The food was excellent. Great wine list. But…the service was rushed. Our seven course meal was served too quickly. As soon as a course was completed, another came. No time to digest. The waitstaff brought the check and came back twice to collect payment; we were still enjoying our wine and felt like they were anxious to leave for the night (it was only 9:30). We were seated directly on top of a vent which made a “Marilyn Monroe” moment for my wife. Why? We have no idea. The place wasn’t full. This was a very special anniversary. Unfortunate. And while it may seem like nitpicking, the waitstaffs’ uniforms were dingy and grayish-white. Fine dining should come with fine details. We would recommend the restaurant because the food was excellent. But we would respectfully ask the proprietors to take a look at these items.

Wow! Came down for a weekend getaway from Charleston for my wife’s birthday and stumbled into a reservation. WOW! Every course was a home run and the wine pairings delicious. Service was both impeccable and friendly. Gary Butch and the rest of the staff were everywhere. They made the evening fantastic and I dare say the food even better. We liked one glass of wine so much, Gary offered us a bottle of it to take home for their cost. Of course we said “Yes please!”. At the end of the evening, fully satiated, we left with smiles, goodbyes to several staff members and a promise to be back next time we visit Savannah.

15 years after our first dining experience, it’s still the greatest 2 hours of culinary time spent anywhere.

When we first entered, the restaurant had a noticeable musty smell, almost like mold, which immediately set a negative tone. Our initial server disappeared after the first 30 minutes, fortunately, the second server was attentive and did a good job. The food was decent overall, though the first course didn’t taste fresh and seemed like it had been prepared earlier in the day. The drinks were good. There’s definitely room for improvement, both in the quality of the food and in the interior and exterior appearance of the restaurant.

The servers and food were delicious and we loved the 7 course tasting menu. We got to try so many different flavors and it wasn't too much so we didn't feel over-full. The tenderloin was wonderfully cooked as were the two fish options and the scallops. We enjoyed it all. We went on a Thursday at 6pm and there were few other diners there at the same time, so we had a nice quiet environment where we could easily talk and enjoy the experience.

As always! Best of the Best! Great food! Superior wait staff! Wonderful ambience! And fantastic wines! It is always a pleasure to dine here! Have come several times a year and will continue to do so. This is our special place! Would give 20 stars if it were possible!

Only a tasting menu but enough options and willingness to modify to make it very approachable.... The wine pairings were really excellent and our server was super knowledgeable on each pairing which made the experience more enjoyable. Highly recommended.
