Elliott's Oyster House Ratings and Reviews
Had a gift card for Elliott’s and my boyfriend and I decided to go for my birthday. Atmosphere and view is nice. Seating was quick. We asked for a booth since there were at least 4 open and were told they were saving them for reservations. Would be fine but both our table and the booth could sit four people. Drinks came out wrong. Bf ordered the New York steak medium and it came out barely even rare. He asked for it to be cooked more and it came back charred and burnt. I had the Bering Sea crab legs which were good. And for dessert we had the salted caramel sundae which was probably best things we ate all night. Service was not quick and our server did not seem interested in us at all. Never even introduced himself and barely checked in. Not worth the money.
We started coming here for special occasions several years ago. The menu is very diverse with fresh local ingredients. Food is always prepared nicely and prices are fair for what you get. We enjoy the friendliness of the wait staff and who could not love that view? Oh, and did I mention the oysters?
It was a great experience. Our waiter seemed rushed plus the dinning area was a little squished. I could hear the whole conversation off the take next to me. Food was good and spicy. Ceaser salad was a little sad. Well dressed but kind of limp. I really enjoyed the wine list and trying oysters.
We arrived at the restaurant at our reservation time and we were immediately seated even though patrons without reservations were waiting. We started with oysters and they were excellent. We than had both clam chowder and an order of their spicy corn chowder. Both were good but not hot. That was disappointing. Calamari was also ordered as an appetizer and it was terrible. It seemed to be just small bites of breading with out any calamari. We would not return.
Absolutely wonderful meal for my guests from out of town. We started with an assortment of raw oysters and they were incredible. Our server, Ryan, expertly guided us through our selection and everyone in our party enjoyed. This was the first time I have tried your Dungeness crab cakes and you now hold the title for best crab cake in Seattle. We also enjoyed a variety of lunch items and we were all very happy campers. Great place, great service, great views.
I was visiting Seattle on business and used the opportunity to take my son (who is a UW student) to dinner. We had a delicious meal at Elliott's. Our server was excellent. She made some great recommendations regarding menu choices. We enjoyed everything from our oyster starter through the sorbet we had for dessert. My son's entree, the sockeye salmon, was absolutely delicious!
Elliott's has never disappointed , and this day was no different. The raw oyster selection outstanding. Nothing more fun than sampling seafood from different locations around local waters . Cocktails were outstanding. Dinner selections prepared perfectly. Desserts were addictive. From the start, they had a table ready to support the reservation. no wait. We just love this place
My son and I were in Seattle last week for business, and decided to give this tourist restaurant on pier 56 a try. Very nice ambiance, extremely nice staff, but terrible food. The fried calamari was heavily breaded, greasy and tasteless, and the blackened rockfish and dungeness crab entrees were dreadful. The place was packed on a Thursday night, though, with mostly middle-aged contractor types, who seemed to be enjoying themselves. We did not.
I took my wife out for a weeknight date. The ambiance was great and the service impeccable. The oyster menu is comprehensive and the wine paring was perfect. We ordered a sampling of 7 different types of oyster and the crab legs. The food was all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Went for dinner before a show. The service was good, the food not so much. The fried calamari was tiny rings, heavily breaded, over cooked and greasy. The cedar plank salmon was basically raw next to the skin. I like rare cooked salmon, but this was not that.
