We had very high expectations for this restaurant, considering their reputation and rank (no. 5 in the world).
But unfortunately, we were disappointed.
We are just simple diners who enjoy fine dining once in a while, but yet, the couldnt even impress us.
Appertizers were ok, but all the dishes from the fish dish to the beef, they were TOO SALTY! I really mean it when I say salty! We even had to cringe once we tasted them because it was too salty!
Dessert was just ok.. Service? Mediocre.... We conplained that the dishes are way too salty, and she apologized and said something like "will make it up for you somehow with soemthing", but no, we didnt receive anything to make up for the dissappointment. She even forgot to give us our goodie bags (which were given to all the diners).
Definitely not worth the price.

We booked Eleven prior to it being awarded in the top three restaurants in the world. It lived up to expectations and was a memorable lunch in New York- The staff and service- especially Andrew were exceptional which made our day very special. The ambience and attention to detail were also outstanding. We were looked after very very well - which great food and attention and will remember this day.

The sun was streaming through the beautiful windows on a magnificent NY summer's day.

We are recommending this restaurant to all of our Sydney/Australian friends .

Fantastic experience! I went EMP for celebrating anniversary with my boyfriend. The price there is expansive but it worth every penny you spend. The team always wants to make your visit special and memorable, so they provide the warmest service to their customers. Only tasting menu is available but all the courses are prepared with seasonal fresh ingredients and they are delicious. This place is also nice designed, definitely a comfortable, upscale dinning environment. A perfect choice if you want to have a special day with someone important.

Eleven Madison Park is the best restaurant that I've ever eaten at. The caviar and the lobster blew my mind. The pairing of ingredients in every dish was truly a stroke of inspiration.

A pleasure, very expensive but worth every penny.
It is for special occasions, we had a great dinner with wine pairing that are a must to Fully appreciate the meal. Too gargantuesque to describe, the bouchées and dishes are jewels that are as beautiful as they are exquisitely delicious. Monsieur Humm is a artisan like no other.
The menu is very New York in its references and its culinary references. Oysters, eggs benedict, black and white cookie, lobster.
Finally I Would suggest to some patrons to make some effort to dress up a little, there is no dress code but the setting is elegant, the service is impeccable and professionnal, leave the jeans and t-shirt at home.

Simply an awesome experience. Every dish out of the 10 courses was exquisite. My only complaint is that service between courses was sometimes slow. The staff was attentive but also did not interfere with the table's conversation. Allow a LOT of time for dinner. We arrived for our reservation at 7, were promptly seated and left at 11:15. Expensive but worth every penny.

AMAZING chefs table tasting menu is an understatement of bliss, it was a wonderful experience....you must go if you are in NYC! Wish we lived closer so we could go lots. Flying back next year to go again, we are going to make this a yearly weekend trip! Went to NYC to try a bunch of 3 star Michelin venues. Eleven Madison Park was our favorite!
Loved it all the food, the service, the people there were wonderful, what a three Michelin star place should be....thank you eleven Madison park for an amazing evening!

EMP is an experience. It's fun - great for a special occasion. Carts with propane burners rolled out to cook asparagus in a pig's bladder table side. Baked Alaska dessert flambeed on the table. Mini eggs benedict. Guess the chocolate games. A show, a spectacle. The food is good, but nothing mindblowing. They reuse a lot of ingredients (probably to cut costs) - we had morel in 3-4 dishes. Same as fava beans. Disguised but still repeated. Several dishes were a touch too salty (the savory black and white cheddar biscuit, the lamb, lamb broth). Some were too sweet (baked alaska). That being said, the poached maine lobster was delicious. As was the mini eggs benedict and the fresh baked mini English muffins. And the cocktails were ON POINT. So balanced, inventive, amazing. Nevertheless, food was not perfect as one would expect from the price tag and a 3 michelin restaurant. I've eaten at various MIchelin restaurants around the world (ranging from bib gourmand to 1/2/3 stars) and I've had better food there. But this was about the experience. We got to do a kitchen tour and had a lot of fun.
Service was slightly rushed. Wait staff were not as hospitable as one would expect from a Danny Meyer restaurant.

Some of the courses were exceptional, but not all. We were definitely disappointed with the course they called a cheese course. The wine list was excellent but also overpriced in our estimation. We had been to Jean Georges a few nights before this, and we thought the overall experience there much superior. We were enchanted by Jean Georges and not by 11 Madison Park. Service, although excellent, seemed a bit scripted, which it probably is; but perhaps by virtue of so few choices, it's going to be that way. We would not return considering the value and the wider, and in our opinion better, opportunities elsewhere.

Eleven Madison Park represents, to me, the greatest dining experience I have had. It wasn't just the quality of the food but the ambiance, service, and attention to detail. My servers were absolutely phenomenal. They engaged with my banter, happily tended to any of my needs, and honestly made my experience what it was meant to be. My one server even gave me a recipe to her favourite cocktail.

The food was phenomenal. Everything from the Cheez-it-like amuse to the complex morel custard was a well planned journey. And don't even forget about the bread course, which featured cultured butter topped with dehydrated cheddar bits and served with Vermont sea salt, something I had 3 rounds of.

The whole thing is an experience, though. At the beginning, you get to choose a few of your plates. When you are about to leave, they gift you with a jar full of their delicious granola and a little caviar container containing your exact meal in order.

If you're in the New York area and want a truly unique dining experience, I can't recommend Eleven Madison Park enough.

The French haute cuisine style, but without imagination, creativity and excitement. Technical mostly good performance, but too simple meals and the unacceptable repetition of the ingredients. The main course for person who does not eat meat was marinated asparagus, and one of the desserts were strawberries with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sorbet of elderflower. Are these dishes for a restaurant of such a reputation? If you ate at top Parisian chefs like Allenoa, Passard or Gagnairea then dishes of chef Daniel Hummel are completely uninteresting. Compared to the San Pellegrino list of the best restaurants of the world - the fourth placed Eleven Madison has nothing in common with the first three restaurants Can Roca, Noma and Osteria Francescana. These restaurants are innovative, brave, intriguing, pushing the boundaries of gastronomy and open up new horizons. Eleven Madison does nothing of it and not worth that money.
