Ellerbe Fine Foods
Barbeque shrimp were an excellent add on. I really enjoyed my pork chop and mushroom salad
I had the Bass and my husband had the duck. Each was cooked to perfection and the presentation was lovely. My fish was accompanied by a sauce with shrimp. Delicious. We shared the cheese board. The beet hummus was especially good and interesting.
James was our server. He was charming and attentive.
It was our belated Valentine's dinner. We chose well.
Great meal, lots of unique choices. Wine and desserts excellent. Can’t wait to visit again.
We were terribly disappointed, my wife had the monk fish that was pretty much tasteless. I had the chef choice steak that was cooked perfectly but it was rather tough. the bread pudding was very short on the sauce & the taste just wasn't very good.
Day after Valentines
We had a great time with Ashley. Took excellent care of us.
The staff was very attentive and provided terrific service. The food was great and wine list is excellent. We would definitely recommend Ellerbe!
Always a very enjoyable and special experience dining at Elerbe’s. We love their curated wine selection as well as their outstanding menu and superior service.
One our favorite places in Ft Worth to eat . Never disappoints!!
The atmosphere is always pleasant. The service was impeccable (David). Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, including great wine suggestions. He was attentive but not intrusive. The food was great and unique. Overall a wonderful time.
Great value for good food and great service. Ambiance is utilitarian, so don't count on this for a quiet dinner. We ordered apps, dinner, shared a dessert and had a nice bottle of Bordeaux for just under $190 before tip. The bottle of wine at $88 was a real value.
Scott was incredible and made the evening. Food was amazing
We had a good business lunch. Food and service were enjoyable.
The food was delicious. The service was good. We arrived at 11:30am , meeting a client there. We were seated in corner, very quiet, perfect for a business lunch - until about 12:15pm, then a couple and several people were seated right next to us. There were other open tables they could have been seated. The noise level grew louder and become very distracting. The wait staff could see we were conducting a business meeting with paperwork and docs, they should have recognized this and seated the others elsewhere - tables were available. The tables on the couch area where we sat are very close together.
Server Dave was exceptional. Well versed in wines and wine parings
1st time. Not a good experience.
Delightful experience with out of town family. Attentive and friendly service. Amazing food. Great wine suggestions. I would go back in a heartbeat.
I have been lucky enough to have had some awesome dining experiences and this is one of my favorites! Pork chops are not usually my meat of choice, but I saw it in a new light at Ellerbe. Honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. We also had a bottle of Sinegal Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s going on my wine list!!! Staff is very knowledgeable, atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends or date night, food is fantastic and reasonably priced, and wine list is very diverse with some awesome features. Lastly, saving room for dessert is a MUST. The bread pudding is OUT OF THIS WORLD Y’ALL.
It's a lovely setting and very welcoming; great place to visit with friends. On Saturday night place was packed and it was noisier than I remember--which is an issue when hoping to have easy conversation with friends. Turnip soup idea was fun, flavor rather ho-hum. Veal shank was great. Coffee is really mediocre (and weak); not sure why Ellerbe can't easily upgrade that. Very chatty server was kind enough to brew another press but is was equally weak.
Ellerbe is special in spite of these shortcomings.
Scott is an amazing waiter. He described the food choices perfectly!
My favorite restaurant in the DFW area.
It was fantastic!
Ellerbe’s never disappoints. I took two people new to Ellerbe’s for dinner Saturday night and it was, as always, outstanding. You never feel cramped or rushed there, and the noise level is such that you can really relax and enjoy conversation at your table, but it isn’t deathly quiet so you’re afraid to talk! They really hit the sweet spot there. The food is always incredible and Scott, our server, had a great sense of humor, took excellent care of us, and made spot on wine pairing suggestions for us. Ellerbe’s is by far my favorite spot, and definitely my special occasion go to. Go, and enjoy.
I've never had a bad meal at Ellerbe. The service is impeccable, and the menu -- old standbys and seasonal favorites -- is always interesting. Excellent wines by the glass.
Fantastic food, great service, excellent wine list, and one of the seemingly few places left in town where you don't have to scream to have a conversation with your tablemates!
Birthday dinner for wife.
Although the food for all entrees was good, locally sourced and well prepared we all tried each other's dishes. I had the veal dish which i found completely under seasoned . Especially when an eloquent description was written on the menu for each item, I found them all under salted and under seasoned. One guest had the large pork chop , which they enjoyed. The mixed seafood dish was supposed to be a soup but there was very little broth. the sea bass was tasty, but again, lacked any seasoning.
New Years Eve - excellent dinner and overall experience. Terrific evening!
Very much enjoyed the New Years Eve dinner and wine pairing!
We dined at Ellerbe for New Year's Eve for their New Orleans style Prix Fixe menu. Being Louisiana natives and frequent visitors to New Orleans, we were excited to try Chef Molly's take on New Orleans favorites like Shrimp Arnaud and turkey and andouille gumbo and were not disappointed. Loved the wine pairings provided by our server (who is also a sommelier) which enhanced the experience. Left happy and full.
Ellerbe is one of our favorite Fort Worth restaurants.
Everything was excellent. The only thing to be improved was the fact that the restaurant was not full, which made for a “less happening” vibe than at times past. The food and service were outstanding.
Great location, sophisticated decor, good wine list, delicious food, and amazing service! The staff, especially our server Francisco, went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Everything we had was wonderful, but the Heart of Palms with addition of crabmeat, the Porkchop, and the Salmon were table favorites. And the dessert!!!! Big mistake if you don't order the Bread Pudding, and if your group wants 2 desserts, add the White Chocolate Pistachio Creme Pot. SO GOOD. Can't wait to return!
Waiter was personable, professional, friendly
Service outstanding, food well prepared and presente
Good food in a cute area of Ft Worth near medical center.
Absolutely fantastic! If they only had a fireplace!!
Waitress was perfect, accommodating, great suggestions, timing and just adorable!
I love this place! The food is great and the staff are friendly. I have never had a bad meal!
