In Savannah on vacation. Nice place we would recommend to others
Everything was perfect. Food. Service. Waitress. Hostess Wine. Setting.
The hostess was rude and sat us upstairs where there was no heat. It was like an attic. The wait staff was fine, but the hostess was bad. Very expensive to sit in an attic next to a table of 12 young women celebrating .
Really great food. Great service. You won’t be disappointed
Absolutely A mazing. We enjoyed every aspect. The food was terrific, creative and the dining experience was tremendous. Our server was WONDERFUL and all service was impeccable. Thank you for a great memory.
The food was good and the service excellent. The noise level in the patio room was so loud we could barely hear our waiter recite the specials and struggled with dinner conversations.
Our meal was pleasant and so was the service. What disappointed us was the line up for the restrooms - awkward as one had to wait in line near the front entrance, in full view of most diners.
We loved the atmosphere at Elizabeth’s on 37th. My meal the red rice and shrimp was delicious, others in my party dishes were so so. The chocolate cake cake for dessert was disappointing, very dry.
Absolutely loved the whole experience! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Savannah!!
My husband and I ate at Elizabeth's while in Savannah. Parking is a problem as it is in Savannah.
Their prices on their wine are high. We did not get a bottle, but a glass of wine each at $15 each. The scallop appetizer was very good. We shared it. We both ordered the special, local flounder. It was a disappointment. The flavors overpowered the flavors of the fish. All in all, I think once at Elizabeth's is enough for me. It is a beautiful old home. Service was excellent.
This was by far the best restaurant that we visited during our stay in Savannah. We selected 4 high end restaurants to visit during our stay and hands down Elizabeths was the star. Great attentive service. Very friendly and the food was just outstanding. Nice surprise was several courses that were presented that we did not order, just compliments of the house and great additions to the meal. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a special night out. It was recommended to us and we are so glad we made those reservations. Just phenomenal!!1
Kim is the best! We love Elizabeth’s so much. Will be a family staple for special occasions for years to come.
Nice place to eat. Would definitely go back. Beef tenderloin is excellent.
This was out second time dining at this restaurant. We were even more impressed this time vs. 1 year ago (during our annual drive to FL from MA). We selected our meal from the appetizer and main course "specials," which were outstanding. My wife enjoyed the shrimp in a taco bowl to start, while I enjoyed scallops atop smoked trout pate. For the mains, my wife ordered the soft shell crab (a favorite of hers) and I tried the flounder with kielbasa, a very tasty combination. The 2013 Ramey Hyde Vineyard chardonnay was a perfect match! Kim, our server, also served us last year and we will ask for him by name next time.
Awesome food! Best restaurant in Savannah!
Place checks out as one of the top dining experiences in Savannah!
Excellent food and service- the ambiance felt like old Savannah charm. Would definitely go back!
Beautiful 19th century surroundings, great service and terrific food. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely incredible! The food is not only divine, but this restaurant creates a memorable experience for it's customers. We will be back again!
Service and food were outstanding. Deep wine list and good follow-up deserts. The soft shell crab special is on excellent. .
Incredible Service and Menu! It was the 53rd Anniversary of the first date of my wife and I. We always pick out the finest restaurant where we are at the time and we were not disappointed.
Always a great experience. Owner was fantastic.
Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is the steak came out over cooked the first time. They quickly rectified that and desserts were on the house. Overall excellent experience!
Great food accompanied by great service. Warm and welcoming staff with all the attention to detail. A definite Savannah experience to be treasured
Service and servers are always great! It was our 2nd time visiting. As far as food, my dinner choice was a bit overpowered by the ginger, but the appetizer Mushroom soup was good. My husband’s scallop appetizer and tenderloin dinner were absolutely amazing!
Every aspect is perfect. Attentive waiters who know the menu and wine list.
The meal was OK. The ginger salmon came out barely hot and didn't have a lot of flavor. Didn't want to send it back while the rest of the party was eating. Very stuffy atmosphere full of old money that looked like they hadn't worked in at least 40 years. The waiter knew his stuff and explained everything well. We are Savannah residents, and I don't think we'll be back but I can understand why some may like it. To me, it was Ruth's Chris prices(+) for a lackluster meal.
Dined here almost 30 years ago and loved it then and loved it this time. The surroundings are a little run down and maybe will improve with spring flowers? My waiter was awesome. Always a treat.
Simply a wonderful dining experience! The food is the best we experienced in Savannah, the atmosphere together with the service is without equal. The owners, Gary and Gregg also wait table and are very willing to share their experience as restaurateurs/owners of Elizabeth on 37th which adds to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
A great place for a wonderful meal in a historic setting. Great service and best of all the owners are there and accessible. Love this place.
This restaurant is off the beaten path, as it is not in the historical district, but visitors should absolutely make that extra effort and go for a dinner there. The restaurant is in an old home which makes the table groupings small and intimate and the noise level low. The menu is pretty varied and they have daily specials as well. I went with the special for appetizer and for dinner. I had the Parmesan crisp with shrimp for the appetizer and the flounder for the entree. Both were excellent. They a,so served, as part of the meal, an amuse buse and a salad. Since my husband had a salad as an appetizer, they brought him a cup of mushroom soup, which was also on special. It was excellent. As the wine we ordered was not fully chilled, the waiter brought me a glass of chilled wine, a step up from the bottle ordered. The waiters turned out the be the two gentlemen that own the restaurant. Absolutely lovely people. Make sure you take a trip to the bathroom for the full experience. The restroom was a full bath for the home and the bathtub is now a little lounge. Outside the bathroom door is a plaque that indicates these two brothers were no,instead for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2012. Wow!!
For all the great reviews, it was only alright. We entertain all over Savannah. Food was not that special and pricy compared to Pink House etc. $15 mixed drinks, food portions were small. actual left hungry after appetizers, salad and entre.
I can’t wait to go back to Savannah, so I can try something else from this delightful restaurant. The food was amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, and the wait staff was wonderful. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Very good food and service!
Elizabeth’s is undoubtably the best restaurant in Savannah. From the minute you arrive until the check appears you are treated like royalty, without pomposity. The owner recites the specials. Let me repeat that. The owner is part of the waitstaff. You’d never know. He doesn’t announce himself. He simply tells you what wonderfullness they’re creating in the kitchen. There is no artifice, only excellence. And every time, it’s special. If you have one night in Savannah, go to Elizabeth’s.
Food and service was great but way to loud in main area
Dad made a reservation for the wrong night. Which would not have been a big had it not been my son’s senior prom. They accommodated my son and his date despite my mistake. Thanks very much
