I went to Eleven B for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty quiet - as it's more of an evening spot. But they treated me extremely well. The pizza was out of this world and I also enjoyed a nice salad and piece of chocolate cake. Great neighborhood spot and ideal for groups.
I believe that my ratings, noted above, speaks for me!
super cute italian restaurant with great casual vibes. BYOB with a $5 corking fee, and a great value!
Whenever I have friends in town, this is where I take them. It's a hit every single time.
Everything was great except for the 21 year old filled table next to us that decided to waterfall drink the rest of their wine bottles in 10 minutes causing one guy to collapse into our table. I am all for a good time, but this shouldn't be a college drinking dorm environment too. Usually always have a great time.
Our server was very attentive and told us about an amazing wine deal they had that we otherwise wouldn’t have know about!
a quiet place with excellent food, no rushing. very accommodating
Only people in there all night
legit such a great spot.. byob is so fun and food is delish!!!!! fab date night spot or for a fun night with friends! 1 million percent going back!
Amazing time, great service and incredible food!
Yes, my neighborhood go-to and the owner is great. Helps clean and serve and is very personable. They always honor reservations. The only con is that it gets loud when it is crowded, but usually more so when there are large groups.
Basically ignored by the server despite almost no one in the restaurant. Pizza was average at best and way expensive. I would not go back.
Food was average
Great service, great food, super affordable
We found this place quite by accident. We were on a bus trip to New York. We’re looking for a restaurant near to where we going. Found this place on open table made a reservation. When we arrived we were surprised by its size but the wait staff and service was excellent. Ordered some fantastic Italian food. It was some of the best we have eaten. When we get to New York again plan to go back.
Best pizza in NYC!
Overall, Great food and service!
a home style neighborhood place that has lots of menu options. our meals were excellent: baked ziti and lasagna. not so crowded, so conversation easy. atmosphere warm and relaxed. attentive service. would recommend.
Great food and awesome byob!
I would have been very happy with my food if it has been 10 dollars, but for almost 20 dollars it wasn't worth it. The ambiance is great but the food, sadly, is mediocre.
We were one of three total tables eating there but the food still took an hour to come out. The server forgot our drinks more than once. The food was decent, nothing outstanding. Loved the ambiance and atmosphere! Had a very relaxed open vibe.
Cute place, great food!
Always a great meal at this place!
The food was good, but the service has been better. It was busy, and there only seemed to be one server waiting on all tables. The food took much longer than expected, and we had trouble actually getting to talk to the server -- we would've ordered more wine, or potentially desserts, if only he came to our table.
Love it! Would go there all the time
The food portion for the spinach ravioli and ziti and broccoli were quite small. Did not care for the “white sauce”. There was no cream. It was just chicken broth. We did like the arugula salad and the chicken sorentino. Will not be returning
We arrived on-time for our Sunday evening reservation and then waited over an hour for our food. When we asked the owner of the restaurant (who was checking on tables) whether we could expect to be served soon, he said they were overwhelmed with a party of 10 at a large table in the center of the restaurant. There were only 2 other tables of diners in the restaurant. Our food then came out one entrée at a time so that we all began eating dinner at different times. The food was mediocre at best. Given that it was nearly 10pm and we had arrived at 7:30, we ate and left.
Service was extremely slow. There were no place settings or utensils when the food arrived, approximately one hour after we ordered our food.
Very unpleasant. We were the only ones in there for lunch at 1PM and the service was not good. The worst thing was that when we questioned the bill ($56 for a pizza, a coke, 2 salads and one burger) the server (owner) got furious and started yelling at us. I was shocked and saddened by this. The fellow must have some problems to treat customers like this.
Took my sister and her kids their for her birthday. As usual, the food was great and we were treated like family. Vinnie and his staff are simply the greatest! Check out Guac, his other restaurant.
This may have been a 4 rating eons ago because now it's a -4. Skip this place. Save your money and eat at home--I recommend a jar of Rao's sauce, which is a definite 5.
Pizza was great as was the service. Owner was personable and having a good time. Also, good glass of wine. Worth the trip.
The owners make you feel like you are at their home. The food tastes like their mom made it. The room is very warm & inviting with the fireplace as the focal point. We will definitely return again& again.
Classic Village decor. Love the fire place & old NY style bar. But the best is the home made Italian food & our friendly server Rocco. Classic Italian as well telling us life stories in a passionate & hilarious way, while multi tasking with the rest of the customers while getting our order perfect.
It's dinner & a show. We'll be back!
Very nice owner, great place. Been there 2 times, will be back
We went to Eleven B for a low key dinner before going out in the East Village. The food was excellent and the service was great! A few of us ordered the salads and were very impressed. We also loved that it is BYOB. Will definitely be returning.
If you are in the mood for red sauce Italian cooking then this East Village eatery may be an option. Pizza, pasta, salads -- simple, but nothing special here.
Walking in the restaurant, the smell of cooking was heavenly. The portions are great at an excellent price, will definitely return.
I don't review restaurants that frequently, but my experience here was so poor that I felt obligated to leave one. Management, if you are reading this, please use these comments constructively.
I came here on my birthday for a dinner with 3 friends. Father service we received was some of the worst I have ever experienced. It took more than 30 minutes after ordering for the waiter to bring us bread and another 30 minutes for our entrees. One hour between ordering and food? Absolutely unacceptable. Maybe if the restaurant was packed, but it was at maybe 50-75% of capacity.
The food itself was okay- not great, not horrible. I had to add quite a bit of seasoning to my chicken Marsala to give it flavor.
After finishing our meals, we sat waiting for the waiter for about 15 minutes. The last time he had even come near our table was when he dropped of our entrees. Finally, I got up to go to the bar to ask for our check. The man (I'm guessing it might be the owner?) didn't even seem phased that we had to get up to seek out our waiter. Another 5 minutes passes and finally our waiter comes by with the check. No apology or acknowledgment of the poor service. Utterly disappointing experience.
Ambiance is nice. Food is okay. But the service is awful.
Walked in around 7 o'clock and nobody else was there, though it did start to fill slightly as the night went on.
Service was good, though it should be as the only people there. The food was very average, nothing special. If you live in the East Village it might be worth stopping by, but don't make it a destination.
