Eleven Eleven Mississippi Ratings and Reviews
The atmosphere was very cozy. We had a cocktail before dinner with some causal conversation.at our part had The food was excellent, all in our party had the ribeye. It was cooked to perfection. Tim, our waiter, was attentive and knowledgeable, giving just the right amount of attention to our group. A perfect evening!
Met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time, we stayed three hours. Our server was pleasant and helpful, never pushy or aggravated. The food was fantastic, they have a delicious drink and food menu. Wonderful experience. Great for a date, meeting up with a friend, or brunch on the patio for any occasion.
The food was delicious! As a vegetarian I find most places in Saint Louis are just okay to find vegetarian options, especially if I don't look at the menu ahead of time. However, Eleven Eleven hit it out of the park with their New Years Eve menu (every course had a vegetarian option). The vegetarian food at some places can be just 'so-so' but they really made every dish scrumptious. They never disappoint with ambiance and food.
Went on NYE, 2017. Live in the neighborhood and have gone a number of times over the years. Food is always good to very good, sometimes service is a little lacking. They were fully staffed, with lots of folks stopping by to offer service to our table. Restaurant was pretty full when we were there from about 7-8:30, but talking in normal tones not a problem. I'd strongly recommend Planters House down the street for top notch drinks before or after dinner.
Wife and sister in laws food was great. My ribeye was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and so cold that it would not melt the butter that they had placed on it. If we had more time, I would've sent it back, but I wouldn't want them to heat it up because that would've over cooked it. Service was a little slow, but they were busy. Everything else was very good.
I would go back.
LOVE IT! Just moved into the area and friends and family had recommended several times over. When friends from Denver came into town, this is the first place we thought of and we were not disappointed. Loved the fact that I tried something new and unexpected for my palate when I tried the braised rabbit....so delicious. Can't wait to go back again and they are within walking distance!!
We were visiting St.Louis over the holidays and wanted some place for a good dinner. Eleven eleven did not disappoint! Everything about our experience was positive. Excellent service—wish I could remember server’s name!!! Delicious food! Cool specials. Yummy wine. Lovely ambiance. Make a reservation and have a great meal!!
Despite it being on the early side with numerous tables open, this was the second time my friend and I were seated upstairs at one of the almost community tables that are right on top of each other all in a row We both had the salmon, and I’ve watched the ones thick cut grow smaller and smaller each time I’ve ordered it over the years . It was nearly a flat piece of salmon for both of us. Would prefer a smaller piece provided it were thicker like it used to be Server seemed preoccupied and took a very long time to bring our drinks, both rounds Used to really love and recommend this place, but feelings have changed over the past two years now for these reasons.
I've been before and service was "OUTSTANDING" but this time OMG, it was if we and came and upset their timing or "dawg" why are they here it was really strange No smiles no Hello welcome to Eleven Eleven Mississippi. The first time I went it was very upbeat and friendly service. Maybe it was just a off night ?
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Eleven Eleven Mississippi! We brought our 3 adult children and their spouses/significant others. The service was impeccable. Timing by our waitress was spot on...there when we needed something but no hovering. The food was delicious. The Boar Sausage Ravioli, The Rabbit, and The Wild Mushrooom with Polenta and Shrimp were all 10’s! And finally the ambiance for our group was perfect. With 8 of us we were seated at a round table in a cozy corner that allowed us to have conversation without shouting.
A very special evening for the holidays, it was perfect!
Pretty straight forward menu in a beautifully restored brick building. They offer a ribeye and fillet mignon for red meat eaters. Decent pasta and seafood options. Not sure if they have a signature dish but they do these menu staples well. The atmosphere is vibrant and casual. Wait staff is friendly.
We had a weekday dinner with friends, and it was a superb dining experience. Everything was excellent: food, ambiance, service, and noise level. We were able to converse with our friends easily (which can't be said for many restaurants these days).
I had the braised pork shank, my wife had the wild boar lasagne. We each ate half and switched plates; both dishes were outstanding.
We'll definitely be back!
