great meal and great service as usual. Consistently excellent.
Dined there on Friday, April 13, 218. We had the greek dips served with warm pita bread(very tasty) I had a snapper special my husband had the salmon wrapped in filo dough. Both entrees were delicious.
A nice venue for Greek easter
This is a local neighborhood place, very "old Brooklyn", (as am I) and very expert in its food preparation, its wine list (mostly Greek) and the longevity and food knowledge of its staff. When you add its easily accessibility from the Belt Parkway and its valet parking (not a small bonus in this crowded corner of Bay Ridge) you wind up with a wonderful dining experience.
Live in the neighborhood, live tho solace but don't come often , probably because it's quite expensive. Definitely recommend the appetizer w/hummus. My daughter and I devoured it. I could of had this with a salad and would have been full but instead ordered the moussaka which was awesome but so filling. The fried calamari has s different spin with amazing fried veggies included, definitely a nice change from the ordinary. Try the rice pudding or Greek yogurt with honey & walnuts for dessert, you'll ask yourself why don't I eat this everyday since yogurt is so good for you. We frequent many nice Bay Ridge restaurants, this one is definitely on the higher priced side, would definitely be there more if prices were a little cheaper
A great neighborhood spot for Mediterranean food. The seafood is among the best I've ever had.
Delicious food and attentive staff in a warm, inviting setting.
Elia is probably one of the best restaurants in Bay Ridge. The food is always outstanding, no matter what you order. The service is also wonderful. However, is is very expensive and the portions are very small. We tend to save this restaurant for special occasions.
The service and food were impeccable. I chose a wonderful sea bass for my entree and it was perfectly cooked and served without bones. Amazing food.
Great food, great service at a reasonable price. Comfortable atmosphere where you can hear without a struggle.
Great food had fun.
Its Greek to me...and by far the best!!!! Amazing greek dishes and excellent wines!
Visited Elias restaurant for the first time on Valentine's Day and loved it! The spanakopita, lamb chops, and salmon were amazing. Definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the food and had a nice selection from which to choose. Our waiter, however, seemed annoyed in having to wait on us, as if he had other things to do. When he finally left the bill, he literally dropped it on the table as he rushed by without even looking at us or thanking us for dining there. We felt as if no one cared if we dined there or not.
Delicious roasted chicken, braised lamb shank and lemon potatoes. Food was top notch. Service was slow, not very friendly and one side dish was not remembered. But the food was excellent.
Food was great! Been here before, good environment drinks were okay.
When you sit down you get this little bowl of olives. They were delicious so my wife and I asked for some more, had no idea it would cost us an extra
With the exception of the out-of-place brightly fluorescent menus (literally) this restaurant boasts a traditional, clean and romantic ambiance. The food is beautiful and delectable every time we dine. Mussels, octopudi, and market fishes of the day are prepared well, perfectly seasoned/paired with a delicate hand over oil. Never leave feeling unhealthily stuffed but light, healthy and filling Mediterranean
Great food with a nice, romantic ambience.
The food is always fantastic. Every time I go there, I leave wondering why I don't go there more often.
Five Stars on every level. the food, service, atmosphere and the FOOD are right on the money. Set up for all ocassions
Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is fantastic
The lamb chops were some of the best I've ever had. Their grilled shrimp main dish was lovely, especially paired with the pomegranate. I really enjoyed their rice pudding. However, they need to work on their other desserts. The baklava was bland, as was the chocolate cake.
Elia has fantastic food and atmosphere. It is a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal.
The food is always great, it’s fresh, tasty and never over seasoned, I try and take my clients there as often as possible. The owner is a sweetheart, and his staff members have been with him a long time. I recommend getting every single appetizer.
you always get a good meal here. service is great as is the food
We have been coming here for years. Always a great meal and a good time. One of a kind experience. You won’t be disappointed.
Always delicious and always excellent service. Not much more to say except this place is always on point.
Service was exceptional as well as dinner!
Wonderful night out with friends.
Excellent service and food as usual, my new go-to place in Bay Ridge
Always a wonderful dining experience! Staff is friendly! Food is always fantastic!
Really enjoy this restaurant. Food is great and so is the ambiance.
This was our first visit to Elia and we will be back for sure. The quality of all of our dinners was excellent ( Greek Salad, Lamb Shank, Shrimp, Salmon) as was the rice pudding. The service was first rate and the ambiance was relaxing as the noise level was low, a rarity these days. Pete the owner was very gracious as well. can't wait to return.
This restaurant is consistently good. Fresh read and olives to start. House white wine is even good.
Reliable and cozy too.
This is my second dinner at Elia. As always, great dinner selection and my roasted chicken with lemon sauce was succulent, tender, and delicious. I can't stop thinking about it! Will be back soon.
Every time we go to Elia our food is delicious and the service is great!
We had a wonderful evening eating outside on their patio! The food was exceptional! An absolutely perfect experience!!! We've been here before and we are always satisfied and delighted with food, service and ambiance.
Always delicious and fresh food. Never a wait for a table. Bronzini is outstanding !
The saganaki was amazing and too good, my dinner guests made me share!!!!!!
Great food as always. Fresh plenty to eat and the service is friendly and prompt
Still the best restaurant in Bay Ridge. Amazing food from the freshest ingredients. The Saganaki and Branzino are not to be missed.
A lovely dining experience, from the greeting at the door and the gracious, attentive wait staff to truly outstanding food. The back courtyard us exceptionally charming, with a water feature and stone walls. I recommend the lamb dish in the clay pot. And the dirty (vodka) martini, which is one of the better I've had. A kind of perfect evening.
