Enjoyed the breakfast foods for the brunch. Not crazy about the chowder. The prime rib was fantastic. The coffee was very good as well. Nick, out waiter was great.
The brunch was amazing! So many selections, all done so beautifully!!! The staff was accommodating and friendly and we had a wonderful day with our friends there!!
To celebrate my son’s birthday along with his wife and us the parents
Our server was fantastic, very attentive. The corned beef was super tender and tasty, but the bacon was just shy of burned and the eggs seemed like the “boil in bag” variety, with no flavor and crumbly. The fruit display was fresh and crisp, and the desserts had something for everyone. We assumed it was scaled back due to many people being at St Patty’s parades. Wasn’t at their “best” that particular day, but we’ve been before and had great experiences, so we’ll go back again.
Eleven 49 is a good place for lunch. Saturday night we went for dinner. Food was very good. We had an enjoyable time. I do love it for lunch with a girlfriend, they sure know how to do lunch! We will be back.
I already recommended Eleven Forty Nine to family and friends.
I have been here a few times before. Always loved their Caesar salad, with a lemony dressing. This time we came for dInner before the theater, so a 5:30 reservation. Liked the menu. One of us had salmon and bought a la carte broccoli (or would have had a bare plate) one had chicken marsala, and I ordered a cheeseburger, medium-well, no fries, Caesar salad on the side. Salmon was quite good, chicken was OK, my burger was delivered rare - red and gooey inside. I sent it back and the same burger was returned l, after a few seconds cut side down on the grill, now pink inside, still undercooked. Service was slow considering the restaurant was sparsely filled. Must have been an off night.
Had a better experience sitting at the bar 4 weeks back
much too loud I like a background of chatter but the noise level is very high and further compounded by the fact that you have music playing in the background! We had to shout (sort of) to hear ourselves. Staff was very good -courteous and pleasant
Went for brunch and although the food was OK the price is very high . They had two carving stations, turkey and prime rib. Sounds great but the turkey was dry as can be and they were out of the prime rib both times I went up. Sure I could have waited but wanted to enjoy breakfast with my companion. The home fries were cold and the taco station was something I child could make. I heard many good things about the brunch and unfortunately was disappointed. Will not be back
Dining at Eleven Forty Nine was an amazing experience. We drove up from Connecticut based on the fact they were offering a brunch buffet. We didnt look at any further details and when we arrived we were blown away. Great food, great service and great ambiance. Pasta and eggs Benedict made to order were spectacular. Highly recommended!
We've been to the Sunday Brunch many times and often bring family and friends with us. It's awesome! There is something for everyone. We eat so much that we don't have to eat again for the day. Best Brunch we've ever been to and will continue to go back again and again.
Service and food were good however there was a party in the back room and it was very loud
Two for Tuesdays is a fantastic deal - getting two meals for the price of the one that is more expensive. In addition, one can also purchase a bottle of wine fifty percent off. The chicken saltimbocca was excellent as was the accompanying broccoli. However, it would have been more enjoyable if a potato was also included. I noticed on the menu that the chicken marsala did include potato and vegetable. My dining partner really loved the very tasty and perfectly- prepared penne vodka with chicken.
Wonderful Sunday brunch!
My boyfriend and I are in our forties and googled brunch places close by to where we were and found this. The place has a great feel to it. We came by at 10:45am, and promptly seated. I ordered the endless mimosa, it was room temperature so I asked for a side of ice. It definitely tasted like mostly orange juice. We went up to buffet. Most of the hot buffet food was cold or luke warm like the eggs, home fries, crab cakes, veggies, mostly everything except the prosciutto wrapped sole which was hot and delicious. The prime rib was excellent, as was the eggs Benedict. The cold station everything was fresh and delicious. Desserts were tasty and fresh. Our server was attentive. We were seated in a small room with a lot of children under age 5, so it was loud, had a hard time hearing each other but made the best of it. I think next time we will sit at the bar. I think we will give it another shot.
This was a gift to me and the whole experience with two of my friends was a very enjoyable one. Our waiter was very attentive to our every need, was always looking out for us to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone, in fact I hope to be back and for that purpose I registered for a VIP card. My hopes to return are high.
Always love the brunch! A great price for AWESOME food!
Always consistently great. Wait staff outstanding
We had a great experience dining here. Food was great and the service was excellent. We were surprised with the special deals that we received on Tuesday and we certainly appreciate the opportunity to dine and relax in a truly wonderful atmosphere. Eleven Forty Nine dining , I highly recommend it, we loved it and hopefully, so will you. Kudos to our Waitress, Michelle.
We went on a Tuesday night and that is the night to go. The bottles of wine are half price and the entrees are buy one get one. The service was very good, the atmosphere good but unfortunately the food was only ok. I ordered the short rib which was tasty but there was no extra juice/gravy. The mashed potatoes were stone cold which was good for my diet because they were not edible. The vegetables were tasty. Our friend got the seafood risotto and it was good except he said the mussels
were very dried out as if they had been sitting a long time. So much potential. Hope they can get it together.
Varied lunch menu, attentive but not intrusive service, could talk, meet old friends without being disturbed.
Not the same 1149 it’s been over a year since I have dined there
Food not up to par. Service just fair
Appetizer of Calamari was very salty. Prime Rib cooked to order but was very tough. 3 other meals were okay but not outstanding. We left there at 8PM on a Saturday night. Restaurant and Bar were 1/2 empty. That should tell them they need to fix quality of food and service to get back to what they were. Which was a pretty good restaurant. No longer are they in that category
The new buy one, get one after 4 some days is unbelievable.
I love everything about this restaurant. Great food, great service, reasonably priced, and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for a business lunch or a nice dinner out with friends and family. On top of that, the location is incredible. It's literally right off the highway!
We enjoyed another fabulous brunch. The selection of foods was outstanding and our server was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back again.
Fantastic service and great food. Despite being a hectic and busy evening, the staff was pleasant and the food came out quickly, but not so quickly that we felt we were being rushed. The food itself was phenomenal! The calamari was amazingly well seasoned and the breading was perfectly light and crisp. The short rib was perfectly cooked and the penne with chicken in pink vodka sauce was perfect. The sorbet was a perfect wrap up. Look forward to coming back again!
Valentine and wife’s birthday
The Valentine’s Day menu choices were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner and our wine choice. Our waiter was very attentive and enhanced our experience.
Another great dining experience at one of our favorite restaurants!
Overpriced mediocre food (pizza terrible, tasted like Ragu sauce)
Colleagues last day working with us
We've been coming here since they first open and gone through many changes in the menu. This was the most disappointing and I'll give just one example. Originally they had a build your own burger which I liked a lot. Then they switched to bringing out all of the ingredients and you would build your own burger at your table. That was not as tasty and frankly very wasteful. This time the burger had predefined toppings. I asked if I could decide what I wanted (build your own) and I was told, no, it has to be the way it is listed on the menu. Really? I asked again and was told them same. I had a salad.
Excellent service, ambiance and food! Great selection of local craft beer on draft.
A friend and I decided to try the new lunch menu. Prices are definitely higher and substitutions are also an additional charge. We both chose the grilled chicken club wrap which consisted of bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, mayo served on a wood fired flat bread. Presentation was lovely with the two halves standing up and a bowl of very delicious chips with pickles on the top. The sandwich was good, just not great and now 1149 charges an additional cost to substitute the chips with fries or a salad. Obviously, to eat healthy, one needs to pay more. In the past, they had substituted a small vegetable at no extra cost. Overall, it was good, just a bit disappointing.
Service was outstanding, pizza was good, pasta was delicious but the Filet of Beef was over cooked.
Two for one great
We went looking for good prime rib. Took about 10 minutes to get drinks. Had to ask for specials. Prime rib was woefully undercooked, but our waiter never checked on us so we had to ask another server for help. Mashed potatoes tasted terrible. Prime rib did not look or taste like prime rib. Took forever to get the check. Very pricey meal for such low quality and service. We will not return.
P.S. Not the restaurant’s fault, but there was a very loud woman at a nearby table that rounded out our terrible experience.
Went for a weekend lunch. The server was very abrupt and did not know the menu. Food was extremely poor in taste and quality and value. The food used to be much better. Very disappointing and will not be back.
Had the prime rib, which was delicious...however the asparagus side was hard and crunch(not to my liking, or my wife's), and I was charged $10 for a Caesar Salad...$10!!---no chicken, 6 croutons, minimal dressing and cheese only on top
The service and atmosphere were terrific. The food was just so so. It lacked flavor. There were three of us dining and all thought the same thing. And my drink, a signature pear drink of theirs was not good.
