Bijou Resto – Bar at the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal
Excellent personable service from our waiter Noah for the special occasion of a 50th birthday . It really made the difference to have such wonderful service especially as we were only a small group of 6 . he answered our question re menu, offering options, checking often on us and of course singing happy birthday with us to the birthday boy:-))).will be back next year and hope to have similar service . Keep up the great work and have Noah mentor new staff .. he is young, energetic and great at his job .
It was a nice experience and the food was good, especially the main course I had the Jambalaya. I was not to impressed with the sampler .
we were a group of 3, 2 of us ordered salads for dinner (Harmonious chicken Salad) which was good this is my go to meal at this restaurant. the 3rd person ordered the salmon and was not pleased with it. found it to dry a little over cooked.
All good thx
The food was really good, big portions, food was served hot. I was quite impressed. Just a little loud with the music in the background.
The high tables with the benches where a pain as I am quite short. I had to ask to switch but even the boots where quite high to get into.
Overall a very nice place and will certainly go back.
That was the worst meal I have ever had in Montreal! Not one person in our group of 8 enjoyed their meal, nobody finished the food on their plate. The meals were tasteless, the meat was not tender. By far my worst dining experience ever in Montreal.
Delicious! Waiter was incredible!
j'ai eu droit au corps etranger en plastique dans la soupe mais elle etait excellente jusque la
Elixor has excellent salads and staff always provide great service. Love their Kale salad! One of my favorite restaurants for lunch. Highly recommend and shall be back :)
consistently good. huge menu with varied food types means something for everyone.
We were a group of 8 trying out the shrimp festival.
$27.95 for all you can eat shrimps cooked three ways, grilled, sautéed with garlic and broiled butterflied, served with choice of side potatoes and to start a soup & salade and tea or coffee
After the appetizers we were informed that the butterflied broiled option was not available. No attempt to compensate or correct the issue. I asked to speak to the manager and the host who seated us now wearing an apron & serving other tables said they were out of this style of shrimp. The restaurant was two thirds empty and it was 6:30pm. As he walked away I suggested he offer
either a discount or some for of compensation. The main dishes came three orders sautéed two orders grilled and two dishes didn’t show up and one of us ordered the pad Thai dish. Esthela our waitress apologized multiple times but still NO food. Finally over 15 minutes after the rest of us were done with the first round, Esthela came out with three dishes of each the sautéed & grilled. She was sad about the way the service went and apologized again.
Finally we finished eating and one of the guests asked to speak to the manager. The same fellow came over and offered only one dessert to one of the two guests who didn’t get their first dish as ordered. He also made it a point to repeat that only that guest
could eat it and NOT share it with me or anyone else! Aside from
that gesture that was forced upon him many of us found it rude.
I brushed it off as a sarcastic joke.
Overall the service was fine with Estella but the kitchen and management really failed us on the long delay of service and NO customer support.
Friendly service, good portions except for salads they were huge.
Good varied selection for almost all appétits...
Restaurant was good. Would recommend. Service was good as it was a lunch with limited time.
Great portions! The chef must like tumeric because that distinct flavor (which I'm not a big fan of, but my friend was) was present in almost every dish we ordered. Loved the decor. Thanks for a great meal!
Ma nourriture n'étais pas cute comme je l'avais demandée. Le service étais vraiment long.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the West Island. Service is great and lunch specials provide lots of choices from salads to pasta to meat. Highly recommend and shall be back :)
Definitely would recommend open table. Upon arrival, there is no waiting and we were seated right away. We had the salad meals. Delicious 😋. We found the drinks expensive. My glass of wine was 9$ and my husband’s beer 🍺 was 8$. Other than that, we had an enjoyable time. The waiter was very pleasant.
Food was very good and portions were generous. Nice ambiance.
My aunt and I love dining at Elixor given they have my favorite Kale salad. We come here for lunch once a month and we are always satisfied with the great service and excellent meals. Highly recommend :)
Consistent and tasty food. Good value and good service.
Service (waiter who is a French teacher by trade) was exceptional! Great selection of food
When my friend found time to go for a drink after tennis, I suggested we meet at Elixor, because it is so comfortable to talk in their booths, and I was having a hankering for their extra special avocado egg rolls. It was a perfect place to catch up, and after demolishing the avocado rolls, we ordered and enjoyed equally the bruschetta plate.
Overall decent experience. One of the chairs at our table was broken so we had to have it replaced. When I ordered my draft, I was informed that the keg had to be changed. The beer arrived late (past the appetizer round). Waiter did apologize and kept me updated. What killed the ambiance for me was when they started mopping the floors on the tables next to mine and cleaning. I felt I was in a cafeteria / fast food joint. They did have interesting items on the menu.
I am not sure what service is regularly like, but we went there for Mother's Day and it was brutal. They obviously did not prepare or anticipate how busy they would be. Multiple tables including ourselves had to wait close to 90min before getting our food. Nothing was offered while waiting (not even bread) and when a table would complain they would place the blame on the kitchen. The table beside us asked to speak to the manager and all he could say was "it's not me, there is nothing I can do, it's the kitchen) and proceeded to walk away. Horrible way of dealing with the situation especially if not just one table was stuck waiting so long. I remember going to Elixor in Laval when it first opened and the service was excellent. I am not sure if this is an issue specifically with the West Island location but I was advised by others not to go and against my better judgement I gave it a chance. Will not be making that mistake again. If you are going to offer Brunch and especially on Mother's Day, organize yourselves and be prepared. Don't just shrug your shoulders and say "There's nothing I can do". At least when the food did come, it was very good.
As I stated previously, I had a reservation at 7:45pm on Saturday. I showed up at 7:45pm and gave my name and reservation time. The hostess asked if I made the reservation online, I said yes. She said it was going to be another 45 mins. I asked why, I made a reservation and she replied with "I don't know why my boss doesn't close the table once its reserved so we have no seats for you right now". So my friend and I left. Honestly, it's 7:45pm. I don't want to wait until 8:30pm to get seated and then have an even later dinner. When you make a reservation, it should be honoured.
Everything was good except that we made reservations for 7pm, got there at 7:02 & there was no table was not ready for us until 8pm. We were told they were accepting walk-ins in between reservations so some walk-ins got seats before us. We stood for 30mins but I'm 6mos pregnant & another friend had 5" heels so our feet and backs hurt. After 30mins, we sat the next 30mins at the bar until a server came to get us. The food was great but waiting an hour even with a reservation was a big turn off.
Does not compare to location in Laval. Service was great but the food was barely mediocre. The drinks were severely watered down. Definitely will not be revisiting this restaurant anytime in the future. Which is sad to say because the service was actually fantastic.
I've eaten at Elixor in DDO 4 times since last Oct- 2x for business and 2x my husband and I met friends for dinner and the food and service as well as atmosphere have been excellent! Highly recommend you try for yourself!
Had a birthday celebration at Elixor - The food was delicious, the service by Angelo was fantastic, and the ambiance was perfect, for a Saturday at around 5:00pm it was not too busy nor too empty. Had a great time overall.
Nice clean restaurant, reservation is absolutely necessary , good portions and price "normal"
Overall , nice experiences, recommended.
Good quality food, interesting choices and great desserts
Very large portions so arrive hungry- good value
This is my third time being there and it gets better and better great food perfect portions and super service.
Elixor is one of our favorite lunch restaurants in the West Island. Their Kale salad is an excellent healthy choice. Great service too :)
It was a very pleasant family get together, the waiter and the food was very good! It was our second visit and we appreciated being away from the windows in the extremely cold weather.
The food was delicious!! Great service and nice decor
The fish was avarage.
The entrance of fried wrapped avocado was delicious, as well the jambalaya.
The cheese cake was outstanding.
As interior designer, was not pleasant. It was bulky look and the lighting is ugly.
The place is just ok.
Assiette de filet mignion avec crevettes excellente ainsi que le steak de thon wow.... et genereuse portion menu enfant poir 8$.... je vais retourner 😆
Great menu, great food, great ambiance! Recommend for anyone to come!
We went for brunch, limited menu.
We enjoy their lunches and dinners much more
Service was a little slow
Service was very pleasant. Tried new item on menu- seafood linguine which was very disappointing as it was really a big bowl of pasta, 3 shrimp and lots of cut up sausage - they were very gracious in taking it back and allowing me to select another item from the menu. However, by this time my husband had finished his dinner and so I tasted my meal and then packed it up to go.
