    We had a great experience with the staff, the waiter was most attentive. We ate on the outdoor patio and could not have a better day. We are from the area of the country that also does a bang up job with food so we might have a bit of bias. That being said, we also travel a lot and enjoy fantastic food in loads of places. We started with an oyster sample platter (6). An expensive starter 4-4.75 per piece. They were disappointing. From there, the spicy crab chowder, fantastic and a house salad, also fantastic. Then came the cod fish and chips. Skip it. The over all meal was tasteless and disappointing. My husband and I shared all three of these choices and they were delivered on separate plates. We each had a beer and our final bill came in just a little over $120. Overall, expensive, not worth the funds.

    Good oysters but fish was overcooked. The bread and coleslaw were excellent. We had a huge issue with the 20% service charge tacked on followed by the server telling us that he didn't receive any of that so we were strong-armed into adding an additional tip for him.

    First the hostess told us they were booked for the evening, that’s why I gave service 2 star, however our waiter was excellent. Food was very average, I was happy to pay the top dollar pricing but because it was so damn expensive I expected perfection with the meal, we ordered the fried oysters, grilled oysters Caesar salad, cod and chips and the risotto.

    We sat in the farthest back corner so it was quite dark. I would definitely recommend they hang a mirror in the corner so that it brings light into that corner and so that we guests who have to face the dark brown wall can catch a reflection of the water and boats behind us. Service was incredibly slow, probably due to the pain all restaurants are facing regarding short staffing challenges. My husband's fish sandwich, my sister's miso polenta and mom's seafood risotto all were spicy. There was no mention on the menu of them being spicy. They ate it but were less-than excited about their food and would not have ordered it if they had known about the spice content ( an important detail to include on the menu especially for those who have strict dietary restriction to spice). Oysters were delicious and fresh! Suggestion though is to PLEASE put descriptions of the oysters on the menu. We could see that having our server repeat the description and quality of the oysters was testing his patience and definitely taking up his time. We recently ate at another 5 star restaurant where the menu summarized the oyster origin and character. Easy to read, understand and order from- highly recommend to do the same here. My steelhead salad and crab cake was flavorful and delicious.

    Our 1st time coming to Elliott's (celebrating a wedding anniversary) and both of us oyster lovers and great seafood - we initially parking in a lot across the street which charged $30 (found out after there is a valet parking lot next to restaurant closer to ferris wheel for $12) Enough about parking from the front desk greet and lovely congratulations card to a more intimate table to a wonderful server Chris who took great care to describe the different oysters, buttery to mineral to briny to the chef the care he took with our halibut and salad the fantastic Austrian white wine that Chris suggested that complimented the meal - Thank you for a fantastic 27 wedding anniversary!! LOVED IT!

    We had such an amazing dinner. We try to visit Elliot’s on every visit to Seattle as we enjoy fresh oysters on the half shell. The selection was impressive! The ambiance is beautiful, the views stunning. Our server, Ryan, made our dinner the best we have had yet!

    Food was ok, 20% upfront tip for a family of 3 was not something I'm used to. We generally tip at least 20% but server stressing they only get to keep 10% of the tip and the the restaurant keeps the other 10% made us tip 30% tip total. Since when 20% tip wasn't enough??

    We had a reservation and was seated promptly. The service was A little slow but that seems to be the norm these days. Everything was delicious though the loaf of bread we were served was literally COLD. Why would any restaurant serve cold bread ? Anyway, it was taken care of. Salmon was delicious. I had the mussels and they were the best I have ever had. Also has some raw oysters and the shaved champagne sorbet served with them was so amazing. The noise level is high so having a conversation required a good amount of leaning in. But I don’t mind that. My husband and I like to snuggle! We recommend this place highly

    Wait staff and reception staff were great. The food and was average and a little pricey. I wasn't too crazy about the 20% surcharge. Was a little turned off when our waiter informed us if we could provide an extra tip on top of the surcharge he would get more. Wait staff should have to mention tips to a customer. Not sure if this is a Covid-19 recovery effort or not. We just know it was a downer to the end of a good evening. Please rethink this policy, we're sure the customers would appreciate it and show their gratitude.

    Was disappointed with fish on fish and chips meal. Quality of fish and way fried not very good. Also, while aware of 20% service chg, must have missed only half went to waiter. So, if true, 30% tip on expensive meal is unreasonable and would prevent another me from visiting again.

    Sadly this once dine restaurant has become a mediocre tourist trap. Fish was not fresh and clearly frozen. There are better options in Seattle. Seek them out.

    I’ve seen some reviews talking about the cost being excessive, so just want to say that in my experience whenever you dine at a seafood restaurant on the water or with water views, costs tend to be a little higher, so that’s to be expected. I didn’t see anything overly alarming about the costs, because Seattle seems a fairly expensive city to begin with. We tried some oysters, and they were very good and well prepared. They definitely tasted different from east coast oysters and I enjoyed the experience, but would skip the ice and sauce served with them-too overpowering. I really enjoyed the seafood risotto and my husband enjoyed the king salmon, both delicious! The bread was great as well, but too large a portion for one or two people, so we probably should have skipped it. The service was excellent! From the hostess, to the water service, to the waiter who knew everything about each dish on the menu and could really detail the oyster selection…Even if the 20% gratuity wasn’t already included in the bill, that’s what I would have given. A very nice experience and delicious food with water views - exactly the special experience we were hoping for after a long day full of walking and site-seeing!

    First time diner, two friends highly recommended. Bar is too small. Bartender was very nice, made solid drinks. Waiter was great. Food flavors were off. Caesar was overdressed, soggy. Seafood risotto was undercooked and pesto flavor too strong. Wife’s halibut was cooked well, especially for a thick cut, but succotash was not complementary. Oysters were good. Automatic 20% gratuity, then suggest patrons can give more as waiter will get 100% of extra…is nonsense. Your guests should be able to determine tip, period, based upon experience. We spent too much for a less than premium food experience and my wife ended up being terribly sick. We were up most of the night. I absolutely cannot stand seeing her suffer. Very bad start to our vacation.

    Nice seafood menu. The oysters were fresh and outstanding. Convenient location and good ambiance. We were surprised but not upset to find that Elliots is adding 20% to checks in lieu of tipping. We like that and would like to see it done more. It seems to be catching on in Seattle.

    A perfect dinner for date night. We had oysters and martinis followed by the burrata caprese and a shrimp cocktail. We shared the king salmon entree, which our waiter had split for us. All prepared to perfection. Nice alternative prep on the caprese. Delicious prep on the salmon with fresh peas and morels. Delicious!
