   The food was amazing from appetizers to desserts The quality and flavor of all dishes was fantastic I had the pork chop and I cut it with my fork The swordfish was cooked to perfection and the paperadale pasta was perfect The desserts where out of this world

   The culinary experience was very pleasing and the food was quite flavorful. The steak was cooked well and packed flavor. The pappardelle pasta was fantastic. The short rib was tasty but I’m used to my short rib being so tender that you don’t need a fork. So , although it was tasty, it fell short of my expectations. The calamari appetizer was fantastic. The 11 mule cocktail was exceptional. And the Candy bar chocolate dessert was decadent. Very tasty and fulfilling. The customer service was timely and by the book.

   Group of 6, ate upstairs. Service and food were outstanding, great place to visit in downtown Pittsburgh

   We highly recommend the upstairs private alcove. It was quiet but with a great view of the bar, not too loud but still very lively. The food was excellent. Prime strip steak and Seafood sampler were incredible. We regretted not trying their homemade ice cream. Perhaps, next time.

   My husband and I were visiting Pittsburgh and I booked a birthday dinner for my sister and her family who live in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. We were seated upstairs, and it had no ambience, but it was ok since we were a party of 6. Everything started out alright with the nice people bringing us bread and water. Then the ZERO personality and seemingly annoyed server showed up. No welcome, no warmth , never smiled….asked for our drink orders. After bringing our drinks she immediately wanted us to order. We said we’d like to catch up a bit and enjoy our cocktails and to come back shortly. She them fumed and walked off. In about 10 minutes we were ready to order, she walked by us several times and kept ignoring us but my husband finally got her attention. We ordered our appetizers and all 6 of us got the pappardelle with crab (easy) and more cocktails and she got it all right and everything was served by the runners in good time. We ordered before-hand a special birthday dessert that she brought to my sister…..no graciousness, no happy birthday, couldn’t even crack a smile. My sister lives in the area and Eleven has always been her favorite, and my husband and I have been there before too on trips back home to Pittsburgh….and we have always loved it. This experience changed everything. We actually felt sorry for her since she obviously was having a bad day and didn’t want to be there and seemingly took it out on us. I still left a 20% tip….not for her but for all the others involved. Normally we tip more if our waiters are a bit gracious…..but not this time. Unfortunately, a damper was put on the experience even tho the food was good. Doubt if we’ll be back.
