Stellar experience. Excellent service. Incredibly delicious meal.
Great food. Awesome wines available.
This was not my first trip to Ellerbe's, nor will it be my last. I simply love this little restaurant. Chef Molly has a beautiful touch with her food, all ingredients are locally sourced within 50 miles so everything is fresh, fresh, fresh! The wine list is diverse and smart. Always great food, great ambience and so enjoyable. I love that the wait staff is all so educated about the food, its preparation and flavors, and able to pair a perfect wine to enhance those flavors. In short, you will not be disappointed should you venture inside. Prepare to be pleased.
Great wine list with options beyond the print. Awesome menu executed at high levels.
I had been seen ads for this restaurant. I was disappointed and unimpressed. The food was not very special or exciting.
Food was wonderful, as always. Friend with special dietary requirements was accommodated in a very efficient, unnoticeable way. Server friendly and most helpful. Love this place.
Very nice environment , but the food was disappointing.
Service was wonderful, the food was absolutely amazing, and the restaurant was very charming!!
4 of us at lunch Loved, Loved, Loved Ellerbe’s. Food delicious (especially the farm grown field greens and beet/orange salad). Chatty, but not too much, attentive service. We had only been there for dinner some time ago which we loved, but lunch was great too!
This was a great find. I will be back soon. Excellent food, ambient and service. Worth every single dollar.
Great tasting food but not a huge menu of choices. Service was right on. We were celebrating a birthday at lunch & did not feel rushed at all. It’s another neat place on Magnolia!
Wonderful food, impeccable service. We can’t wait to go back. The whiskey bread pudding is a must—sublime.
Exquisite interior decor. Farm to table, delicious cuisine, with seasonally shifting menu. Extensive wine list.
I enjoyed a wonderful evening meal at Ellerbe's. The beet/citrus salad started the meal off right with nice flavor and a bit of pop from the citrus. My entrée was the duck confit which was served in a savory white bean/Brussels Sprouts presentation. The duck, as the waiter predicted, fell off the bone and had a great, rich flavor. A scoop of pecan ice cream rounded out the meal. All in all, a very nice dining experience.
it was wonderful! we can’t wait to return.
Food and our server were really good!
Delicious food and great service.... totally recommend saving room for dessert!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner . Ellerbe always lets the ingredients shine rather than overworking them .
Our midday Valentines Day luncheon was ideal. The menu was very creative and the service was prompt and helpful. The value for the money as excellent.
Thank you for the wonderful food! My birthday was amazing and thank you for making it so special!
The food was amazing and the service, superb. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet date night where we were actually able to hear each other talk and did not feel like the staff was rushing us. We will definitely be back.
Food is excellent - very much on Gourmet side. Great steak and fish! The steak has a definite smoke flavor...fish dishes very good. The bread pudding is over the top. Elegant dining with great service! Ask for Scott as waiter - great service! Brittny also over the top!
Brian was a fantastic server, food was very good ~~
This is our favorite restaurant in the whole state! We have never had a bad meal here. The staff is amazing, food outstanding and just an awesome place to go! Wish we lived in Fort Worth so we could eat there every week!!
The food was amazing! Scott, our server, was incredible! Knowledgeable. Attentive. Fun!!!
My wife and I joined two other couples for dinner at Ellerbe's on a recent Saturday night. Overall, our experience was very good, if not stellar. The ambience was excellent, with good lighting and a fresh and appealing space. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient, but did seem to enjoy hearing himself talk - at length - about the menu. The Cowtown Market salad was fresh and visually appealing, but not a great value at $14. The Texas red wine we enjoyed was actually quite good and a relative bargain at $34. Everyone seemed to enjoy their entrée and the bread pudding was above average. All in all, it was a good night out and I would return to Ellerbe's - it just didn't blow me away.
My favorite spot for great food and good conversation with friends.
Service is always excellent and the atmosphere relaxed.
I love that it is not noisy and I can actually enjoy a conversation with my guest.
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellence in an easy environment.
Richly unique (in a very positive way) dining experience. The environment and reuse of a old gas station sets the tone the minute you arrive. Courteous and attentive staff take over from there. There is just enough on the menu that speaks to most. Preparation and quality of ingredients are more than on point. On the whole this was an excellent night out. A bit spendy, however somewhat justified considering use of ‘local food sourcng’ and options. The ‘take away/at table’ wine selection is a cool concept. Be sure not too over look it as we did unfortunately. Resulting in paying $28 more for the same bottle on the menu listing for some reason. Wine selection is vast and quite interesting.
Excellent menu. Steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked flawlessly
We've been to Ellerbe's 5-6 times over the years. The food is always very good, the wine list is excellent, the service is outstanding, and it's just a fun place to go. I really can't think of anything that wasn't just outstanding. The ambiance of a converted gas station may be lacking for those concerned with such trivia, but I certainly don't think this is an issue. We'll go again, hopefully sooner than later!
Dinner was good but not excellent, which I would expect for the price. My entrée was $30 and I only ate half of it. When the waiter took it away I assumed he would box up my leftovers, nope. He threw it away!! We weee Disappointed considering our overall bill was $150 for 2
Great service (thanks, Brittany). Wine list that satisfied the wine-os I was with. Food is unusual and creative without being weird. My lamb maybe could have been cooked a little longer. Overall a great experience.
Great food great atmosphere. Loved it
Loved the restaurant. Food was delicious, would have liked some background music.
Great food marred only by the poor service by wait staff. Not our usual experience and may be attributable to the holidays.
We had dinner reservations for our anniversary and when we got there it was closed up tight with lights out. We even received a txt to confirm our reservation the day before.
Was pleasantly surprised. Had an outstanding meal. Will definitely return. The menu is not overwhelming, but an excellent variety. Highly recommended.
