About

Elements Café in Haddon Heights offers tapas-style cuisine which is a traditional Spanish casual style providing small portions that you can order up one or two at a time until you have had your fill. This popular cuisine option is perfect if you enjoy variety. It is not strictly a way to enjoy Spanish flavors, however, as Elements Café also incorporates Asian, French and Mediterranean flavors.

If you prefer a 4-course dining experience, Elements Café offers a sunset dinner menu which begins with an appetizer choice, then proceeds with a salad course, main course and dessert course. Sunday supper is another opportunity with a new menu each week. The tapas menu is presented with three different price points with roughly a half-dozen options on each. The offerings at Elements Café varies to take advantage of local, organic, sustainable produce options when possible.

Food is always consistently good the Chef is very creative. Small plates make it possible to eat a wide variety without getting overly full or spending a fortune. Don't miss dessert - always good. Miss the peanut butter pot de creme though!

WE went to this place several times in the past. The food and service declined , so we stopped coming. We thought we would give it another
chance but we were disappoint[ed once again. Food is way over priced and not very tasty.

Once again, Elements Cafe hits one out of the park in my book. The 4 course Sunday Supper always impresses to a level that many of the "bigger guys" can't even touch. I can honestly say, I've been to this establishment many times throughout the years and never once had bad meal as they have all been Excellent!!!

we love this place! the chef is a genius! he always has such interesting combinations (fugi apple salad is one of my favorite salads EVER). we have been here several times and always enjoy it immensely. if it's on the menu, get the salted carmel popcorn ice-cream - it's AMAZING!

Although we agree the food was excellent or server was good however he forgot to offer us the rolls. we saw the other tables getting it we never did. Other than that we enjoyed our dinner, the portions were perfect we were not overly stuffed, we did not have to deal with left overs, however we eft feeling very satisfied.

My husband and I went here on Saturday night and were delighted by the food. This is a BYOB, so bring your favorite bottle and sit back for some scrumptious food.
The stand outs were...
Shrimp - delicious, very fresh tasting, and it had bacon. Who doesn't love bacon?
Burratta - OMG, my new favorite thing in the world. Get the grilled bread! The waiter said it doesn't normally come with, so be sure to ask for it.
Sirloin - Cooked perfectly and served with yummy grilled corn mixture.
Chicken - although as a whole, not the most interesting dish on the menu, but so very tender and juicy.
I hope more people find this place (or maybe it was just a fluke and everyone went down the shore). We will be back soon.

Quiet and quaint, dated decor - went for fathers day and had the 4 course menu. Not many choices for vegetarian (made decisions easy), but food was well prepared and expertly cooked. Wish there was more outside seating as the night was beautiful. But in the end I will come back for the full menu. Crustini was perfect, Asparagus bisque a little bland but added some salt and pepper and it was perfect, Gnocchi was a little hot when served but after it cooled down it was a perfect complement to the 1st 2 courses, and the bread pudding was tasty some of the bread (edges) was a little over done and tough, but not a big deal. Well done chef...

Creative and delicious from start to finish! If Elements were in the city, the prices would be double for this level of distinctive small-plates dining.
Seasonal vegetables from local farms are used to create dishes that satisfy and surprise. It is the surprise of what is on the menu that keeps bringing us back for more food adventures!

Everything about Elements is first rate! Chef Fred still has his "A" game. All of the food is prepared on-site. Of special note was the cinnamon ice cream atop the flourless chocolate cake. No review would be complete without mentioning the wonderful service.

My wife, daughter and I came to Elements for dinner. We ate off the "Sunset Menu". We found the appetizers, main course and desert excellent. The chef is masterful at preparation and presentation. We will certainly return again and also recommend the place to others.

We have been to Elements Cafe before, but this was our 1st time bringing family and going for a holiday meal. My husband & I took my Mother & her friend for Mother's Day Dinner. The menu and food was fabulous, as always. The service was impeccable, and very accommodating to a member of our group with some food restrictions. My only complaint was that it was a bit noisier in the restaurant than we have experienced before. I think it was a combination of families with kids (which is not usual for the times we usually go) and that the restaurant was very full. Overall a wonderful experience though! Highly recommend just for the fresh, locally sourced, tasty cuisine!

My wife and I have been dining at this local cafe for sometime. The menu is always varied and has something for everyone's taste. Not only is the food exceptional but the prices are reasonable. The chef has an interesting take on appetizers, entrees and desserts and is always willing to please. This is a famiy owned restaurant and the servers make the meal even more enjoyable. We recommend this Cafe to all who enjoy a good meal.

How my wife and I have missed this place being here for almost ten years, I do not know. Apps. were particularly flavorful and all plates were properly prepared. Portions were very generous for a restaurant billed as small plate/tapas.

My friend and I had dinner at Elements Cafe during South Jersey's restaurant week on March 20, 2014. My friend was celebrating her birthday, and picked this restaurant as one to try. This was the first time for both of us. We both started with lobster ravioli, she had the kale salad for her second course, and I had the seafood chowder. We both enjoyed the ravioli, and I loved the seafood chowder, but the kale salad got average reviews. I had the sirloin, and she had the scallops for our third course. We both loved the third entrees, and my steak was cooked perfectly. My friend ended with cheesecake for dessert and I took the blackberry sorbet home, and enjoyed it thoroughly. We plan to go again.

My friends and I went to Elements for a small bite to eat. We loved that it was a BYOB and close to our final destination. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The menu was short but everything we had was great! The portions are very small so if you're going with hopes of stuffing yourself, better go elsewhere. The menu is almost more of a tasting menu like you'd get during restaurant week. (That was how the waiter described the portions and it was accurate). The place filled up quickly so be sure to make your reservations. Overall, I'd definitely go back!

We always wanted to dine there and we were not disappointed. It was our first time at a Tapas restaurant. The food was great. Although not a fan of Prix Fixe menus this suited the bill for our first time there. The Seafood bisque was very good with plenty of actual seafood. We had the Lobster Entrée and the Lobster was done correctly. A surprise was the Wine list. Although we could have brought our own bottles from Auburn Road Winery the half bottle of Rose' was just enough for two glasses without breaking our wallet. Dessert was also a great ending to the meal. The tip off that it was going to be a good night was scoring a parking spot directly in front. Put this place on your list for that special night.

Seriously, you absolutely must try this place! If you're a foodie, even in the slightest, this place is for you. The menu is extremely reasonable and the food is delightful. Because the menu changes rather frequently we try to visit every month or so. Bring a great bottle of wine and prepare to indulge. It's the best small plate menu east of Philly.

It is BYOB but they have an agreement with a distributor so they can actually sell you bottles at the table...just in case you run out (we did & this came in handy MAJORLY). The food is absolutely amazing. A must go!!!

We had another visit to Elements Cafe this past Saturday evening.

The menu, as always, had an excellent variety of choices available in all categories: apps, soups, salads, entrees and deserts.

And the each of the food preparations was excellent...and small potions so we could enjoy many selections.

In our opinion, Elements is the best tapas-type restaurant in South Jersey..or the Philadelphia area!

We had a group of five and went for the special fixed price menu during Haddon Heights week. Among the five of us we tapped just about everything / choice on the menu ( there were three or four choices in each of the four courses). Rather than detail each dish I can summarize by saying the collective judgement was that this meal was an absolute steal given it's quality. If you haven't tried this place you're missing one of the best values in fine food in the greater Philadelphia area -- and it's a BYO!

This was our 2nd visit in the past 30 days , our first visit was very good. This time the food was average at best . There were only 3 couples in the restaurant, so service was not an issue. Short ribs were dry and stringy, salmon was dry an overcooked and mussles were salty. Needless to say we will not be returning.

We just love Elements Cafe. Don't let the simple and unassuming atmosphere fool you...the food is spectacular...always...every dish without exception...no kidding! We've brought many friends to Elements over the years - friends who are well-traveled and who consider themselves foodies. They, too, were wildly impressed with Chef Kellerman. The menu always features interesting dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The small plate approach is a welcome change as it allows you to sample a variety of items. This leaves you satisfied but not stuffed. And no matter what other temptations are offered for the dessert course, I can never pass-up the bread pudding. It's simply to die for!

We made reservations after reading reviews and seeing pictures on website. We really liked the concept but just fell short overall with food and service. Everything was in need of seasoning, portions were good size considering concept n price. We felt as though the employees were trying to get out as quick as possible, we made a reservation for 7:45 on we're out by 9:15 with 5 courses. The Bread pudding was the best thing. We liked the concept and location and will give it another shot hoping this was just a fluke.

I dined at Elements for the first time - the food is amazing...so delicious, decoratively plated, and unique offerings. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone. The inside is small and intimate. Doesn't look fancy from the exterior, but let the food speak for itself. There are 4 courses with a variety from each to choose from - portions aren't huge (entrees would not be enough for the avg. woman, let alone man ;) so plan to order something from each course. Service was friendly & perfectly timed as everything is cooked to order. Appetizers range from $6-9, soups $6, salads $6, entrees $13-14, desert $6

Hope this helps!!! Check out their website for specials 3 course for $15 tues/thurs 4:30 - 6 pm / Sundays $24 for 4 course meal

I've traveled a lot, and I've eaten at a lot of restaurants around the world. This is one of the best. The chef is talented, and I will eat anything that comes out of the kitchen (that's one of the highest complements I can pay to a restaurant in my mind). Everything is perfectly prepared, but there's something more here. There's a simplicity to the recipes in general, as all of the food is local and fresh. Perfect portions for a 3 course meal and dessert. Sundays are prix fixe, and always a good selection.

The food was not overly impressive. The presentation was small plates and nice. My entrée was not evenly cooked and a little on the dry side. The appetizers were tasty.
The waiter talked to much about nothing (tried to hard). The waiter did talk down to a elderly customer at another table educating her on vegetables. Also focused on the cheaper price of the menu in comparison.
Website says BYOB but they have a wine menu.
I felt the staff was overworked (rushing and short).
Based on the site and a recommendation I received who received it third party I was expecting nice things for my night out and it was ok.

We wont be going back again.

My husband & I tried this restaurant for Farm to Fork week. We loved the small plates with multiple courses so we could enjoy several dishes of fresh, locally sourced food. Our server was wonderful; the ambiance relaxed but intimate. We brought our own wine, as they advertise BYOB, but they do offer a small selection of wines.

Our meal was very good (5 courses for Farm to Fork Week) and the portions were perfect for us to enjoy without feeling stuffed. It was also well timed so we never felt rushed. However, we each had 1 dish that we felt didn't have enough seasoning, but taste is subjective so it could just be us.

Overall a wonderful new restaurant for us to visit. We look forward to visiting Elements Cafe again soon.
