Great food and beautiful view!
It was Beautiful location with underwhelming food.
My boyfriend and I were on a weekend getaway visiting from Orange County and decided to splurge a little bit for this dinner. It was hands down my favorite fine dining experience. The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We had a table that looked right out into the desert sunset. My favorite item was the brussel sprouts and our waiter suggested the PB bomb for dessert that was so yum!
Food always disappoints. One of the prettiest dining rooms in Phoenix, but have never eaten here when one thing is not awful. Salmon over cooked and accompanying noodles a mushy, over-sauced mess. Eggplant summer rolls were sloppily executed, barely edible...in fact, I believe it to be perhaps the worst dish I have ever sampled at a fine dining restaurant. The pork belly Buddha buns were bomb; better than David Chang’s. Desserts were amazing as well.
Service was good, but seemed to lose interest half way through.
Overall very good
They failed to honor my table request
Nice, but pricey. Breakfast was a better experience than dinner here because we got outdoor seating.
Fantastic food & quality service loved it! Definitely will be back.
Bat was really loud. Views are beautiful
I would give this restaurant 5 stars all round except for one thing. The menu was different to that shown on line, which is normally not a bad thing at all. It is great when a restaurant changes its menu according to the season and the whim of the chef.
In this case however the actual menu on the day was almost entirely Asian Fusion and that is not one of our favorite types of food. So we had difficulty in choosing a entree. But everything else was great, especially the service, the ambiance, the view, and the privacy of some of the tables (including the one we were seated at).
good food but limited menu. Service was a bit slow.
Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, top notch service and lovely atmosphere!
I've left a number of good review for Elements, as we have had many great meals over the past several years. I can honestly say, that the meal we had on the 4th of July was the most outstanding meal we have every had here. The current sea bass offering is fabulous, as was the marlin my wife had. WE also benefited from the fact they were doing half-price wine, so we could step up and have a really wonderful bottle of wine. Granted, eating here is not cheap, but I don't know of a better overall meal I have ever had, anywhere, even compared to some of the best I've had in Manhattan.
The food was exceptional - - but, because it was a holiday and the B team were waiting tables, the service was not up to snuff - - but the food is why I was there and I would return for the food.
The Pork Chop was amazing! If you eat meat this is a dish not to be missed! Our server, Ron, was very friendly and helpful...he made the experience special.
Fantastic food and service. Beautiful views
Terrific in all aspects. Trained servers who understand how to feature the chef’s skills — while they create the experience you’d like to have. They get that this is an exceptional view and venue — not the ordinary night out. Dining is an art form here.
My husband and I decided to try Elements for the first time for our 36th wedding anniversary because we love Beau MacMillan and we saw it reviewed on Check, Please! AZ. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It is now my new favorite restaurant! We were treated like royalty at this very sophisticated, yet comfortable restaurant. Our server C.J was incredibly kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He helped us with food choices and with wine, as well. When we struggled between which appetizer to get he graciously brought us a taste of the one we decided not to get just so we didn’t feel deprived. How nice is that!? The food simply blew us away - we had the shoshito peppers to start, split the short rib entree as an appetizer course (CJ brought us two oysters Rockefeller so we could at least have one!) and had miso salmon and the double cut pork chops for our entree. Being the foodies that we are, we didn’t stop there - we also ordered the rock shrimp rice side dish. EVERYTHING we ate exceeded expectations. I just had to order the peanut butter bomb for dessert and it was truly a sight to behold. After 1.5 bottles of fantastic wine and all of this food we literally rolled back to our room at the Sanctuary and slept the sleep of kings. We already have another reservation to go back in September with a request for CJ! Do not hesitate to go - the view alone is worth the visit!
Very high quality cuisine. The preparations are so thoughtful, beautiful and outstanding in taste. Don’t miss an opportunity to dine at Elements. They even have 1/2 price wine days- take advantage of that option! The service is outstanding. Very friendly and enjoyable staff. Not stuffy at all. The views of Mummy mountain at sunset are wonderful. Great experience every single time.
Food was incredible and the views were perfect. Highly recommend.
The view is amazing. Our server was stellar. I was disappointed in the limited offerings for lunch. The steak frites was stellar. My daughter loved the Bahn ami hotdog, adding extra jalapeño to the veggies. I was disappointed in the salmon & shrimp pot stickers. Sauce had no flavor. The bento boxes were clever but a lot of food.
Definitely recommend for the view and service. The food taste appears hit and miss.
GREAT service, perfect food, and amazing view. THANKS Sarah!
Spectacular setting and great views of Camelback Mountain while enjoying great wine and the company of a loved one or group of friends. Service was attentive and respectful. Lunch is the bargain and one can dine on many similar items that are also offered on the dinner menu at a reduced price. Soup of the day was cauliflower which was silky and smooth. Frittata special needs work and chicken sandwich was very tasty and served piping hot. Element “potato chips” are well known.
We had a great experience here! Easy to book and half price wine bottles were a plus. What really made our anniversary special was the attentiveness we got from Stephanie, who was the hostess up front! From our greeting, to seating us, to helping us capture the perfect photo momentum of our special night.. Stephanie was our girl! So kudos to her for going above and beyond for us on our special night.
Wonderful! We had lunch facing the beautiful view, with both of us ordering the miso butter bento box. I don't have words to describe how perfectly this fish was prepared; just over-the-top unami flavor. The box also had interesting greens with a smoky flavor with mushroom, a sharp counterpoint to the smooth salmon. It also came with a cucumber salad and brown rice.
Great service. A terrific experience.
Very nice with an amazing view. Kale and Cesar salad was very good. Strong flavors and delicious. I have the traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon and potato. Potatoes are very crispy and tender. Today I had the granola and Greek yogurt with a drizzle of their homemade vanilla simple syrup. It was outstanding. Looking forward to a nice dinner there this week as well. All staff is very professional and accommodating.
Arrived about an hour before sunset, and had a cocktail in the bar. Then went to a beautiful dinner in an intimate booth. The food was amazing. Tuna tartare and sushito peppers were great starters and the sea bass and shrimp and sticky rice were killer. Every time I’ve been here it’s been top shelf.
This is really a seasonal resteraunt. The menu changes significantly during summer months. They actually had only one meat dish as an entre . It's priced at $68 and had way to much fat for my particular taste, for the price. My wife ordered same steak and it to had to much fat as well.
Service was great and so are the views just go between Oct- May when there is a more complete menu.
Husband and wife lunch date, celebrating late fathers day. The place was very nice and we enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're going for a special occasion! The food was absolutely perfect, there was great ambiance, and the servers were wonderful.
They were having a half off bottles of wine special for a summer promotion which was convenient. The food was delicious and the view was great. We had the Korean Short Ribs and the edamame.
food was delicious, pancakes large& tasty
pricey meals. views are spectacular
it makes for a special time
This is a favorite of my husband and mine. It was a little loud with the holiday but that was to be expected. Service is always fantastic and food is wonderful
Amazing dining experience! The staff was so genuine and helpful. Our server Sarah was so kind and seemed to know exactly what we needed at the right time. I was there with a cousin I had not seen for over 20 years, and it was a special reunion. The food was incredible, I had the vegan tofu black bean scramble, she had the fruit plate, and then had the PB Bomb for dessert. The PB Bomb was the BEST thing I have ever had! Wow! The booth we had looked over the Camelback mountains. It was the perfect atmosphere, quiet enough to catch up and really share. Loved Elements and cannot wait to go there again when I am in AZ!!
Ron our waiter was fabulous as well as Memii waiter assistant!! Food was delicious and amazing sunset
Hit and miss. Great web staff! They had this spring roll dish that was terrible Raw onion, sauce tasted like it came out of a bottle Trying to hard on this dish, a really poor main course option
The "banana split" dessert was just terrible. No bananas, we dont get it, hard as a rock meringue, had 4 elements and nothing went together. Literally dont get that dessert. Dont try to be ultra cool and call something a banana split and then have no banana.
The salmon and Korean short ribs were fantastic
Everything was lovely. Our server gave us great recommendations. I tried the Tea Brined Chicken Thighs that my server recommended. They were so tender and flavorful with a very light but crisp crust. The rest of the plate was great too. My husband went with the special. It was made with Beef Tenderloin that was also prepared to perfection and seemed like quality beef. It also was flavored well. Dessert was spectacular too. We had a great time!
Food, service and ambiance were excellent. My husband and I were in town for just two nights and had the good fortune to discover Elements. We enjoyed it so much we stopped back by the next day for a great breakfast. Lovely views of Paradise Valley also.
