Amazing food and service. What a gem.
This was a wonderful experience for my husband and myself. The food and service were exceptional. He had the red snapper and I had the halibut. Both very good although my fish could have used alittle more flavoring. Although it was expensive including our wine, it was a wonderful experience. Should we return to Savannah again, we will be having dinner at Elizabeth’s on 37th.
We were vacationing in Savannah with friends and wanted to try this restaurant that so many people had been raving about. It was everything and more! Loved the Ambiance. The food was exquisite. We were impressed with our waiter and were pleasantly surprised that our waiter was actually one of the owners. Can hardly wait to go back.
We went to Elizabeth’s for our anniversary and we are so glad we did! Everything from start to finish was amazing and the foo was incredible! We would definitely pick Elizabeth’s again and not just for special occasions.
We had our visit on our 1st anniversary. I ask
Great food and service in a lovely location. Our best meal in Savannah.
I hadn’t dined at Elizabeth’s since 1989 and I was happy that the wonderful food and charming atmosphere were delightfully intact. I won’t let another 30 years go by before my next visit.
Elizabeth’s is always reliable. We were seated in one of the outlying rooms that lacked the ambiance of the main rooms but the food, wine, and service were excellent
Overall we were satisfied with the food and service. Parking is an issue and the outside of the building needs an update, especially on the side street with the dumpsters in full view!
Still Savannah's VERY BEST and always fortuitous when you have Savannah's best and probably longest running foodie waiter fabulous, Kim! He's an ace in all ways and gentleman from start to finish! My only "issue" which is very slight is that they might reconsider the over head lighting in the corner tables which should be warmly lit and with candles. They're the perfect voyeurism tables and romantic spots but have noted last few times the lighting is very stark white light and no candles so sort of a mood buzz kill. We were able to relocate to a perfect spot so all was salvaged but that's my 10 cents on the feng shui!
A great experience. Relaxed and easygoing reception. The most difficult part was to choose what to eat. Delicious baked mussels opened the meal, followed by an incredible "shrimp taco" served on a shell of Parmesan cheese. The main course was a wonderful combination of flounder and wild mushrooms moistened with a butter and wine sauce, accompanied with spinach and goat cheese. The red snapper was served with potatoes and Brussels sprouts in a brown sauce, all perfect. The capstone was Savannah cream cake, a delicate liquor moistened cake that felt like combination of tiramisu and bread pudding accompanied with whipped cream and a tart fruit sauce. There is more, but you will have to ask Gary about it.
Had a very good meal! The waiters/waitresses were very hospitable. It is European service, so wasn’t always sure who to flag for service. We had an awesome bottle of rose that was not on the menu. We asked about a rose, as we were both having fish. It was excellent and one of the waiters described the region and nuances of the wine as he was serving us. Overall great dining experience.
We loved having dinner at Elizabeth’s! The service was fabulous and the food was inspired. We loved the fireplace and the display of items around the dining room, so cozy!
We have been here several times for dinner. Food, service, and atmosphere are excellent.
Great menu and specials of the day selections.
Awesome food and service.
Have eaten at Elizabeth’s many times, and it is always wonderful. The best restaurant in Savanbah.
Awesome in every respect. One of the top 5 dining experiences of my life. (I am 69 and often dine in NY and other cities.)
Made this reservation based on the suggestion of a foodie friend and I was not disappointed! The service and wait staff were amazing and the food was delicious from the beginning to end. Uber may be a good option here as parking was a small challenge.
Excellent food, excellent service! A fantastic dining experience!
Wonderful meal efficient staff great service. One could not ask for better
Best meal we had during our visit to Savannah. Delicious meal and lovely service.
An outstanding culinary experience. Would recommend Elizabeths to all my friends
This restaurant was one of our favorites in Savannah. Very refined ambiance and the menu very sophisticated. The six of us all ordered different things and we were all thoroughly pleased and very satisfied! So, I will not suggest one thing over another but just say, "Go! And try everything!" What a lovely evening !
Food and service were outstanding. Perfect dining experience. Elegant!
Wonderful evening! We were there with our adult daughter and son-in-law from Southern California. We all enjoyed Elizabeth’s Place.
We love to eat st Elizabeth’s when we come to Savannah.
The food is really superior
Food fancy but amateurish. General feeling was lovely
Such a classy place. The entire experience was outstanding. Service was top notch. Ambience on point. A must if you are visiting Savannah.
Very good restaurant.
A high point of our first visit to Savannah. Service was attentive without being pushy. Our order taken and served by 3 different waitpersons. The scallop/ahi appetizer was to die for. My partner's chicken, a menu regular was juicy and delicious. Wine list exceptional. Not an inexpensive meal, but worth it.
Amazing dinner from start to finish. It's a bit off the touristy trap, which is nice. Parking available off the street. A beautiful old home. Our server made us hungry just describing the specials. Quiet and unassuming. The food was wonderful with excellent ingredients. I started with the mozzarella and tomatoes which had pecan pesto. so unusual and so good. Then I had the salmon, beautifully prepared with a hint of ginger and a wasabi aioli if you chose to dip it. Dessert is out of the box, wonderfully prepared. This was a major hit and we will come back and recommend to all our friends.
Great food and ambiance. Service was great
The food was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful.
Nothing inventive or special in the food. It was good and aok. Building smells of dampness and must as soon as you enter the doors. I would not return.
Wonderful experience !! Food & Service great
Loved that it was in old home in a neighborhood
My Sister and I took our Father out for dinner . We were impressed by the service level. the food was very good I had the red snapper ate every bit. The shrimp taco was good also but the cheese pie was the best cheese cake I ever ate. My Father really enjoyed his dinner.
Scallops and flounder were excellent. Salads and other entree good. Interesting building
E loved this gem of Savannah- I had visited 25 years before - still stellar dining! Thanks for a special experience!
