This is an excellent restaurant!! My whole family loves going there. Wonderful food and great service!

We had a 7:15 reservation that we arrived for at 7:10. We checked in and the hostess told us it would be 10 to 15 minuets so we took a seat in the waiting area. At 7:30 I went up to check if we were close to being seated, after noticing people that got there after us were being seated before us. At 7:30 the hostess told me there was 1 more table of 2 in front of us then we were going to be seated. We watched 3 more groups of people that arrived after us be seated before us. We got up and left around 7:45. We went across the street to Blue Agave and were seated immediately and had some of the best service. Blue Agave has good food, atmosphere and is quick. We probably will not go to Elizabeth’s for a while.
The pizza and Stromboli are always great! I had Chicken Parmigiana this time, and it was really tasty, though it was a tad too salty. My husband had Linguine & Clams with white wine sauce - he thought it was bland and wasn't a big fan of the white wine sauce (thought it would have been better with marina sauce). However, we will definitely be back. Awesome.
I'm not usually one to leave a bad review, I usually just chalk it up to experience and avoid that restaurant in the future. But, I've had good experiences with Elizabeth's locations elsewhere. I have no ill will toward Elizabeth's but somebody really needs to pay attention to the training of waitstaff on North Battleground, so here goes.
I got together with old friends who I hadn't seen in a while, they live in Greensboro, I live well north near Belews Lake, so North Battleground Elizabeth's seemed like a good fit. We arrived and were seated immediately, I had a reservation but none was needed as the restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night. Other than this, first hint that something might be amiss was seemingly minor. We ordered cocktails and an appetizer. I ordered vodka tonic with lime, call vodka, Ketel One since that's what they had. Server mispronounced it. Same with the appetizer ordered next. Caprese, that was a little more annoying because it seemed as if she thought she was correcting me in calling it "Caprice."
But, the really irritating and disappointing thing was, I splurged a little and ordered their filet mignon special. I tend to like a sort of Pittsburgh style, seared on the outside, mid-rare within but that seems to stymie a lot of people so I just ordered it mid-rare to medium and asked that it be lightly seared on the outside. She seemed to understand. But, then the food arrives, the filet was not prepared in the manner requested, it was butterflied and medium well at best, not seared.
Very disappointing. Given the apparent ignorance of our server (despite her being a seemingly bright person otherwise, sort of mystifying), I blame her and not the kitchen.
Whoever is responsible for training waitstaff there is falling down on the job, she did not seem new. I think I understand why that Elizabeth's was half empty on a Saturday night. None of the others I've visited would have been.

Our waitress needed additional training. Didn't bring enough plates for the number of people at our table. She reached in front of us to serve others. Again, not enough plates for entrees and when she finally brought them, after talking with others for awhile, the ones she brought were very cold. Asked if we needed anything, but kept on walking past us. Embarrassing for us as we had guests with us.
Went for a lovely Mother's Day lunch. Wasn't too crowded. Service was excellent! Food came out hot and very fast!
Our food was delicious that night and as leftovers the next day. Service was great too. The owner or manager is personable. Love this place.

Not enough time between salads, appetizer and entree. Was in town for family weekend and was not really interested in a quick meal. We all felt rushed.

We had the neapolitan pizza and wings and it was great. We just shared a pitcher of beer and had a quiet casual meal on a saturday night. Service was speedy and food was tasty!
Very disappointed in the food and service. We were there on a busy Friday night and our waiter was so stressed. He didn't know what he was doing most of the time and had no manners towards his guest. Very unprofessional. The food tasted like it was out of cans or frozen section at the super market. So flavorless and bland. Nothing good here...skip it.
Elizabeth's pizza is a small town local joint. It's fun. We wen with our family of 12 after a day at the waterpark. The pizza was amazing. The wine list can be improved. I was given a glass of wine that should have been dumped after 3 days in an open bottle.
As usual, great food, good service. However, on this visit, the place was frigid...we sat, inside, with our jackets on throughout the meal. I know the kitchen gets hot but this was just too cold!

Elizabeth's is a great place for good Italian food at reasonable prices. Their servings are huge so bring an appetite, a friend, or plan on a to-go box. This is a good place for families with numerous large tables and a children's menu. All of the classic Italian dishes as well as pizza by the pie or slice.

Service was good and attentive; friendly. Salads and soups were good. But our entrees were not satisfying. My wife and I each selected a Stromboli or Calzone. In both cases the menu should offer only large or extra large as the "smalls" we ordered were huge. Mine was to have meat in it but there was SO much cheese there seemed to be little room for the meat. I love cheese but it was ridiculous. Mostly both were dough, cheese and a little of the advertised filling thrown in. Basically oversized cheese bread. Disappointing.

Service was great and food came out really fast and hot. Great for lunchtime! Our table was set and ready for us with our Open Table reservation. Very nice.
To begin, I requested on my reservation via, Open Table, a table for 4 near the fireplace and in front of a TV. The reservation was for 630 in the middle of the dinner rush. When we got there, they sat us right away. The table was in front of the fireplace and TV. The hostess was incredible and polite. The waitress was very very friendly and very responsible. We were joking and having fun, and she was just going with us. She was pleasant and got us everything we wanted and needed and very quickly. The food was also very good. I would recommend this place without hesitation.
Service was slow and ineffective. The food was mediocre. We made reservations and the hostesses were thoroughly confused about the reservation and where to seat us. We had to ask to have the table cleaned. We will not go back.
I wanted a casual pasta place for dinner. I really made a rare mistake in my restaurant choice.. I ordered Shrimp Scampi and the plate looked like it was filled with melted butter. Scampi has very little butter and should be mostly olive oil. It was tasteless and the past overcooked. I put hot sauce and red pepper and salt on it and ate most of it because I had not eaten all day. The wine was lousy too. The only passable portion of my dinner was the small side salad. I was also seated in the middle of a large group that was having a presentation behind, in front and to my right. This place is not really an open table restaurant in my opinion.
