Second time here and I had another fabulous meal. It was St Patty’s day so it was a little loud but people were hanving fun and everyone seemed to be in a great mood. The menu had quite a few options to choose from and there were many specials as well. I had the salmon and it was amazing. If you have never dined at Elliott’s, please do yourself a favor and go. You won’t be disappointed.
There were four of us in our group and we all felt the experience was outstanding. When in Pinehurst or Southern Pines this is the place to go. The salmon, elk, filet, and pork were all excellent. The service was great too at both the bar and table. Our only disappointment was that there were out of the black bass but the other entrees more than made up for it. I highly recommend Elliott's.
Wonderful dining experience. The flavors in the food were some of the best we’ve ever had. Amazing!
Professional staff and food excellent.
I live in southern pines which in my opinion, is not far at all from Elliotts, but apparently some people feel that is a little bit of a drive, It was well worth the drive. It truly was a dining experience. From the atmosphere, the waiter, the appetizer, the entre and of course the drinks, it really was a great, great meal.
I am new to this area and I’m always looking for someplace new to dine. I drove by your restaurant about a week ago and it just looked so inviting. So I made a reservation through open table.
My family is coming to visit me next weekend and I am definitely making a reservation at Elliotts.
Awesome food and service. Always consistent in their delivery. Definitely recommend.
My husband and I were in Pinehurst celebrating out 29th wedding anniversary and decided to try Elliotts on Lindin for dinner. We both had excellent meals..including appetizer, salad and main course. They gave us a nice table for our occasion and our waitress was a sweet delight!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
We like to go to here when we are in town, every 3 months or so, for a nice quiet dinner. Never disappointed , always something interesting and new to try. Great service, can’t wait to come back in May!
A perfect evening for a family dinner at Elliott’s. The food was delicious, wonderful presentation and there was a gluten free option. Everything was just wonderful! A special evening made even better with the fantastic dining experience. Jackson was a great server. He made good recommendations, was patient and very attentive. Again, a perfect evening!!!
I think we hit them on an off night. There were only a few tables filled, but despite that, it took so long to get our drinks that the appetizer arrived before the cocktails. And then dinner came out as soon as we finished the appetizer. We were seated and fed within 45 minutes. A whirlwind for a nicer dining experience. The food was great though. I would try it again!
I’ll start with areas to improve. Parking is extremely tight. Beware if you drive a large truck as you’ll find it extremely hard to maneuver. Service needs improvement too. Our waiter was extremely forgetful. Started off by bringing me the wrong beer, then failing to bring me the tea I ordered as well. Forgot to order one of our desserts, and forgot to bring a to-go coffee to one of our party members. He also forgot to come and get our payment after he dropped the check off. Unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber.
The good: the food was absolutely amazing. I originally ordered the elk steak only to find out the were out of it. I opted for the lamb instead. It was wonderfully tender and flavorful. All our party enjoyed their meals. Dessert was also well done. I had the goat cheese cheesecake...awesome.
The seating was a bit cramped, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. They also had a nice fire going out front if you wanted to hang out afterwards. Despite the poor service, I’d definitely eat here again simply because the food made up for it.
Fantastic restaurant! Great food, wine, and atmosphere!!
We had a reservation for 745 pm on Valentines day. The hostess was completely overwhelmed and was not keeping track of the online reservations with the patrons that walked in. We waited over 30 minutes to be seated while watching empty tables sit idle. Once seated at the table, we noticed that it wasn't prepared with napkins and silverware. Our waiter was inexperienced and it showed with his lack knowledge of the menu and setting the table and uncorking the wine bottle. The food was great as always. Truly disappointed as we have always enjoyed our overall experience at Elliot's. We will return and recommend Elliots' but it has lost some points with a loyal customer.
Waited over an hour to get seated even though I had reservations
Lovely service, excellent food, really welcoming and relaxed but elegant surroundings.
Excellent food and service. This was a birthday dinner. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable of menu.
My fiancé and I wanted a nice location to catch up with some friends who were driving in from out of town. I thought it was important that the meal be worth the drive. The restaurant was packed when we got there. But it was a fun bustling environment. Once we got seated, we started with some wonderful calamari and gnocchi appetizers and it only got better from there. . . I had the filet, my fiancé had the salmon and my friend trieds the taco special. All of us loved every bite! The food here is just top notch! You can't go wrong!
We had a wonderful evening, great food in a charming and lovely restaurant. We have eaten at Elliotts before and have never been disappointed. Everything was excellent.
The food was excellent as always. The staff was friendly and inviting. A pleasant dining experience.
Greeters could not sort out our table. They made a big deal about water choice and napkin choice That service was good. Rest of service ok but very unorganized. Food was good.
The staff seemed very overwhelmed and flustered. It was a busy Saturday night, which should not be an unexpected event for an established restaurant. The staff acted as if everyone walked in at one time, without reservations. Unfortunately, when the staff acts anxious and on edge, the dining experience will feel that way also.
Elliott's on Linden is our favorite restaurant in the Pinehurst area. The food and ambiance will never disappoint.
The table was small for six adults. It was weird that in an empty restaurant we were squashed at a small table, we really needed more space.
Special time with friends. Celebrating life!
We were seated in the room where they have art work which is quieter than the main dining area, but not as special - a plus and a minus on New Year's Eve. It was a bit drafty and we had to go through an area that is being remodeled to get to our seats. The view of the renovation from our table detracted from the ambience.
Service was slow largely because our server would disappear for significant amounts of time. Once our order was taken, the food came out fairly quickly and was very good.
The service, food and ambiance well all great. Really liked the starters.
Always perfect! Robert and Ian (?) at the bar are always worth visiting. Love Jesse in the dining room as well! Thank you for another perfect Christmas Eve dinner.
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Elliots and the meal was beyond fabulous! The wait staff was attentive and accomodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an evening out.
Wonderful evening at Elliott's on Linden again :) First time having Robert as our waiter and so enjoyed him - very knowledgeable , personable and accommodating .
Elliott’s exceeded my expectations!!! Absolutely loved my seating arrangements my server, the host, the chef, and Everything about my most recent experience there!!! I will definitely be back
Fantastic waiter. Amazing food. Cozy atmosphere
Amazing food 🙌🏼
Truly enjoyable evening. Outstanding food. Wine amounts were on the light side.
Had a lovely dinner here with friends Friday. The menu was interesting and the food delicious. My cocktails were fine but uninspired. Focus on the food!
Everything was excellent!! Service, ambience, drinks and food!!
Came here for my birthday. Had eaten here before. The one problem : our seating - and we moved twice - was in the path of the ever blowing cold air out of the vent and super super bright overhead spot lights —and it was cold November ! The server was very nice about accommodating me but I just gave up - The food was delicious and my husband enjoyed his selection as well. The server did spend a little too much time talking with us each time he came to our table - he was new and I think this showed by his “visiting “. He was that way with everyone — but super nice and super enthusiastic about the menu. I make this one of my go - to places when I’m in Pinehurst ! But guys, Turn the lights down and buy softer lighting. This was a HUGE turn off for me .
This is a regular jaunt for us! Favorite restaurant in the area by far! They will cater to just about any allergy or taste if they have the Fresh ingredients in house. Don’t sleep on the white chocolate goat cheese cheesecake normally topped with something in season. If you like gin, try a silver fizz a the bar. The salmon is always a good choice and you can’t go wrong with the burger or tacos on special! (Varies...) Can’t day enough good things about Elliot’s.
Wait staff was poor which is unusual for this restaurant. This was a 70th birthday celebration, and the service we received was embarrassingly poor. Food was excellent as is usual.
We are visiting from the west coast for a golf trip. Went in early to have a drink before dinner and the bar staff was fabulous, other patrons were friendly, and our waiter, Chad, was outstanding! We had a filet & b/c of a recommendation from our waiter, I try the elk. It was beyond fantastic, I will try anything once, but when I go back I will have it again! Apps , salads and wine list were also superb.
I loved the parsnip soup and enjoyed my chopped salad. The vegetarian appetizer and entree that my friend had was so lovely in presentation and I bet it was delicious also.
