Dined there on Friday, April 13, 218. We had the greek dips served with warm pita bread(very tasty) I had a snapper special my husband had the salmon wrapped in filo dough. Both entrees were delicious.

This is a local neighborhood place, very "old Brooklyn", (as am I) and very expert in its food preparation, its wine list (mostly Greek) and the longevity and food knowledge of its staff. When you add its easily accessibility from the Belt Parkway and its valet parking (not a small bonus in this crowded corner of Bay Ridge) you wind up with a wonderful dining experience.

Live in the neighborhood, live tho solace but don't come often , probably because it's quite expensive. Definitely recommend the appetizer w/hummus. My daughter and I devoured it. I could of had this with a salad and would have been full but instead ordered the moussaka which was awesome but so filling. The fried calamari has s different spin with amazing fried veggies included, definitely a nice change from the ordinary. Try the rice pudding or Greek yogurt with honey & walnuts for dessert, you'll ask yourself why don't I eat this everyday since yogurt is so good for you. We frequent many nice Bay Ridge restaurants, this one is definitely on the higher priced side, would definitely be there more if prices were a little cheaper

Elia is probably one of the best restaurants in Bay Ridge. The food is always outstanding, no matter what you order. The service is also wonderful. However, is is very expensive and the portions are very small. We tend to save this restaurant for special occasions.

Visited Elias restaurant for the first time on Valentine's Day and loved it! The spanakopita, lamb chops, and salmon were amazing. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the food and had a nice selection from which to choose. Our waiter, however, seemed annoyed in having to wait on us, as if he had other things to do. When he finally left the bill, he literally dropped it on the table as he rushed by without even looking at us or thanking us for dining there. We felt as if no one cared if we dined there or not.

Delicious roasted chicken, braised lamb shank and lemon potatoes. Food was top notch. Service was slow, not very friendly and one side dish was not remembered. But the food was excellent.

With the exception of the out-of-place brightly fluorescent menus (literally) this restaurant boasts a traditional, clean and romantic ambiance. The food is beautiful and delectable every time we dine. Mussels, octopudi, and market fishes of the day are prepared well, perfectly seasoned/paired with a delicate hand over oil. Never leave feeling unhealthily stuffed but light, healthy and filling Mediterranean

The lamb chops were some of the best I've ever had. Their grilled shrimp main dish was lovely, especially paired with the pomegranate. I really enjoyed their rice pudding. However, they need to work on their other desserts. The baklava was bland, as was the chocolate cake.

The food is always great, it’s fresh, tasty and never over seasoned, I try and take my clients there as often as possible. The owner is a sweetheart, and his staff members have been with him a long time. I recommend getting every single appetizer.

This was our first visit to Elia and we will be back for sure. The quality of all of our dinners was excellent ( Greek Salad, Lamb Shank, Shrimp, Salmon) as was the rice pudding. The service was first rate and the ambiance was relaxing as the noise level was low, a rarity these days. Pete the owner was very gracious as well. can't wait to return.

This is my second dinner at Elia. As always, great dinner selection and my roasted chicken with lemon sauce was succulent, tender, and delicious. I can't stop thinking about it! Will be back soon.
