Our server was attentive, nice, knowledgeable and provided excellent guidance regarding food choices (especially oyster types). Our food was delicious! Our only criticism would be that my daughter and I ordered exactly the same thing and hers was really oily. Mine was perfect, though! Other than that, it was a wonderful culinary and dining experience and I'd highly recommend Elliot's to anyone visiting Seattle!
Great service, very fresh oysters.
Food was great. Not crowded. Easy walk to the Seahawks game
This is one of our favorite places to go. We went before the Seahawks game & had the best food. Filled with Seahawk fans the staff was fast & friendly. Great place to go when in Seattle. The best oysters around
New Orleans worthy drinks⚜💯
A tourist trap. The food wasn’t great and they charge a 20% service fee (doesn’t include the tip)that they didn’t tell us about until the check came. I felt bad for the server because she had to tell us about the service charge, and then tell us that it isn’t her tip! We had a $150 bill then the $30 service fee then a $30 tip, I would have ordered less if I had known about the service fee. Just weird.
Excellent food, excellent service, great views. We have been going to Elliotts for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. One of the top seafood restaurants in the city. They specialize in fresh oysters and the dozen Kumamoto we had were perfect.
Food was very bland and overpriced.. only tasty item was the mussels
Elliott’s Oyster House was pretty packed when we arrived. And thanks to Open Table we were able to get in under 15 minutes. (Thank you - Open Table) we ordered a flight of oysters, crab cakes, and shrimp cocktail. Delicious - we could not decide what to order next but with some help from our fantastic Waitress-Summer we ordered Fresh Washington Salmon and a bowl of hot chowder.
Drinks were absolutely delicious and we were decidedly stuffed and happy with our decision to dine on the waterfront.
Great place to take out of towners who don't get a lot of variety in their seafood.
Great food and service!
Very accommodating. I am on a strict diet and the staff out did themselves! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary brunch!
it was amazing they had a hand written card on the table for my partners birthday and gave a complimentary dessert outside of everything else being incredible. our first time in seattle and we will definitely be back!
Our server Tom went above and beyond to ensure a positive dining experience.
Will definitely recommend Elliott's to others!!
Great food and wonderful service!
The food and service were great. My issue is with the 20% service fee to provide a better wage to the staff. They say it's not a tip, but a fee to give the staff better pay does the same thing as a tip. They shouldn't try to justify it by saying it isn't a tip, because it is. I left a tip, but certainly not as much as I would have since they already got 20%.
I'll recommend Elliott's to others, but I'll warn them about the 20% service charge.
The food was good, loved the atmosphere as well but one thing kinda of ruined our dinner at the end.
our waiter came up to us and said the 20% of tip is already included and the company takes the half of it, any tips extra on top of that will go towards him.
Waitress was nice but not very personable. Very nice touch of them putting a card on the table for our anniversary.
Only thing I did not like was the service fee. No other restaurant we went to in Seattle had that.
Delicious! We loved the fresh oysters. Service was good and food was tasty. Do wish they weren't out of the dungeness crab when we went however.
Elliott's never fails to impress, water views and fresh seafood. Stellar service.
If you're looking for a place on the water with good service but aren't looking for top notch food, Elliott's is the place to go. We had a booth with a great view. Service was excellent. Food isn't bad; just nothing special
Delish!! Scallop risotto and seafood/pasta/pesto. Oysters recommend by waiter were exactly what we wanted. Potato bread was a big portion but good. Hard in the outside, soft on the in. The whipped butter was terrible. Everyone was very nice.
Elliot’s has been a favorite for our family for a long time. We live close-by & despite the touristy area-it was a gem for us to enjoy seafood. We make a trip with family that visits from Philadelphia each year & this won’t happen again
Our kids were home from college & asked that we go here. The service was slow but good (our waiter kept us informed) Oysters and drinks were excellent. The overall meal was disappointing. I had crab cakes that were mealy, greasy with not much crab & red pepper sauce, it was served up with greasy pile of brown, unidentifiable vegetables that looked like they’d been in the pan for days. Another diner had scallops that were ok-same red pepper sauce. Other two had dungeness crab which they both liked.
AFTER we ate, our waiter gave us the bill & told us “there is a 20% charge that all goes to the company, but I do receive any tip given” I felt so bad for him having to say this-as it was awkward. Yes, I left him a tip & hope he can find a better job.
This communicated Elliot’s doesn’t care about their employees or their customers. It’s not unusual for restaurants to add this charge-but having 100% go to the company is absurd. This was not written on the menu or relayed when making initial reservation. Instead servers are tasked to tell you when the bill comes & have to ask for a tip?!?!. (There was an option to tell the restaurant you didn’t want to pay the charge-but I was disgusted at that point and just wanted to leave) This is poor practice and we’ll definitely find a new favorite place to get our oyster fix.
We had a very nice meal and a bottle of wine. Tried a flight of oyster and enjoyed the variations.
Food was excellent, service was great. I didn't expect the 20% tax in addition to our tip at the end. It was so worth it.
I had such a wonderful experience that I will be back today for an early dinner. My server—I wish I remembered her name—was amazing! She was really helpful with the selection of oysters and all of them were delicious. I also had the fish and chips and they were spectacular!
We requested patio dining yet we got there patio was closed 'due to weather'. It was a beautiful sunny, dry autumn day. Arden was an awesome server. Desserts were on the house. There was a greeting card for our birthday celebrant. Then after paying our bill we felt rushed to leave when another staff came to say they were closing the emergency door (Arden opened it to compromise our need for good air flow between indoor and outdoor air) bcuz other patrons requested it closed. 2 of my dining party were still in the restroom. Thanks just the same specially to Arden.
The service was great. We asked to sit by the windows and they graciously accommodated us. The beer that they recommended was exactly the taste we were looking for. The only complaint I have is the size of the oysters. They were pretty small and I wish they had a 10 sample set deal.
Great service from Mark L. Wonderful chowder, salads and the fried oyster entree. Also really enjoyed the blackened crispy rockfish. Biggest oysters we've ever had! We'll be back.
Excellent food and great service. There is an automatic gratuity, so you can tip extra if you want. The halibut and cavatappi were delicious. Reservations needed.
This is probably our 4th visit and I think there were more varieties of oysters than ever before-maybe 12! Absolutely delicious! Great service, love the ambiance and simply, hands down great
Everything was great from top to bottom even though I thought it was going to be a generic tourist trap
It was my husbands and I first time trying this place and it was magnificent! Our server was very knowledgeable and patient! It was the best bday dinner ever for my husband!
Wonderful food. One of them best entrees I have eaten in my life.
Great bread and butter. Wonderful selection of oysters. Prompt and knowledgeable waitstaff.
Showed up early to our reservation but was seated quickly and right away. Waiter was very nice and got us everything we ordered. Overall a nice dinner out.
Our server was great. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and delivered great service. The food was very good with good size portions. The oysters were amazing.
Had such a great experience from start to finish! Food and drinks were amazing and our server Tom was excellent. He made great suggestions and was very friendly!! Would definitely recommend to everyone
Overpriced food to being with. Then item we didn't order added to our bill. Then surprised by a 20% surcharge on top of the tip.
