We went to Elliott’s for Valentine’s dinner. Everything from service to the food was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
Good food and not very crowded for a Valentine's Day lunch. Got the "For the table Celebration" item. Everything on it was good but it did seem a bit sparse for the price. Our waiter was excellent. Definitely get the chocolate pistachio cake for dessert.
We were pleased by the assortment of oysters but the rest of the food was just OK. The crab seemed to have been pre-cooked and reheated but that may not be accurate. We had crab again at Cutters the next night and it just seemed to have better flavor and came out of shell easier.
I also don’t like the 3% surcharge. We ate in some restaurants that added 20% in lieu of a tip but the 3% was just extra. I think they should add it to the cost of menu items instead of a check surprise.
Our server was so helpful, we really appreciated the time he took to help us decide on our meal!!!
Fantastic clam chowder and oysters on a snowy Seattle day. Excellent service, although the front desk hostess was very cranky.
I flew to Seattle with my husband again for a conference . I met my brother and sister-in-law to treat them to dinner to this wonderful restaurant we attend every time we are in Seattle. The meal and service was amazing as always. Unfortunately we were sat by the kitchen door. As I was a trainer and opened many restaurants for Far West and Rusty Pelicans I was a little bummed for the ambiance

I really don’t understand why restaurants have tables next to kitchen doors. It’s almost like sitting the last minute wedding guests you didn’t think would show !! Makes one feel unimportant really. My opinion
We will be back. Because when it’s just my husband and me we sit at the bar tables and enjoy the view
the crab, which is supposed to be speciality of the house, was wet, soggy .....almost as if it had been frozen
60th birthday celebration and lots of fun!
Oysters were phenomenal! Entrees delicious. We left full and very pleased with our dining experience.
The fish and shellfish were super fresh and well prepared. The service was good and you can't beat the view. I would recommend Elliott's for sure.
So disappointed. The food wasn’t nearly as good as it was a couple of years ago. Visiting from Portland and Seattle has so many amazing restaurants. So bummed that we wasted one of our meals at Elliott’s. We use to love the Caesar, chowder and salmon but it wasn’t anything like it was a couple of years ago
Selection of oysters was impressive but at $2.60-3.75 it was just a small tasting experience for us. Clam chowder was excellent
Great view with delicious entrees. Definitely coming back when I visit Seattle again.
Made a reservation but I was dropped off the list. I drove 2 hours to get there and then had to find parking so wasn't aware of an email that was sent to confirm. Got there on time but had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Our waitress was great and so was the food. Wasn't happy about waiting.

Despite the touristy location and slightly overpriced dishes, the service is excellent and the view of the water is delightful. There is better food to be had in Seattle, but there are few better locations than the lovely waterfront. Enjoy!
Matthew was very attentive and gave great recommendations. We dined on the mussels and the oysters rockefeller. The mussels had great spice and the oysters rockefeller were absolutely worth the value. Great cocktails and a killer panna cotta. We will definitely return.
We really enjoyed the mussels. I had the lobster special and it was very buttery soft and great tasting. This has always been one of my go to places when I am in the area. The waiter was very good and also had good recommendations for us so that we didn’t over order too much food. The wine selection was good as well. We will return.
My boyfriend and I ate here for his birthday dinner. Between the two of us it was only $100. Very nice dining and fairly affordable given the value of the food and service!
Elliott's Oyster House lives up to its reputation. Service was solidly good during lunch. The food was superb (Oysters Rockefeller starter and Pan Fried Oyters with roasted potatoes entree).
It was delicious seafood. I went for the basic fish and chips and didn't regret it. The only complaint I may have is our waitress talked us into getting vodka in our strawberry lemonade and we couldn't taste it at all. Being a non-drinker I usually can pick up on the alcohol being in a drink. It felt unfortunate to pay for the drink without the alcohol but at the end of the day it didn't spoil our dinner. Nice atmosphere and service was good.
Overall service was great and seamless. Mussels were the best I've had in Seattle, with the right mixture of spicy and tasty. I will go back just for the mussels. Crabs were expensive and bland. I had to do all the work to crack them, and the sauce served with it was just butter. I expected more given the price. Try Taylor Shellfish if you want tasty crab for the same price that you don't have to crack yourself.
Reserved a table well in advance and asked for a window view seat. Arrived and there was a line to check in with hostess. Watched a table of 4 with no reservation be sat at a perfect sound view window seat then I was told there were no seats available by the window. Was very disappointed. Beyond that food is great and service wonderful.
We always have a wonderful time at Elliots, and the oysters are delicious. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, their menu is great and very reasonably priced.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Elliot’s. The food was DELICIOUS and the service was impeccable! I was absolutely blown away by my dish (curry coconut cod I believe?). The flavors melded together so well. The presentation was beautiful as well. We will be back next time we’re in Seattle again!
Very disappointing over cooked, dry salmon that was overpriced. Will not be going back.
there were screaming children in the restuarant and we asked for a rose or flower to be on the table since it was our anniversary. we were told the task could be completed, but it wasnt. it was on the top 10 most romantic restaurants and was definitely not... very dissatisfied
I went to EOH last week twice during my stau in Seattle. Fabulous. I went for salmon, great salmon, and got much more. Gteat waitstaff. Loved the available wines, unusual, such as a 2014 Alsatian Pinot Blanc that was just outstanding. Great raw oysters, great salmon. Incredible experiences, both times.
The service was amazing. The food is okay.... nothing knocked me off of my feet but it was a good overall experience.
Well it is Seattle so good luck fighting the all the homeless drug users to park. Seriously the homeless don't bother me much but seeing multiple people shooting up and snorting whatever right on the sidewalks is a bit much. Ok so you walk in and the place looks nice enough, right on the water if you sit towards the back. My problem is the pricing. If I am going to pay top dollar (42 dollar soup!) I want that soup to come with the whole experience of fine dining and that is not what you are getting. The only thing that saved our night was our waiter Mike D, super nice lots of great input and always looking out. Pricing..everyone knows "market pricing" is always on the high side but 80 bucks for 2 crab lags and gross crunchy mashed potatoes is a bit much. Fried oyster appetizer 16 dollars consisted of 4 fried oysters the size of a tea spoon. Drinks 16-28 dollars, now I will pay for a good drink but these are not even that quality. My salmon plate was confused as to which country it belonged in. I had the coconut crushed ling cod which the 4oz portion of that was good, the 20oz of "jasmine rice" that tasted like ginger shavings laid on top of a puree of spicy as hell Indian curry was a bit much. Our table was to small to fit our plates on without having to offset them, we were a early dinner and the place was empty but still sat us away from windows, when we first sat down I had to flag down a server because they hadn't come by even for water after 15 mins, every male waiter had a man bun and the attitude to go with it. The host had such a low cut top on i could see her belly button, all these things I am ok with, when I am at a bar or not paying 350.00 for two dinners and drinks. In my opinion it is better to somewhere else for half the cost and a better dining experience.
We have eaten here a number of times in the past. So we were disappointed this time when the food and the service seemed mediocre.

Tourist trap, over priced, very mediocre food at best. Oysters were good but everywhere has great oysters in Seattle. Taylor’s was exponentially better. Our service and the location were the only enjoyable parts of the experience.
We were really looking forward to dinner. Service was excellent. Polite, punctual, informative and helpful. But the food was, sadly, far lower quality than expected. I had lobster (bland), wife had scallops (green sauce had a very unpleasant taste), and the crab cakes were mostly breading. Literally - not one item was up to standard.
Everything's always fantastic at Elliot's. The amazing thing is that many, or most Seattleites don't think of going here; I guess they think it's a tourist place. Well, they are missing out. Elliot's has the best oyster selection in the city, hands down. All of their seafood appetizers and entree's are beautifully prepared and presented. Last night, our waiter Enrique took such great care of us and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu. We'll be back!
Great oysters, great service. Not inexpensive, but a fun splurge.
Service was extremely slow and it didn’t feel like it was worth what we paid for.
The host staff wasn’t that friendly and pretty disorganized but aside from that experience everything was lovely. We had a drink at the bar first and the bartender was attentive and friendly despite how busy it was. Cannot say enough about our server. He was an absolute delight. The food was amazing and the view was beautiful.
