Elliott's Oyster House Ratings and Reviews
The AC was on way too high and our meals were cold within minutes, for such a nice restaurant it felt weird that so many people were there in extremely casual clothing. Our waiter was great and very nice and overall we had a good time but not sure if we will go back for anything other than oysters
Even though it was New Years Eve and we and many others were coming directly from a SeaHawks game our table was ready and waiting for us. Our waiter was great not overly pushy but helpful, knowledgeable about menu items and never hurried us even though they were busy. The food was delicious. The only fault was we sat by the windows and it was drafty. But that was easily resolved by adding a coat over my shoulders.
Dined for lunch at opening (11 AM) on a quiet Saturday morning for two. Started out with my server’s recommendation for oysters: Elliot’s select, kusshi, shigoku, and taylor kumo. I personally liked kusshi the best but all of the oysters were fresh. Afterwards, had the Elliot Bay Burger (Kobe beef), which was delicious and cooked medium rare. Overall, the server, atmosphere, were top-notch. Will definitely have to eat dinner outside on a warmer Seattle night one of these days!
Has a real nice atmosphere right by the waterfront...outstanding service, food was terrific! The Oysters are to die for!!
Overall Highly recommended...the only thing I was disappointed with was the Calamari which was very ‘crackly’ - not enough Calamari, too much batter!
Terrific! We arrived on Thursday for a visit to Seattle and had a fabulous dinner at Elliott’s . It was so good that we changed our previous plans and went back again on Saturday and ate at the Bar! If you like generous portions of fresh fish, prepared perfectly with tasty sauces and accompaniments , then this is the place to go. Great Bar too....selections are top shelf . People are friendly and everything was served by a very , very welcoming and pleasant staff!
Food quality was poor. Salmon was overcooked. Prawns on polenta were terrible. Prawns were overcooked, hard a like rubber. Polenta looked and tasted like it had been plated hours earlier. Prawn dish was sent back and removed from the bill. Server was very good, food quality not his fault.
We went out Christmas Eve for a nice seafood dinner. The raw oysters were fine, but that's where the food went downhill. A really disappointing meal for three people and it was $275 plus tip. The specials were awful and they were not warm. Don't feel like we will be going back any time soon.
With our reservation we were seated promptly. Server was cheery, efficient. Food was delicious, especially the huge side order of garlic mashed potatoes, which I paired with the crab cake appetizer as my entree. Along with my salad it was plenty and I'm a big eater. Artichoke crab dip appetizer was excellent as well.
Bartenders are knowledgeable and quick to offer one of a kind suggestions. Definitely worth coming early to sit and watch the behind ththe bar activity, and sports on their well placed tv’s. Natalie really paid attention to our dining needs during our anniversary celebration. Food was excellent and timed well. Will ask for her section on our next trip.
We were pleased at our arrival, but after being seated, that started to change. Our server, while very nice and knowledgeable, was awful at keeping up with our order and beverages. The food was incredibly over priced and we left still hungry. A meal that should've taken maybe an hour took three hours with an incredibly ridiculous bill. I will not be going back...
Was a bit concerned as had read some bad reviews but we were seated promptly, had great service and every bit of food, drink and desert was excellent. Server assisted in choice of oysters, helpful for an inland girl. Very pricey but that was not unexpected. Would definitely go again if in the budget!!
We ordered Shrimp and Polenta as well as Salmon. Both meals were delicious. I had one weakly poured Margarita. We were first seated in the center where the chairs were wood seated only and very high; enough so that only my toes could touch the floor. The booth seating was more preferable.
