Eleven has maintained its excellence over the years. We know our dining experience will be great. It is our favorite restaurant.
Unfortunately, Covid had taken its toll on Eleven based in my recent experience. I have been there several times previously and the food was excellent; the staff made you feel welcome. Yesterday, the manager happened to be at the door and made me feel like I was intruding on his Sunday. The food was bland to terrible. No valet parking as opposed to Casbah later that evening. Definitely a disappointment.
ELEVEN is 'the' go-to place for our special occasions. And so, after being closed for such a long time, we had a lot of celebrating to do. And ELEVEN did not disappoint.

Jonathan was an excellent server. It was our first visit to this establishment we will return certainly. Our only complaint is that it was a little too warm inside.

Honestly, the hostess was rude MULTIPLE times, even though we had a reservation and showed up on time for it. The waiter could not leave us alone for more than 5 minutes (was EXTREMELY annoying) and was clearly rude more than once to the point that we had to call him out on it. The one bus boy kept on trying to take our plates while there was food on it, and we were clearly still eating (I actually had to take my half full plate of swordfish($33) out of his hands and tell him I was not done). The place stunk of old people and the decor was clearly for them as well. It was pretty dead (bc of COVID probably), so idk why they were so rude and hasty. I thought this would be a cool new place to try. HA! 0/10. service sucked
Our after work-related Happy Hour event was our first venture to a favorite local establishment and Eleven delighted on nearly every count! Covid-19 conscious additions of Plexiglas barriers were evident and welcomed and my party thought it was very tastefully done, and may have also helped in noise-dampening. The food and drink quality were what we have come to expect; delicious. There are a few favorite menu items that have disappeared, which was a little disappointing. Thankfully, the signature Eleven Burger is a fully-loaded creation that survived the revised menu, and what wasn't finished was taken home and became a second meal!
Justin, our waiter was prompt, pleasant and engaging, so I feel I can speak for the three of us that our return to Eleven was a resounding success! We are so glad to see you back!

I have never been to brunch at Eleven that was delightful. I am usually someone who enjoys the bar side tables, but being that it was the first weekend back from the Covid hiatus, I opted to make a reservation. I was seated at a quaint 2 top for the mister and I. It was clean and quiet and comfortable. The server was a delight. Very polite and charming. He was very attentive and very prompt. The service was excellent, the food was brilliant (although I have never has a single thing here that I didn't love) and the ambience was delightful. I love this restaurant and it continues to be my favorite brunch spot in all of Pittsburgh.

Food was great! Service was not. We love this restaurant and have frequented the establishment many times. However, this time the service was really slow and it was very hot in the restaurant. They finally turned the air on 10 minutes before we left. Hopefully, they’ll get back into the swing of things soon.
Every time I go to Eleven it’s a great experience! The service is always on point and the food is absolutely delicious!

Eleven is one of my favorite places. Looking at that beautiful bar with no one at it makes me sad . I loved eating at that bar. Best oysters in PGH. Couple of places come close but still the best . Service is always good. Be prepared to pay it's a little on the pricey side but it's all relative . Happy it's back open.
Fantastic in all ways! Instead of bread being offered they bring to your table a plate of their bread choices that evening. Also with water they place a stylish carafe on your table. Food as wonderful as always!

I had forgotten how much I love this restaurant. So happy that I was able to finally have oysters. Eleven always has the best oysters. Waiter suggested a new wine, that was amazing. We have been going to Eleven since the day it opened and will continue to enjoy them for years to come. Chris the manager is always so friendly and our waiter was wonderful.

Return customer, and not disappointed. Love happy hour in the bar....brussels sprouts, calamari, and oysters were fantastic. Relaxing $7 drinks in the soft and fun couch area. Wine selection was excellent. Jackie (our server) was friendly and attentive. Great service. On to dinner, salmon, pasta, beet salad and short ribs were all superb. Service was excellent again. Really good value, and even better experience. Will return. If you are visiting Pittsburgh...Eleven is a must do stop.
Food was wonderful as usual. The service was not as good as usual. The waiter seemed Disinterested in being there. He offered no advice regarding food selection or how the brunch menu is laid out.

Several tables were available but only a late reservation was available. Were seated right in front of a group of 8 that were well after dinner and several cocktails - so they were quite loud. Ordered lamb medium, it came out medium rare. Did not get water glass refilled until desert.
For a higher end restaurant, you would expect a little more attention to details.

Disappointed by lack of valet parking at another place, we ended up here at the recommendation of our hotel desk. After entering the restaurant, we were surprised by the striking decor. We were even more surprised by the menu and wine choices, which we found both interesting and fairly priced. The food was really extraordinarily good, sophisticated but never to the point of obscuring the ingredients. Expert, professional, courteous service. If we lived in Pittsburgh, this place would be a favorite.

Great overall experience at Eleven. Food was creative and well presented. Will say the menu changes regularly but the mushroom appetizer was delicious! We were catching up with friends and while we know we had a late sitting, the service was good but was rushing a bit. We were checked on before we even had a minute to greet each other and open our menus. It's a hard balance between attentive and rushing, but missed the mark just a bit here. Overall, great experience and great food for the value.
This was our first time at Eleven. The restaurant and the atmosphere were great. The menu was excellent too. Our only issue was that our server wasn’t great. It’s possible that she was new or that we caught her on an off day. Nothing terrible just not very engaging.

The restaurant is beautiful. We had a nice table for 6 upstairs. It wasn't overly noisy so we could hear one another's conversation. The waiter was polite, professional, and informative. However, the service was quite slow between courses. The most disappointing thing was that everyone at our table received room temperature food. The flavors were good, but the food had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for a while. We would try Eleven again, but can't really recommend the restaurant with enthusiasm. We would recommend, but with a "warning clause".
