Eleven at Reunion Resort Ratings and Reviews
Although the service was great, the food was not very tasty. I ordered the Salmon and the white bean casserole. Both were very salty. My husband ordered the fish and he mentioned that his food was very salty. The cream corn was watery.
We will not be going back.
The reservation was for 8pm. We arrived at 745pm and were told they were short staffed.
At 8 they told us to go to the bar.
At 815 they told us in a nasty tone to wait until they called for us.
At 830 we decided to leave, very disappointed.
It was a horrible experience for a person that made a reservation.
All the while there were many empty tables.
If u have no help, don't make reservations.
You charge enough for dinner (from previous visits), try to accommodate your customers accordingly......
We had a great Anniversary Dinner at Eleven. The server Janice was perfect. The Food was presented well, high quality, creative & excellent! The Chef was kind enough to make us a special appetizer & also a delicious Bread Pudding desert to top it all off! The Manager Joe was friendly - he stopped by twice to chat with us briefly & wish us a happy 18th anniversary. I must say every point of service was a perfect 10!
Nice steakhouse. Temperature was too cold (warmer outside)... Great view. The appetizers are "for the table", so meant to share as portions are huge. The garlic appetizer is the least interesting (why add cheese?, crackers should be replaced by a french baguette to schmear the garlic on it). Main dishes were very well cooked and presented. The wild boar had too much fat on it, and too little meat (choose younger wild boars...). Wine glasses are cleaned in the dishwasher, so the smell of the detergent overpowers the taste of the wine... They should be cleaned without detergent. Wine list is poor in Pinot Noirs and American wines... Service was superb. Desserts also huge (share them...). If you arrive too early, you'll have to give a CC to pay for drinks. I had to call the manager to have them add the drinks to the restaurant bill. Very noisy as patrons are low middle-class (Reunion?). Price/Value is good.
Open Table confirmed our reservation for 11/12/2017. It was our 39th wedding anniversary celebration. When we arrived at Eleven, there was a private wedding party being held there. First of all, it was a Sunday and we were informed Eleven is closed on Sundays - and only open to private parties (like a wedding). We were turned away and had to find another restaurant for our celebratory dinner. Open Table should take more care to avoid disappointing people in the future. We have no confidence in OT anymore.
Not worth the money, and despite the pictures on their website, the view of the fireworks from a "window table" is obstructed by a pool deck, outdoor seating, and a high balcony wall. Even standing at the balcony wall after eating, the fireworks were certainly not as represented on their site. Food was a mish-mash of experimental favors, and over cooking - tough lobster in the bisque, lamb that was nicely charred but almost rare inside, potatoes gratin that were crispy-charred on the surface and overcooked. Very loud with a party of forty golfers seated directly behind our special request window table on our anniversary. We will not go back.
Seated on the rooftop terrace taking in the wonderful views and Disney fireworks.
Food was delicious especially the calamari and the swordfish
Great wine list and great service
It’s not your everyday place and the price reflects that but it’s gray and we will be back
The server was useless. 2 of the 4 meals came out poorly cooked and had to be redone (40 minutes). Server concerns brought up with the manager brought about no concern or efforts to make things right.
What once was a regular place to go to now has become a place we could take or leave.
We booked for our girls reunion -6 of us- at Reunion, and we saw broadly advertised that the Magical Dining menu was extended to our date, but told with no real apology that the menu was no longer available. So we chose from the regular menu (no other option) and the meal was good, but the decor amplifies all noises - it was hard to hear from one end of the table to the other. In addition, the wine we selected was not available and as for getting and paying the check -SO slow! We literally had to chase it down with the manager and2 servers! I must say we found our server very pleasant but they need more staff for the class of establishment they promote. Overall, I’m not going back, despite the view.
Visited with the Magical Dining experience and was so happy we decided to try something new that we had never even heard of. The food choices we had were amazingly well put together (salmon dinner and Pork Loin dinner). The flavors and the sauces that went with these dishes were splendid!!! The view is very nice. If we would have booked later, it would have been nice to see the Disney fireworks off the side balcony they have. The service was very professional and timely to our needs. Thank you and it was well worth the drive from Lakeland to learn about this new gem of a spot!
View and potential for atmosphere - 5 stars!
Rooftop restaurant overlooking a pool with Disney fireworks in the distance.
Pricey meal was OK, served in a skillet so you couldn't avoid the sauce, making everything on the plate taste the same. We were celebrating our anniversary surrounded by children and people in casual dress talking loudly. The music and view were great. Maybe if they turned down the lights and turned up the music people would have hushed. Manager was not dressed well. They wished us a happy anniversary as we sat, then after our meal they brought our dessert on a plate that said Happy Anniversary in chocolate and gave us champagne! That made everything great!
Our anniversary and when we got there with our reservation, we had to wait 20mins to be seated in addition to trying to get the attention of our waitress. They seemed short staff or something and when the manager walked by, u could tell he knew there was something wrong with our table but ignored us. I will Never go back
