The oysters were amazing- the dinner was good but not great.
It was just very average for the amount of money. I believe the restaurant is geared mostly for tourists.
Thanks, great service and food, the service was excellent, along with the food. Great ending to an afternoon spent on the waterfront with my loved ones. Thank You!
Everything about this restaurant was great! Definitely will be going back next time I’m in Seattle. Can’t stop thinking about the blueberry tea beverage with a splash of liquid courage, the creme brûlée, and the macadamia nut dessert
Elliot's Oyster House was recommended by one of our Uber drivers. This was our first visit to Seattle and since we had just taken a tour the day before, we remembered that they were located next to the tour site. The food was awesome. One of my friends is a vegan, but had no problem with the menu. The only issue we had was with our server. I don't remember her name, but apparently she wasn't having the best of days. She was very short in speaking with us and it appeared that it was more of a burden to take our order than anything else. We requested more time to look over the menu after asking a few questions of her and upon her return, she seemed agitated that we had additional questions. She only stopped by one to check on us and at the end of the meal, when it was time for the check we asked her to split the appetizers. Apparently there was a computer glitch or something as I distinctly saw her murmur (excuse the expletive), "You have to be f** kidding me. I thought that was in very poor taste as I was able to look directly in her face.
We had a great experience except our waiter forgot about coming back and allowing us to order wine with our starters. We also received one oyster short of a dozen and the overall personality of the waiter could have been more customer friendly. Great teamwork at the tables but sometime they are not communicating this was evident because we were promised hot towels after eating Cioppino which never arrived at the table.
My husband and I ordered a mixture of oysters and we were blown away by the flavor and display!
Awesome atmosphere and amazing service!
I love Elliot’s. I went to celebrate my birthday, we experienced a little bit of delay in having our waiter take our order, however they made up for it for sure. Our waiter was amazing! Very professional and made sure our needs were met. I will be coming back to Elliot’s in the future for sure! Thank you for making my birthday special
We went to the happy hour! Pretty good!
We made a reservation here because we were visiting Seattle for a trip. I made the reservation based on recommendations from someone who lived there. I was disappointed we chose to eat here for our anniversary. There was nothing special about it, it took them 25min for them to seat us after our reservation time. I was hoping for a great view of the sunset but they sat us in the back of the restaurant so the only view we had were of the tourists walking by. The oyster selection was good and I enjoyed them but for the price point I think I could have found better places to go that were comparable. lesson learned. If it seems touristy it probably is.
Had a great meal. Was expecting something a lot more touristy but this place is lovely. Had the tower of seafood between the three of us and we all loved it.
Fresh local seafood and a great assortment of oysters. A bit pricey, though. And sluggish service. Make a reservation and good luck with parking.
We were looking for a place with notably good food and a great view of the water. Elliot's southwards view is limited to the Argosy dock and it's activities. The food was very resh and tasty: I had my all time fav - smoked Alaska black cod - but the mussels were over spiced. Overall a happy dining experience at a reasonable cost.
The food is awesome, the ambience is casual and friendly, the views at sunset are breathtaking, and the service is spot on, attentive and friendly. Don’t hesitate to try this place. The raw oyster menu is the largest I’ve seen. The true cod fish and chips are delicious. The menu is deep, something for everyone.
Absolutely wonderful, thank you for the great food, drinks and atmosphere!
One of my two choices when in Seattle. Was in town for business and Cindy flew out for weekend. My son and wife met us and we had a great time catching up and enjoying our dinner. Oysters were fresh and very tasty, followed by fresh seafood. Brandon and Kim had the salmon which they both enjoyed. One of the nicer dinner options in Seattle worth it in my view
We have be coming to Elliott's every time my parents are in town - twice a year for the past 17 years. We have always been happy with the meal. But this time the salmon was horrible and the vegetables were soggy so the extend we couldn't eat it. The crab cake recipe must have changed as they tasted nothing like what they used to. My mom had the seafood salad and her salmon was overdone as well. My son had the burger and he took one bite - so dry... and we had to order noodles. Overall a pricy bad experience even though the oysters were good. We'll not be going back :-(
We went there for our 36th anniversary. We arrived pretty close to on time and we were seated right away. They had their regular menu and a special menu. My wife is gluten free and our server was very aware of that the whole meal. We ordered the salmon off of the special menu. It was excellent. Moist, flavorful, not at all fishy. The asparagus was crunchy (perfect) and the little roasted potatoes were sooo good. They gave us our dessert for free for our anniversary and it was creme brûlée ... perfect. Highly recommended.
Always love eating fresh oysters here!
Amazing food, attentive service, helpful staff and great location with views. What’s not to like?
We had out of town guest visiting to attend the Hamilton play. Started with the impressive "Celebration" platter (oysters & chilled 1/2 dungeness crab which were fresh and enjoyed by all). Both salmon entrees (King & Sockeye) were perfectly cooked and were wonderful. Grilled scallops were equally delicious. Portions were satisfying, prices were fair and service friendly and timely. Special thanks to manager Charlie for accommodating one of our guest who had trouble walking. It was greatly appreciated!
Our server (Andy) was attentive and personable. Hot toddy with applejack brandy was an ideal drink for a raw, damp day. Smoked salmon pasta was spicy, but not overpowering. Elliott's always lives up to its reputation--and our expectations.
Great place near the water .. amazing service and big selection of oysters that are wonderful
Elliotts has gone downhill. The view is still great but the oysters weren't fresh the salmon was overcooked (!) and the lettuce was limp. Not the Elliotts I have come back to year after year.
We enjoyed our birthday dinner at Elliot's. The food was delicious just not enough of it. We both ordered the scallop dish which was a fairly expensive item on the menu and expected to get more than just 5 scallops. The ambiance was also very nice, being right on Elliot Bay. There was a large group in the restaurant just to the right of our table which made things a bit loud. When they left, things were more manageable. The service was very good and bringing out the surprise creme brouillette with a candle topped off the evening.
Me: Overpriced for average seafood. Who the heck charges $4 for cold bread on a $120 bill for 2? At that point it really doesn’t matter, but it’s the principalities. The scallops and risotto were both undercooked, but we never saw the waitress to discuss it. No better location though.
The wife: Felt rushed to order. Overpriced, overrated.
Pretty average seafood. Shrimp was not very fresh. Crab was overlooked and dry. Caesar salad was below average. Alder plank sockeye was very good however.
Five star prices with five star fresh seafood and three star everything else except the service which was 2 star at best.
We only ordered a few items. The calamari was heavily breaded and over-seasoned. It would have been better with a light batter and an aioli instead of the sweet and sour sauce. The clam chowder and the oysters were great, as well as the service.
Delicious, solid seafood place by the water. Nothing groundbreaking or avant garde, just straight down the middle good.
Very good service. Love the fresh oysters and calm chowders.
Super fresh, great quality oysters.
Entrees were right size and cooked perfectly
Food was ok. They're trying too hard with Asian fusion, which makes their food kinda weird. Only good thing were the fresh oysters!
My friends and I were celebrating my cousin’s birthday. She picked Elliot’s because it’s known as an amazing restaurant and that was proven with the service and the food. Marcia was so professional, kind, and lovely. She made sure everything was perfect without being too involved. We enjoyed every minute of our experience. Thank you!
Restaurant was very cold, we had to keep our coats on during our dinner. We asked them a couple of times to turn up the heat.
The food was just okay, my favoriate was the pan fried oysters. The other dishes did not live up to the expectations nor did they reflect the great Seafood that Seattle has to offer.
The oysters were as good as always. The crab and shrimp was not as fresh as you would expect for the price.
Very nice setting
Had a gift card for Elliott’s and my boyfriend and I decided to go for my birthday. Atmosphere and view is nice. Seating was quick. We asked for a booth since there were at least 4 open and were told they were saving them for reservations. Would be fine but both our table and the booth could sit four people. Drinks came out wrong. Bf ordered the New York steak medium and it came out barely even rare. He asked for it to be cooked more and it came back charred and burnt. I had the Bering Sea crab legs which were good. And for dessert we had the salted caramel sundae which was probably best things we ate all night. Service was not quick and our server did not seem interested in us at all. Never even introduced himself and barely checked in. Not worth the money.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and good service. It was my third time visiting from Miami I just wish they had a restaurant in south florida. My favorite Oyster restaurant.
I ate oysters Rockefeller and Cioppino. Even before I got into my car I was feeling bad. This is fully three days later and my stomach still isn't right. It was making lots of grumbling noises.
The previous time I visited Elliott's at Pier 56 it was great. This time not so. I may never return.
