This place is exceptional. The service, the food quality and wine selection is top notch. Some items to note (definitely a preference, not a quality statement) the gumbo has amazing depth of flavour but ours had brisket in it and it was very mild-simply a texture and spice preference; the halibut and the mixed green veg entree had Texas Toast as a base to prop up the presentation maybe? The consensus was perhaps a cauliflower purée would make a better presentation to an otherwise impressive meal. We couldn’t figure out how a restaurant that has insanely good bread flown in from California would use plain toast, I probably missed the memo. Well worth the visit and excellent quality for the money. Ashley‘s service was impeccable and a testament to the quality of the restaurant.

We enjoyed a nice dinner that was long overdue. The staff was attentive and very accommodating. I felt safe and table were appropriately distanced apart. The food was amazing. It was the perfect night out.

Ellerbe is always excellent, and this time was no exception. It has long been my favorite Fort Worth restaurant for a reason!

Wonderful service - very attentive and knowledgeable. Beautiful wine pairing suggestion. I love the seasonal and fresh menu. I started with the mushroom salad - mushrooms over a bed of arugula. It’s duck season...so I had the duck! Rich, great flavours and the meat just Dallas off the bone...but not over-seasoned, and with a New Orleans twist. Paired with the Trefethen Dragon’s Tooth. Finished off the decadent meal with bread pudding covered in coffee ice cream and a sherry. Whew!

Excellent wine list, very knowledgeable waitress, and delicious food

We really enjoyed the food. It was nice to eat locally sourced ingredients. However, it was far too expensive for what we received. The wine pour is around 4 ounces a glass and the portions are tiny. I appreciate the dedication to flavor, but felt I paid about $80 more than it was worth.

Very well organized and trained staff, as the owners obviously care about Service of the 2nd Mile.
Our food server was Ledi and she was very knowledgeable and helpful about the restaurant, not to mention her attention to detail and attentiveness.
Managers checked in frequently with us and was above the service level of comparable establishments...if anyone restaurant could even try to compare to what we experienced.
The food was expertly prepared, great chef here.
The wine list was probably the most diverse I have seen in Fort Worth, and it was broad, not confined to a couple of pages!!
Try the 2013 German Pinot Noir from The Galway Vineyard, you won’t be disappointed!!
I will say I was impressed upon check in at hostess stand as they had hand sanitizers, individual packets, masks, and even took temperatures of guests before seating. All staff properly masked up, and wore them appropriately Ilo letting them drop down !!
We will return and IF you want a fine dining experience in Cowtown, get a reservation....and Enjoy!

INCREDIBLE!
Besides the incredible menu, the staff went out of their way to wish my date a Happy Birthday. (in a nice classy way, not the sombrero singing way) A simple card signed by the staff and well wishes from those who came by our table.
Seriously, try this place if you haven’t. I asked them to pair the wine for me that best fits the meal - and it ALWAYS goes well.
If you are looking for a nice, unique, quiet, classy place to have dinner - this is it.

Really good food and service!!!!

Fabulous food and service as always. I’m not a fan of the music they play and it’s too loud. Softer non vocal instrumental jazz/classical would be much more to my taste.

We arrived and were promptly greeted by hostess. We were quickly sat thanks to having a reservation. Waiter paired wine with my meal fabulously. Plus, when dessert was brought to the table, a lit birthday candle accompanied my husbands dish. It was a nice touch. And you can’t beat the complimentary cookies with the bill.

Awesome experience. Loved the food and the service was amazing! We sat on the patio and had the windows partially open so there was air circulation. So no concerns for our health safety at all!

Our first time and we'll definitely be back! Attentive but low key service and wonderfully prepared dishes made for a lovely ending of a special day.

This was our first time at Ellerbe's but it certainly won't be our last. We did the 3 course menu for the special Fort Worth dining week event and everything was amazing. The service was great and we appreciated their screened in patio that allowed for some fresh air flow while keeping it warm. Can't wait to go back!

Just keep loving this gem more and more every time I go. Amazing seasonal items on the menu. This time the grilled pear salad and pheasant for main course. The servers are always well prepared with explanations for the whole menu. The wine list has been expanded with some really good by-the-glass offerings. The bottle selection by world region and variety have been carefully chosen to match the menu, but there is something on there for everyone. The newly completed garden room is light and airy, a great spot to enjoy the happenings on magnolia while enjoying your food.

Food and service were exceptional! This is a must visit for anyone located in Fort Worth.
