Inspired by Chef Elizabeth Terry, Elizabeth on 37th continues to serve a sumptuous combination of traditional and innovative dishes, directed by Chef Kelly Yambor. The wine program and service staff are led by owners Greg and Gary Butch. Elizabeth on 37th is located in the Victorian District. The mansion, built for a cotton broker, is decorated with historic Savannah colors and patterns, fresh flowers, original paintings and ceramics, and is entered through fragrant herb gardens. *We are able to seat parties larger than 8, please contact the restaurant for availability via phone or email.     Elizabeth’s is the best class act restaurant in Savannah and Southeast Georgia. Always a fantastic dining experience. Staff is always top notch and on their game. I highly recommend Elizabeth’s to everyone—especially foodies who enjoy fine wine and an historic dining environment!

    Fabulous anniversary dinner! Our server was knowledgeable but not pretentious. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. My husband got the European wines and I got the American and we enjoyed comparing. It's expensive but worth treating yourself!

    Our 3rd visit. A gem.7 course dinner is well worth it. Not too much food, either. A sampling, PEI mussel amuse bouche, butterbean soup, salad, flounder, tenderloin in a wine reduction, a classic. Apple and cranberry crumble with cardamon ice cream, yum. The restaurant resudes in a Victorian 100 year old home. Service was excellent with a very kind, knowledgeable, and professional head waiter and friendly, efficient staff. They have James Beard winning history and should receive more accolades. Michelin stars worthy

    Didn't know about price fixed menu. Said I couldn't have alcohol in my food was told not a problem and they adjusted my food by removing the sauces. But nothing was added, and food was dry and tasteless. We used to love Elizabeth's but not anymore!!

    Wonderful food, lovely ambiance, service was very attentive but felt a little rushed at times when some plates were cleared but everyone had not finished and bill came before we finished. Overall - highly recommend

    The restaurant only offers a pre-fixe menu and overall, it was really good for our first-time experience. We got a chance to taste their 7-course fall menu and 2 courses were my favorite. One of them was the oyster and the second was black sea bass! Our server was really kind and sweet -- I only rated this restaurant high because of the service.

    Wow!! Yes, it’s fine dining, but it’s not a stuffy environment. They have done a splendid job to make you feel welcome in a more casual wardrobe (I wore jeans and a button down). I also dined alone and was able to fully immerse myself into the food and wine pairings. I had 3 different, well trained servers help me navigate my experience. The value is supreme as it’s not cheap but it’s not ridiculously expensive; I had to waddle out the door from the amount of delicious food. I’m relocating to Savannah from Nashville, TN in a week, and I see myself coming back time and time again on a regular basis. Thank you for an AMAZING experience! See you again soon! 🤙🏼

    We had a wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary. Chef Kelly wowed with the Fall Tasting menu. A must experience! (Only take a small bite of the pre dinner biscuits. You will need the room for all of the dishes.

    This was our second visit to the restaurant, the previous several years ago. After being seated we realized the evening's menu was prix fixe. Not that it would have changed out minds about going, but would have been nice to know in advance. There were choices to make with several of the seven courses, which was nice. This menu also offered two options for wine pairings if we opted for that (which we did). Our server, Michael, was also the Sommelier. His knowledge of the pairings with each course was excellent. Every course was very good, the plate and wine glass clearing exacting, with each course and Michael's wine pours in sync. A decadent night that was worth the drive from Hilton Head. For the faint of wallet, the meal was over $500 with tip for two. Won't do often, but will do again.

    Fabulous dining experience to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. The ambiance is superb. The staff and owners are very attentive and the 7 course dining experience was delectable. Highly recommended by Nancy and Richard from Floral City FL.

    Such an epic dining, drinking and celebration dining affair! Great hosts, service and more! Waiter, Kim, is person to have on deck as Savannah's most well known waiter and sommelier!

    The night we could get reservations was a Chef Tasting only menu. It was good, BUT, I would like to have had choices for the amount it cost. I am not picky but my wife prefers alternate options. We are all that was brought and it was good. But I will be sure to go on a normal menu night to be safe next time

    Lovely setting, family owned business. For a fine dining experience I would suggest setting the table with cutlery for each course instead of being rolled in a napkin and glassware. Food was served well but too many fish options for our taste.

    So much more than dinner. An amazing experience highlighted by experts like Gary pouring the wines that complement authentic southern dishes that were cooked to perfection. Wine pairing was the best we have ever had.

    We really wanted this place to be amazing as we chose it for our first anniversary dinner. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately that’s really the biggest selling point. Service was good, though it felt a bit rushed. The seating is fairly intimate, which is lovely, but we had poor luck being seated next to a table that forgot what an inside voice is. We listened to a grown man practically shout at his partner for the better part of the evening. The same patron later (accidentally?) tripped one of the waitstaff. Another table nearby provided another distraction as we witnessed what we assume was a breakup - the female companion slammed a couple things down and stomped out the front door. Overall an incredibly awkward atmosphere. The menu itself. We chose the pricier of the two wine pairings and were only offered details on one of them as it was presented. At that price, it would have been nice to have some descriptors or explanations justifying the pairing choices. The food, with the exception of a couple of things, was really underwhelming. Drop biscuits were dry and flavorless. The small bites were ok but seemed reheated and not presented well. Somehow the soup course was actually our favorite - go for the butter bean one. The black bass was soggy and lacked flavor. Tenderloin was pretty good but presented oddly in a chunk vs slices. Dessert - an individual fruit pie w ice cream plopped on top - also missed the mark as it seemed nowhere near as elevated as we’d expect for the price or experience. Overall, we weren’t thrilled to spend that kind of money for the experience we had, and won’t likely return. Savannah has too much good food to waste space on mediocre.
