   Kitchen was trying out a new pasta machine. My husband’s pasta meal came out 10-15 minutes after mine. Food is excellent and they comped a glass of wine and some MAC & cheese. They could’ve alerted us to the issue a bit sooner.

   Went for an early dinner (5:15) on a Friday. Restaurant was fairly full by 6:15. Noise level OK for talking. My spouse and I had the delicious bourbon salmon. I don't mind skin on, but it came w/o skin and was cooked perfectly. I also had the tasty octopus appetizer. Kudos to our server Mackensie who was very attentive and knowledgeable.

   Really enjoy Elliot’s. I have dined here at least 10 times. Service is consistently very professional, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Haven’t had a poor waiter yet. Good wine list. Food is farm to table and consistent well prepared and a joy to eat. Only two negatives are (a) noise level in main dining room - the greenhouse design really makes noise carry and (b) parking - they need 10 more spaces at least. Overall a high quality restaurant that takes care of its patrons.

   I took a prospective client to dinner at Elliotts on Linden and it was a very good choice. The food was excellent, service was great, and the atmosphere was quiet enough that we could have a conversation without shouting. I would definitely dine there again!

    Food was very creative and excellent! Nice atmosphere as well. Our issue was with the service. Our server didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu (read notes) and wasn’t very responsive considering the prices of this restaurant.

    We were a table of 8. Would loved to have had a round table! We had a fabulous experience in every way, except the noise level made it hard to hear. Will definitely return!

    The food was delicious and presentation was pleasant. Like many places it seems as if they are struggling with staffing. The service was uneven at best. In took them 15 minutes to inform us that the wine we ordered was out of stock and another 10 minutes to return with the alternative. We had finished our appetizers by then. The water glass was refilled only at the end of our dinner. So- good food mediocre service.

    Outstanding food quality and service. Cara, our server, was super friendly, kind and personable. We would like to make the suggestion that Elliotts Restaurant use a good fizzy tonic such as Fever Tree or Schwepps; apparently they make their own tonic and the drinks are flat. Just a suggestion!     Gourmet dining in a relaxed but chic restaurant. Staff was fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you are ever in Pinehurst, take yourself to this place. You won’t regret it.

    The food was excellent and the service outstanding. My husband had the scallop appetizer and said it was amazing. I had the fresh catch, halibut, and it was the best fish preparation I’ve ever eaten. Blair was a charming, well prepared and efficient server who made our evening extra special. Thank you!

    Love having a restaurant with locally sourced ingredients! The salmon and lamb risotto were delicious. Overall we enjoyed the food and drinks, but were disappointed in the service. The timing of drinks, food, etc was off and we felt rushed throughout the meal. Our biscuits were forgotten, we didn’t have water for most of the meal, and the wine we ordered before dinner came out after we finished our meals. Great atmosphere for a date night or night out with friends, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for us.

    Everything was great! Food took longer than usual to come out but was comped desert without mentioning anything. Servers were great, food was delicious and drinks were top notch. Only complaint has nothing to do with the establishment, just really loud group of out of town golfers. Nothing against them, just doesn’t seem like the type of place for loud groups.

    Table sitting near door and was very cold. Steak was to be served with asparagus and was not. 10oz steak appeared to be much less

    Another outstanding evening at Elliots! My wife & I were there for Valentine’s Eve dinner. Our sever, Linda was exceptional, as always. The food was fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere. A truly special place.

    The service was painfully slow. It took 2 hours for our food to arrive. The waiter was nice but it was unpleasant to wait that long. The restaurant was also incredibly loud so it was difficult to hear my friends across from me.

    Went for a Valentines dinner but it was a few days before Valentines day. When I arrived the bar looked like it was a bit buys but there wasn't many people seated at tables at the time. We ordered the crab hush puppies to split which were amazing, wife doesn't even like seafood and she enjoyed them. She ordered the chicken and waffles and I order the grilled elk steak medium rare. The chicken came out great and despite my elk being served as two small steaks and was completely raw near the bone and well done on the edges it was still delicious. I dont mind eating raw meat so that probably played a part in why I still enjoyed it. However having paid 47 dollars for it I was expecting it to be evenly cooked throughout and also just a single steak instead of two small ones. In addition to this it took quite some time for us to get out food. We were there for over 2 hours and both felt like a majority of that time we were just waiting on out food, it did tend to get crowded towars the end of our meal but was still fairly empty when we put in our order. Overall it was a great meal and the servers were very respectful. I will definitely be going back on a date not around a holiday to see if the wait is any better as that was really my only issue with the place. However even if it takes a while for my food to come out again it will be worth it to eat there every now and than due to the excellent taste of the food

    Great experience. The food was prepared well but lacked seasoning. For the price, they should take the salt and pepper off the table and season the food properly. Everything else was great.

    Elliott’s on Linden is a dining experience; not simply a meal. The flavors, food pairings are often original but a perfect match. For example; the chicken with waffle, pork schnitzel and glazed salmon. For an appetizer, the crab hushpuppies with a peppy bbq sauce are truly unforgettable !
