Our experience with elements at the Sanctuary was simply delightful. From the pot stickers to our entrees of the nairagi tuna and the seabass. And for our wine drinkers, they have an awesome selection, that at our visit was offering half off of selected wines.
Highly recommend the visit!
Great restaurant where the staff goes out of it's way too ensure a terrific experience. They use your name when serving you, and made or anniversary very special.
The sea bass entree was the best I’ve had. They went to extra lengths to make sure my meal was completely gluten free and brought out a beautiful sorbet dessert for our anniversary.
Fantastic evening. Everything was perfect, only sorry it's taking us so long to visit. Quality of food, service and the view are hard to beat and will be definitely returning soon.
Really lovely location with amazing views. Not an extensive menu but something for everyone with high quality reasonably priced items. Only thing I did not like was the gratuaty being added for a party of four. I didn't notice the first time and ended up paying it twice plus 20% on the original gratuaty charge. Staff very attentive, we had Jen as our server and she was really nice and even remembered our names when we came back s few days later. Also want to shout out to the lovely guy who kept our water glasses filled.
Ambiance food and service were excellent. Mother Nature provided us with a spectacular lighting thunder rain and wind monsoon thru the glass windows.
Food, service, wine and ambiance is top-notch...I have been there a number of times and with the 50% off wine, it is a must do before September.
Absolutely wonderful. Had the bento box for lunch. Can’t wait to go back
Their French toast is one of the best I have ever had in my life! Also, they offer half-priced bottles of champagne on Sundays.
Last time we went to elements was a few years ago and we were a bit disappointed, so after being on our list of places we would go a few times a year, it fell off the list. We had friends in from out of town and wanted to take them somewhere unique, with a great view ( that could be enjoyed indoors, away from 112 degree heat). I thought we should try elements. I'm so glad we did. We had four fabulous entrees (daily special diver scallops, Marlin, salmon and sea bass). We each got to taste all four. And wow, everyone of the four were spectacular! Kudos. The service was impeccable. The views devine. Just an exceptional dinner. We will add elements back into our 'regular' list!
We are NEVER disappointed when we come to Elements for dinner. The food is fantastic. It is so flavorful and unique and we love it. the wine was super, the staff is polite and super nice. The ambiance is really great and the whole experience is just amazing. I can't say enough good things about it.
Great views and very invented and tasteful food. Service was impeccable. I will return to try new options as the menu changes.
Food was amazing as always. Saddly there was a coakrache in the ceiling and we couldn’t have desert. But service was impecable as always.
Occasion was a late lunch with my beautiful spouse. We has a great view in a nice little booth looking across to Mummy Mountain. We started with seasonal Element soup and the miso soup. The seasonal Element was one of the specials of the day - a creamy tomato bisque. The bisque was favorable, but a little too spicy and salty for our taste. The miso soup was salty, but carried it well. Very rich in flavor and full of shiitake mushrooms and fresh scallions. I ordered the Elements feature of the day - an authentic Cajun Oyster Po' Boy and my spouse ordered the steak frittes with béarnaise. The Po' Boy was good, albeit a little salty. The oysters were breaded and very crunchy, but had a little 'fishy' off-taste. The Cajun tartar sauce, that accompanied the Po' Boy, was great and not too spicy. It truly made the sandwich. The sandwich was coupled with some of the best homemade potato chips I have ever had! Marvelously crisp and rich in potato flavor; they should bag them! The steak frittes was excellent. Prepared medium (pink) as requested and not salty at all. It was served with several sauces (including the béarnaise sauce), but the additional sauces were not needed. The steak was smothered in a very rich merlot burgundy mushroom sauce. It was so good, I ate it with a spoon! The frittes (french fries) were absolutely fantastic! Crisp and crunchy on the outside and smooth and creamy on the inside. Clearly made from fresh potatoes and worth a plating of their own! For dessert, we tried a trio of the gelato and sorbet offerings - chocolate gelato, coconut sorbet and lemon sorbet. The lemon sorbet was unarguably the best. Slightly sweet and lemony tart, it was the perfect palate refresher. The chocolate gelato was creamy and smooth and very chocolaty. The coconut sorbet was mild and refreshing. Worthy of a second visit, Elements is already on our calendar.
Live in Arizona for over 25 years and this was our first time. The food, service and scenery were beyond our expectations. The food was locally sourced and beautifully presented. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helped with our selections. All we can say is we'll be back.
An absolutely incredible experience! Came here after a performance at the Arizona Broadway Theatre and everything was exceptional. From the food to the amazing views, it was a perfect find. I will definitely recommend Elements!
Always an amazing evening. The chefs and service staff go out of their way to accommodate our vegan diet and make it unique and memorable each time. We love Elements and can’t wait to visit again when next on Scottsdale and staying at Sanctuary. Thank you!!
One bonus of staying at The Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain is the fact that the hotel's restaurant is stellar at all meals with dinner no exception.
Everything is fresh. Don't miss the double pork chop!
Great food with lots of flavor! Each section of the menu, we tried something from. Cocktails and wine options were fantastic!
We went for our 34th wedding anniversary. I had been to Elements a few times for business lunches but my wife had never been, so we chose it for our dinner. It is a beautiful spot, well appointed, and very romantic. We found the menu a bit precious with more than just a skew toward Asian cuisine. We love Asian food, but felt that some of the sauces overwhelmed the main ingredient of the dishes. For example, I had the Kurobuta pork chop which was smothered in the 5 spice hoisin sauce, much to the pork's detriment. My wife had the scallop special which she enjoyed. We had the Oysters Rockefeller as a appetizer, which was very good. We were, however, underwhelmed by the peanut butter chocolate dessert, which was light on the ice cream and cloying. The waitstaff was pleasant and professional, if a little obsequious. If we return we will better research the menu beforehand.
We had a great time! Your wine sommelier (forgot her name) helped us select a great bottle of French wine at a great price. Overall the food and experience were excellent. Next time we come back when it's not so hot and sit outside to enjoy the view even more!
Off season should not mean off service, off kitchen.
The prices do not change, the expectation does not either.
Need to get back in step, both in the front of the house as well as the back. Signed a Disappointed Loyal Guest
The meals are delicious and creative, and the service and atmosphere are outstanding! Never had a "bad night" there, yet!
This place is amazing. It has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The view is so beautiful. Try to make your way there for sunset!
Companion & I dined at Elements for lunch. The view was spectacular & the food was more than delicious! Our server, Taylor, guided us through every aspect of our dining experience. He offered excellent wine suggestions & answered our many questions regarding the preparation of our menu selections. We ordered the seared tuna special & the fried chicken thighs. Both were outstanding! The desert, a key lime tart, was to die for! I had been to Elements several times in the past, but this visit was the best, due to our server's guidance & attention. Thank you, Taylor!
I took my husband to elements to celebrate his birthday. It was our first time there and we had a fantastic time. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere romantic, and the food was delicious. Our dinner reservation was made so that we saw the sunset through the mountains. After dinner, we took our remaining wine and went to their bar, The Jade, to hang out and relax. They had great live music, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend elements. We’ll be back for our next special occasion.
You cane come here to eat on a business lunch or just a quick stop to eat. Great food great service very classy on budget
Wonderful evening, food, view, wine (excellent sommelier, wish I could remember her name). We had a snifter of delicious Grand Marnier Quintessence to cap off the evening. We live down the street, and we love coming to this restaurant.
Amazing, plain and simple! From the food quality to the service to the atmosphere!
Love the sanctuary! Amazing food and service! Pricey but well worth it!
Our service was excellent and the food was something I thought of all day today. This is a one of a kind dining experience.
Great food and beautiful view!
It was Beautiful location with underwhelming food.
My boyfriend and I were on a weekend getaway visiting from Orange County and decided to splurge a little bit for this dinner. It was hands down my favorite fine dining experience. The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We had a table that looked right out into the desert sunset. My favorite item was the brussel sprouts and our waiter suggested the PB bomb for dessert that was so yum!
Food always disappoints. One of the prettiest dining rooms in Phoenix, but have never eaten here when one thing is not awful. Salmon over cooked and accompanying noodles a mushy, over-sauced mess. Eggplant summer rolls were sloppily executed, barely edible...in fact, I believe it to be perhaps the worst dish I have ever sampled at a fine dining restaurant. The pork belly Buddha buns were bomb; better than David Chang’s. Desserts were amazing as well.
Service was good, but seemed to lose interest half way through.
Overall very good
They failed to honor my table request
Nice, but pricey. Breakfast was a better experience than dinner here because we got outdoor seating.
Fantastic food & quality service loved it! Definitely will be back.
Bat was really loud. Views are beautiful
