years. We have been season ticket holders at the 5th Avenue theater for over 20 years and we enjoyed making Elliott's a part of our evening, but they did away with the VIP program and they no longer participate in the discount dinner so sadly we won't be able to continue our tradition. I am sad.
Great local seafood restaurant. Good ambience, service and food. Recommended for locals and tourists.
Great place to see both the sunset and enjoy delicious food, especially if you love seafood.
It is a bit pricey but delicious. My pan seared halibut was to die for.
Was looking for a nice seafood dinner while in town on vacation. Thought the menu, location, and reviews for Elliott's looked good. The food was completely average - nothing was that great and taste was a little bland. Service was great and location is also good, but overall experience is average. Would not recommend if you're looking for an upscale/nicer dinner.
Elliott's is a solid restaurant with generally good food and an extensive wine list. It's located in a convenient spot on the water and they have great oyster selections. We shared oyster shooters and I ordered a grilled halibut dish and my guest ordered coho salmon. Oysters were good and my guest loved his salmon dish but I wasn't too impressed with the halibut dish. No notable flavor and sauce was nothing to write home about. When I made a reservation, I asked for a nice spot in the restaurant because I was taking a very important out-of-town business guest to the restaurant but they placed us next to their service station though there were some seats available on the waterfront. Service was good but I wished it were a nicer experience for me and for my guest.
Very popular spot but some of our dishes were "just ok" the mushroom parpardalle wasn't favorable as it appeared to be and another party member didn't like how the halibut was seasoned.
The food was absolutely amazing! One of the best seafood meals I have ever had! Great service with expert knowledge of the menu.
Had a fantastic waiter...He helped in recommending different oysters for an appetizer. Friendly, helpful attitude. Nowadays....most restaurants are too noisy....guess it is something you just have to deal with...but difficult to have a conversation...wihout raising your voice. Great food and scenery.
My family enjoyed their crab and lobster dinners immensely...they living in Alberta and do not get fresh seafood! They also loved being right out on the water!
We had a fabulous time at Elliott's Oyster House. The service was outstanding. Amberlie (pretty sure that was her name, hope I spelled it right) was attentive, professional and friendly. She was very helpful in answering questions about the menu and providing recommendations, while also allowing us to have a relaxing, enjoyable night out celebrating my fiancees 30th birthday. The food was delicious. Of course, you have to try the oysters, but the crab and shrimp dip was equally excellent, as was the coho salmon we had for dinner. We are just visiting from out of town, but we would highly recommend Elliott's, and we will be sure to come back next time we are in Seattle!
Great service, nice menu selection. Mussels were fresh and with the Thai seasoning very tasty. Grilled scallops with risotto was excellent and the seafood in the Cioppino so plentiful. Wish we had room left for dessert!! Atmosphere was relaxed and casual but elegant. Definitely will be back again.
The food, the service, the happy hour value were such a combination of perfection!
Everything was great - raw oyster selection was excellent, crab cakes were fresh, specials were extremely delicious, cioppino was wonderful, and the panna cotta dessert was perfect!!
Our waiter was extremely friendly and efficient. The desserts were yummy.
My sisters enjoyed their meals. I ordered the Bering Sea crab legs. They were over cooked and cool almost cold. I didn't think they were worth the price. Our table, number 69, was in the very back so view was the staff delivering dirty dishes and the stack of dish washer trays.
Very nice waterfront dining experience. The seafood was fresh and nicely prepared. Our server made us feel welcome and provided good advice. We requested a waterfront table and they were able to accommodate us. The view was pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Food was so-so. Service was so-so. Wait staff heard complaining about guests. Not great.
Excellent service and an expansive menu made for a delightful dining experience.
It was a great experience to have lunch at the restaurant.
It was quite reasonable price and wonderful dishes. Also, staffs are amazing.
I really want to visit again. I super super recommend this restaurant.
This is our 3rd time at Elliot's. Coming from Vegas for seafood weekends! Love the Oysters! and everything else we ordered. Tom has been our server twice and is one of the best waiters we've had anywhere in our dining experiences. From here on out we will request him specifically and hopefully it will be granted. His service is outstanding. We'll be back next time we're in Seattle.
Tom was awesome in Service and follow-through! Give the guy a RAISE!
Halibut was delicious. Ate on the patio & enjoyed the sunset
Our waiter was great. I loved the way he described the food to us. The food was amazing...every bite! We don't usually eat dessert but it was my boyfriend's birthday so we thought we'd splurge. We shared the carmel panna cotta. One of the best desserts I've ever had. The sun set as we were eating outside. It was the perfect atmosphere for a birthday date. We will definitely be going again.
William was a wonderful server
Not a place to take a first (or second) date. Restaurants objective seemed to be to hurry people along. Very crowded with wait staff running around as if they were being time-studied. Calamari was ordered to be served hot (or at least warm) and neither was the case.
Best crab cakes and oysters rockerfellas! You should make reservations in advance.
We went there for our anniversary and have a lovely time! The items we ordered that we love were the steak salad, mushroom strudel. Clam chowder was tasty but had too many potatoes. The crab and shrimp dip I didn't care for I didn't feel like I could taste the fish. The service was impeccable. Would definitely go again.
I took my family here for my mom's birthday and parent's wedding anniversary dinner. We didn't order any oysters but we really enjoyed the shrimp & crab dip, cioppinno, halibut and prawns. The ambiance was great and a good noise level to hold a lively conversation. The seating by the window was a bit drafty. But overall the seafood was very good quality and we came specifically to try the cioppinno, which included scallops, dungenous crab and a hearty helping of clams and mussels. The service was good and value was great. Would come back again and recommend to friends.
Excellent food and cocktails. Oysters were great too with lots of variety. Service was excellent. It’s not cheap but for a special occasion or a nice date you can hardly beat it.
Great recommendations on raw oysters to try -super fresh and not gritty at all.
Food was average but is priced quite high. Chili lime prawns were overcooked and stringy. Scallops were ok. Crab cake appetizer was mediocre and Dungeness crab wad just ok. For the price, it should have been better executed. Our server was good. Table outside was nice.
Every time my wife and I visit Seattle, Elliott’s is our must have. The service is always great and the food is consistently good.
