Fantastic food and setting. Sean our waiter was attentive and efficient Woyld highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The Sunday brunch was wonderful!
Is a really nice and pretty restaurant and the food is outstanding. the people is nice . I love it.
Food and service were both extremely poor, particularly for the price
It was a great atmosphere for a nice date night. The prices were good, service great and the noise level was really nice. There were others talking but it wasn't too loud. Our waitress even recommended a wine to go with my boyfriends entree choice which was really nice.
The staff was amazing, especially on a busy night like Valentine’s Day. The food was great, good ingredients and clearly handmade and fresh.
My husband & I have always been very happy with the service, ambiance and variety of food offered. 1149 is our go to for special occasions! The Sunday Brunch is absolutely amazing and the Monthly Diva Wine Dinner is fabulous!!
Very good time with dinner with my wife on Valentines Day and the service was great too
First time at 1149 on Valentines day for dinner, didn't disappoint! The drinks, food and service was very good. Wait staff was also very good. The menu isn't huge but definitely something for everyone. There was a loud party of four sitting nearby that was annoying but no fault of the restaurant. A little pricey but we expected that being an upper scale venue. Will certainly be going back on occasion, I hear that the Sunday brunch is second to none. Great job, thanks!
Food was excellent, and our server was very pleasant, and right there when we needed her.
Very good food and plenty of it; we enjoyed the menu and beer list. A bit noisy, but not terribly so.
As always, Eleven Forty Nine's brunch is beyond words !!
Food was very good, service not so much. Long wait for drinks and dinner but check came quickly
Very nice Sunday brunch. Really like how they make the pasta and omelets in the kitchen instead of waiting in a long line. Food was very good.
Great Restaurant good service good food everybody’s family was an enjoyable evening
Good food good service.
My mom has been a couple of times and liked it so we used restaurant week as an excuse to go for lunch. The ambiance is ok and there’s always this looping, funky music playing.
The service was friendly but the food was very disappointing this time. My mom loves chicken Marsala but the dish that was served had what tasted more like a sweet soy sauce. She mentioned it and they offered her an alternative which was nice.
For dessert we had the choice of a brownie Sunday or “funfetti” cake. As a millennial I loved the nostalgia of funfetti but the actual cake had a weird dry texture and was totally flavorless. My mom got be brownie but didn’t eat it cause it was hard as a rock. Really, you probably could have used that brownie as a brick to build a house.
We’d probably return as we’ve had positive experiences before but I’d recommend avoiding restaurant week as they clearly aren’t offering their best for the occasion.
We took our kids here to celebrate our son's 12th birthday. Everything was perfect! We were seated it a cozy booth with plenty of room, the waitstaff were all very professional and a delight to speak with, and the food was terrific! Our dinner of filet mignon was cooked to perfection. I absolutely will be going back here.
Excellent service. All the staff was very attentive.
I went to the restaurant as part of Providence Restaurant week so I had a three course meal for around $16. There were enough choices that my friend and I could both choose an appetizer, entree and dessert that we liked. My entree of fish and chips was so large that I took some home for another meal.
I've been to 1149 before and always been satisfied.
Been to this restaurant many times however this lunch was not good. My mother-in-law was looking for the Haddick that they had always had for lunch was no longer served. The column Mari that we had as an appetizer was overcooked the crabcakes as an appetizer were mostly something very little crab. The entrées were fair, the desserts not very good. We had always had a very good experience at this restaurant and for the amount of money that they charge I get expected to be better than it was
We had a reservation so we were seated on time. The restaurant is very nice and the service was perfect. We had tickets to a show so when I told our server, she immediately got our check and we were right on time to the show.
The food, though, was excellent! We had the Providence Restaurant week special with the clam chowder and shrimp with linguine and the shrimp with linguine was sooo good. The shrimp was a bit spicy and the pasta almost a little sweet.
A most delicious meal!
We love 1149 for brunch and have recommended it to many of our friends. In fact, we are going with friends again next weekend (only because we already had the plans in place). But, wow! You guys were off your game last weekend. I ordered a shrimp omelette (my favorite). I was not told by the waiter that was no longer an option. Instead, another server, brought me an over cooked spinach omelette. In addition, they messed up my son’s omelette order too.
They charged us for our children under 6 years old.
The fish selection was microscopic baby shrimp stir fry.
Really, really bummed.
Food was tremendous! Service was exceptional!
The brunch at 1149 has really gone downhill. A hot dog bar and what appeared to be chinese food have replaced items such as prime rib and pasta bar. The mimosas were 100% orange juice and our server/hostess tried to seat 7 adults and 2 children into what appeared to be a half booth and would accommodate 4-5 people. We will find somewhere else to spend that kind of money for brunch.
The hostess most definitely could have been friendlier. She was extremely unpleasant. Other than that, it was a great experience
Dinner was great , the only negative was there was an obnoxiously loud table behind us. The food and service were wonderful
New Year’s Eve
Sunday brunch on New Year’s Eve. Food was awesome, fresh, hot and delish! It is a beautiful, large restaurant that still maintains the ambiance for a romantic or casual experience.
We live near 1149, but that is NOT the reason we go there. We love sitting in the bar for lunch, but this night we dined in the dining room....cozy table in a corner for us five, our children and grandson. Food, drinks, and very attentive server made our evening a huge success.
