Wonderful food. Perfect weather. Seated outside when requested
We forgot how good a restaurant Elliott is....and we invited another couple visiting the area. Oysters lead the way here and the selection was wide and fairly priced (unlike the over-rated Walrus & Carpenter). The couple had halibut and cioppino - both full portions and well done, my wife and I had the rockfish which was very good, with great trimmings. Server was alerted about wife's birthday and brought small dessert with candle to help celebrate the occasion. Our total bill was over $350 which included minimum drinks (one non-drinker) and many oysters. Highly recommended. Next time, I'll reserve an outside table if the weather is good.
expensive for what it is and you can probably get better food.
We ate here for the first time for my husband's birthday or a Saturday night. We were seated quickly with our reservation and able to sit outside. The service was great and we both enjoyed our food. I'll be back.
Great view and all that, but food sucks. Service is ok enough, nothing earth-shattering however.
Lovely food. Enjoyed the service was very nice and I also enjoyed being with my family
Great food, great service, beautiful view! Definitely a place to return during next business trip.
Great selection of oysters east coast were the best the New Zealand second our crabs were large but got cold quickly our server was great
Service was terrible. The food was pretty good and it’s a cool location, but overall, it’s an overpriced tourist trap.
The swordfish was the best I have ever eaten, my husband had the scallops and loved them as well. It was a great dining experience.
This was my first time visiting Elliott's Oyster House and will definitely not be my last. Everything is fresh and expertly prepared. The crab cakes we had for an appetizer were the best I've ever had. The scallops and risotto main I had was simply outstanding. The raspberry cheesecake for dessert was also delicious. I would highly recommend reservations as the popularity of this restaurant with locals and tourists alike make walking in at dinner time and getting a table very challenging.
Elliott's never disappoints. Whether it's quiet or bustling, the food and service is consistently excellent. I sometimes look online to find other seafood restaurants to try, but invariably I always end up back at Elliott's. I know a great meal is guaranteed and when dining out is as expensive as it's become, I want to know for sure that I'll enjoy it. No need to go anywhere else. This is one of my favorite restaurants on the planet!
The food was excellent and well presented. We sat outside by the water which added to the overall ambiance for a seafood restaurant!
We arrived right before our open table reservation, and had to wait to be seated 20+ minutes!!
We were having dinner, no one brought any bread or butter over. I saw the waiter kissing up to the next table, hot warm towels after their dinner, we didn’t even get asked for refills for our drinks!!
A $150.00 later the oysters , crab appetizers, deserts were good.
The rest disappointing, the service has gone down hill in my book.
Definitely Not my favorite place anymore:((
Stan our server did an excellent job accommodating a diverse and large group...I always expect industry pros at Elliot's. Summer or the off season.
We sat outside, and the view and food were both Amazing. We had a great sever who was very knowledgeable and recommended the perfect wine to go with our meal.
The food and the ambiance were excellent. Our server Cheryl was helpful, informative, and very charming. We were celebrating an anniversary and brought us a special dessert. The whole evening was wonderful.
My wife and I really enjoyed a delicious dinner on a gorgeous evening, dining on the patio overlooking the waterfront. She had oysters and I had the grilled prawns and short rib. Both were wonderful. Along with a bottle of wine and desert, it was a perfect meal.
Very noisy. Table was ready on time. Steak was medium as requested but totally charred on 1 side. Salmon with Japanese flair was interesting but very overcooked.
It was good but nothing special. Service was warm and friendly. Crab cakes were not good. Salad was out of a bag. Oysters and crab meat cocktail were delicious. Appetizers were all very good.
My wife and I were in Seattle as part of a three week vacation to Canada and the US west coast. We had dinner at Elliott’s Oyster House with my brother, his wife and our niece. We had a great time - the service was excellent and the food well prepared and delicious. The restaurant is a busy place but we really enjoyed the view and were able to have a good conversation- it was a wonderful evening. Next time we are in Seattle we will definitely get a table at Elliott’s. I highly recommend this for a great dinner.
I made a reservation for 4 at 7 pm. We checked in at 6:55 pm. It was really busy with walk in as it is by the pier. We waited till 7:15 pm only to be seated at a bar table. Similar thing happened the last time we ate here and had reservations, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When we asked if there was any other tables as we made reservations in advance they said no. The food arrived lukewarm. It was not stellar. I’ve had better for less expensive pricing. They must get so much business from tourists they do not really care about service or food. There are so many other good restaurants in Seattle I would recommend eating elsewhere. I will never go back here. The view’s not that great either.
Relaxed feel, food was excellent and wonder views of Pugent Sound
Food was fair. The Prawn and Short Rib was, well, “Short” on rib and not quite sure why chopped raw red onion was topped on the asparagus... one other thing, lose the crispy onion straws, not needed.
Everything was perfect! Service was genuine, food was spectacular & patio was fabulous!
Cool place, food was just alright
Seriously overrated and overpriced. You’re paying for the location not the food, which is mediocre.
Had a great dinner out in Seattle overlooking the water. Tried a variety of Oysters and the wood planked salmon and all were great. The Hama Hamas and Oishi’s were our favorite oysters. Service was also phenomenal and dealt with us and our toddler son in such a nice manner. All in all great place to have an early dinner after the Happy Hour madness.
Attentive, yet unhurried service. Excellent experience.
Incredible food, large portions and fantastic view. Waiter was a little snooty and pretentious. But overall great experience!
Best halibut I’ve ever had.
Was worried that it would be too touristy- but pleasantly surprised at decor and ambiance. Knew it could be a tad pricey- but not too bad and our food was very good - Halibut was great. Oysters were nicely chilled.
We dine at Elliott’s anytime we want top notch seafood
We went to seattle from Florida for an Alaskan cruise. We wanted oysters the first night and came across this place right on the water. The night before we flew back home to FL we just HAD to go back to elliots!! We ate about 60 oysters between two people. The staff is very honest and very helpful. If you don't go here, you will definitely regret it.
Very noisy. Forgot to bring my cocktail and then they brought the salad at the same time. Dungagenus crab was old and obviously not fresh. Wait staff was obviously too busy. Just not a very nice or comfortable restaurant.
Excellent location and friendly staff - popular place so can be a little slow.
A Seattle local recommended this spot for seafood on the water. Good stuff.
Our waiter was excellent and knowledgeable. Part of our group was delayed and our waiter wasn't perturbed by it.
King salmon and king crab legs were awesome.
Beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy good food! Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.
Great food. Pricier due to tourist location. Service could improve as its not matching the price.
I can't say enough about this establishment- great service, friendly staff, energetic atmosphere, bartenders know their liquor, chef's can slay some seafood, the oysters are AMAZING!
