I was a little nervous about this trip, only because my wife has been nervous about dining out with our two kids, but We were all so happy with our experience. We were able to reserve an outdoor table up front, which was a big plus, and the outdoor seating area is set up with good ventilation and plexiglass barriers between tables, so it was a great setup for all comfort levels.
Service was excellent throughout, and food was served quickly. We ordered a bunch of our kids’ favorites-the Celebration platter, crab cakes, calamari, and clam chowder. Every option was quite tasty, and the surprise of the night were the delicious veggies served with the crab cakes. Desserts were also delicious, and the walnut old fashioned was a delicious cocktail for this old fashioned snob.
We were looking for a nice spot for dinner close to the ferries, and the whole family was very pleased. Will definitely be back again.
The grilled scallops are amazing!! Cooked perfectly and the risotto is creamy dreamyness!!
The meal wasn't terrible but wasn't great either. The calamari was rubbery but plentiful. The Crispy Pacific Rockfish was also a large portion and properly cooked, but nothing special. The Seafood Linguini was edible but also nothing special. It is a good, average restaurant in a great location.
We had a wonderful dinner and service was outstanding. I felt the COVID surcharge (20%) was a bit excessive. Hopefully that will decrease soon.
Food and service was absolutely top notch. Raw oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had...and we’ve had a lot. While pricey, Elliotts delivered on both quality and service. Outstanding.
The meals never disappoint but the service was TERRIBLE.
A fantastic visit. Great service with amazing food. Highly recommend.
Had reservations for Saturday evening. We were a little apprehensive at first, but the spacing and the wait staff put us at ease.
We found at when we got there that it was one of our friends birthday, and the staff did a great job of making that person feel special on short notice. All the starters and desserts we had were great! Will come back
We had the best dinner. Food was amazing, and so was our server Dave. So friendly we had the best time!
Food was mediocre for the price. There are better places for cheaper.
Our server was Andy. He was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We definitely want to be in his section next time
We had a reservation at 5pm. Once we got there we were promptly seated. The noise level was quiet and our waiter got our drinks very quickly. The calamari was okay nothing too exciting but the scallops meal that both of us got was AMAZING. Our server refilled drinks and made sure we were always doing okay. The food and service was great. I didn’t grab our server’s name but he was great
We had the best time and the best server! We were a little disappointed that there was a time limit (totally understandable with COVID) cause we would have loved to stay and kept eating! Food was great, wine and cocktails were enjoyable and our server was the icing on the cake! Which I wish we would have gotten!
The service was slow. The food was bland. And it wasn’t cheap either.
Fantastic service and overall experience. This place does everything right, from the food to the presentation and even the covered patio was nicely put together and well heated. The number one reason to come here is the food, this place has the best king crab legs in town, boasting large portions and wonderful seasonal sides (this time it was potato wedges and asparagus). I cannot wait to come back here again in the future!
The dishes we ordered were ill-conceived by the chef. The crab cake were served on a bed of lima beans that clashed and didn't fit together at all; I elected to avoid the beans entirely. The crab cakes were also under-cooked; soggy and white instead of brown and crispy. The fried rock fish (kinda weird to fry rock-fish but we ordered it so I guess that's on us) was served with onions and green peppers it came off as a $15 Thai stir fry dish rather than a nice seafood plate. The waiter was always running by the table but didn't stop to check-in. We had to vocally call him over when we wanted something. It seem like a tourist trap restaurant that probably gets by on its location instead of the quality of its food. It might look nice and the menu seems upscale, but the food quality is probably on par with Denny's at 3 times the cost. There are much better seafood restaurants in Seattle I'm never going back to this one.
We wanted great food, preferably on the water, and preferably sitting outside. This hit all 3 marks. I got the scallops, my husband got the King crab and our son got the filet. All 3 were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and gave exceptional service. It is pricey, but to be expected for the location. Would recommend for a nice occasion.
Was just bummed by the change of menu. The dishes we were hoping for were not there. We understand it’s due to covid but was just a little bummed. Otherwise, Elliott’s is still a favorite of ours. Thank you for being open!
Overall, I would have to say that our dinner was just average. I ordered the seafood linguine which was good but, not great. My husband ordered the crab cakes, which is a VERY small portion with a bland vegetable hash that did not have any flavor at all. We ordered the oysters as an appetizer, & they were loaded with cheese and bacon, it was so overpowering that you could not even taste the oyster itself. Then when we received our bill, there was a 20% “service charge” added to the total, and then we are expected to tip after that!! I am very disappointed with our dinner, I expected a better meal for the amount we spent at Elliot’s. The ambience was the best thing about the restaurant- the view was amazing and I would have to say our service was just okay... I don’t think I would return here or refer anyone to this restaurant.
waitress was great. Food was good, but came cold.
Great food with a great view of the water. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. If you love oysters, this is the place to go!
I'll be back!
The food was SO DELISH that we came to dinner to Elliotts TWO dinners in a row 😋
GREAT food, ambiance - perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday.
Our server was fantastic! She was funny and had great recommendations!
Staff very attentive and genuinely nice. I had the seafood linguine and it had a bit too much going on. The extended wine list link is printed on the food side of the menu instead of below the wines so I ordered what I thought was the only caberenet sauvignon and didn't care for it. Manager let me swap it out for a better bottle on the extended list. Nicer wines more than 100% mark up. Fun location, sit outside of you can.
Delicious food (I ordered the scallops and they were cooked to perfection) and amazing, personable staff. The outdoor dining area was so nice and very warm
Last minute decision turned into an excellent late afternoon. Oysters, mains and drinks were outstanding. Waitress was great...knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely on my list of restaurants to frequent often.
Andy was the perfect server. All staff were super friendly and efficient. Best halibut ever...moist and flavorful. My companions raved about their meals, fish and chips and chicken.
The atmosphere is great and they’ve done a wonderful job of following covid guidelines. I felt very comfortable with their space and am appreciative of being able to see the incredible views from inside or out! The outside eating area is set up to be warm and is as elegant as the indoor eating areas. As usual, the food and service were outstanding!
Good food. Nice service. Nice view over the bay. A little pit pricy.
The oyster and artichoke dip didn't agree with me. The fresh oysters were great. The service was quite good except for the offputting pitch the server made at the end to get a higher tip because the house kept too bid a portion of its mandatory 20% surcharge, which is also offputting. Hostess was great. Steak was undercooked--more rare than medium rare.
Excellent first post-covid lunch with friends. Elliott's has figured out how to keep people separated safely and the lunch was terrific. Fresh salads, fresh fish. We'll be back soon!
Outstanding seafood and superb server. I think his name was Andy? (Curly hair, from Kansas)
Our waiter was very knowledgeable. The food was mediocre. The 20% added charge was ridiculous. It was cold and the heater that was next to us was out of propane. The staff said it could not be refilled. So we just froze. Definitely a disappointment
Food has slipped, and delivered without key ingredient. Waiter annoying. Given 1.5 hours to get out. Bad night!
There is a time limit for how long patrons can sit at the table. I understand why but it also took 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. Overall we enjoyed it but the service was a little lacking.
Delicious!
Great oysters, excellent calamari and champagne - a very fun and successful dining experience!
- PD
There is an automatic 20% service charge that goes solely to the restaurant. On an expensive meal, hardly seems fair to the server.
Good service, old but clean interiors. Friendly wait person. Good cocktails & appetizers. Husband enjoyed crab cakes w/root veggies. My seafood pasta was congealed & tasteless. French fries were soggy. Guinness chocolate cheesecake was great! Very pricey, so come w/ $$$.
