We had a wonderful meal at Elements during a recent stay in Scottsdale area. Our server started the excellent experience--he was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu/food--provided great service. Our night view overlooking the pool & with a distant view of the mountains/twinkling Scottsdale lights was really nice out on the deck area & so peaceful on this particular night. The hoisin braised short ribs especially were divine--so yummy! We also loved the calamari appetizer. Great wine list too. Overall, a lovely dining experience!

This is a Never Miss option! No matter what the occasion or the holiday Elements delivers. Amazing sunset and one of the best - if not the best - dining experience in the Valley. Even if you think you don't like oysters try the Rockefeller.

I would recommend the pork belly. I don't think I have tasted better in any place I have been. It would be a must to try if you are there. The main entree was impressive and worth every penny spent along with the impeccable wine selection. Our waiter was extremely good and well educated on the menu and options available, never rushed us and overall made the entire experience one I would highly recommend to anyone.

Everything was fantastic! Food is amazing, cocktails are diverse and delish. Ask for the Cantaloupe Cocktail that's not on the menu. Service was great. Really cute restaurant. If it's chilly & you want to sit outside they'll give you blankets. Loved the decor.

I have been to the resteraunt twice with my wife. Both times service and food was amazing. I would recommend foie gras, Opa and porkbelly. It was all delicious. Our waiter C.J. and team was on point. Would totally ask for them again on our next visit.

The food is good but view is amazing. My husband and I shared the beef carpaccio, thinly sliced raw beef, very tender with a light dressing. We also shared the hoisin braised short ribs, their signature dish, and it also was good on the sweeter side I didn't really notice the wasabi. The forbidden rice was very different, not really like rice but tasty. Our rind ordered the tuna tartare which they enjoyed along with he lobster carbonara I tasted it and it also was on the sweet side a heavy dish but did have a nice amount of chopped up lobster. For dessert we opted for the roasted apple tart which was okay, t was flaky but just not worth the calories. Ron our server was wonderful, friendly, attentive and he didn't hover. It is a little more on the pricey side but is definitely a romantic setting. It would be great to make a good impression on a date or for an anniversary.

Elements is a wonderful restaurant. We go at least twice whenever we are in Scottsdale. It's a beautifully designed restaurant amid gorgeous scenery. There are several patio/balconies in addition to the indoor dining room. We requested a specific patio in our OpenTable reservation. We were NOT seated on the patio we requested and we were very disappointed as it was our son's 20th birthday celebration. The hostess said she hadn't noticed my request on our reservation. I said that I would note this in my OpenTable review. Very soon thereafter, the manager came to our table and offered us a table on the balcony we requested, saying that the reservation (made months in advance) clearly stated my request. We appreciated the manager's responsiveness. We will keep coming back to Elements -- it's one of our family's favorite gathering spots in the shadow of the Praying Monk.

This was not our first time to Elements but each time it is better and better. The entire family enjoyed everything that was ordered. The wine list while pricey is excellent. Great signature cocktails and the views are some of the best around. Everyone had something different from Pork Chops, Steak, Trout,Salmon and Pasta, it was all wonderful.
Elements is a 45 minute drive but well worth it!

We dine here several times a year and this year we brought a friend to the Thanksgiving dinner. Our food was outstanding, beautifully presented.i always eat the vegetarian entree and am never disappointed. From appetizers to desserts, thank you to the culinary genius of the staff. And thank you to our servers who did a wonderful job. Happy holidays, everyone!

Superb Thanksgiving dinner from a set menu. With a half a dozen appetizer and entrée selections, it was a challenging task to pick just one of each. Different selections by each of us delivered nine excellent dishes. That is also not to discount a delicious Honey-crisp apple/radish salad and the pictured cinnamon cheesecake dessert. Beautiful setting, fabulous meal.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. Appetizers and main courses were delicious. While my wife's "perfect" Manhattans and my Martini were excellent, they were served in tiny glasses and we're expensive (even for "regular sized" cocktails).

Beautiful view, excellent service, and the food is off the charts delicious. We shared the tuna tartare, old bay poached shrimp and the beef carpaccio. We then sipped our wine and shared the most perfectly cooked foie gras. Heaven..... my duck was the best I have ever eaten and my husband’s swordfish was perfection as well. This is our fifth time enjoying the restaurant and it definitely rivals anything a New York restaurant has to offer. Bon Appetit!

Loved the restaurant . Food was tasty and well plated. The wine list was good but we think it could be expanded to include a few more labels. Dessert, Deconstructed S’mores, was creative yet still retained the fun of a s’more. Yum!!

The waiter was inattentive "stopping by" occasionally and generally disinterested. Meanwhile the waiter serving around us was vigilant and engaged. This has happened in the past so it's constant turnover, poor training, or weak talent - maybe all of the above.

The food is excellent and combined with the views the poor service is offset.

Having dined at some of the finest restaurants across United States I can say that elements fell short in the food category. The state out for the evening was the appetizers the shrimp was delectable and you oysters Rockefeller absolutely divine however when he came to the main entrées my Seabass was very understated compared to my wife’s lobster carbonara . It seem like it was a muddled mess of ingredients with nothing there to really stand out among the crowd of the various different items meant to highlight an Asian inspired Fusion dish. It was it as though the combination was just completely lost.

With the entrées I found the presentation to be lacking .

They had a very extensive wine list. My wife had a glass of Riesling and I had a glass of cab which was very good .

Overall the service was good however it was noticeable that other table to receiving more attention from additional waitstaff and others servicing their tables.

The dessert we chose was the peanut butter bomb. It was a very good mix of gelato pita butter mousse covered in chocolate nuts and toffee popcorn . Give me a beautiful presentation and it was a really well balanced and well thought out dessert.

Overall for dinner costing over $300 for two people I would’ve expected more especially on the main entrées and a little bit more attention to service as a whole .

Overall the experience was mediocre considering that you have a celebrity chefs name like Bo McMillan behind elements.

My experience at Morimotos, Ramsey’s, and several Michael Simon restaurants make Elements pale in comparison to those chefs.

Second time at elements and second time staying at the sanctuary hotel. We were sat in one of the booths - which provide a view before dark. However, they are tiny and we were squashed in there (and we are pretty small).

I was hesitant to order the calamari starter - unfortunately even in a good restaurant it came breaded, but I was assured it was amazing. It was typical of pub style calamari and the sauce was very rich and over powering. The pork belly was better but again very over powering sauces. For main I went with he chicken (hoping it would be a little simpler). Very nicely cooked, but swimming in gravy. The main courses also arrived immediately after finishing starters - not great timing.

Having had breakfast lunch and dinner here over 3 days - I would say the evening menu is lacking the most, day time is much better - great. The evening menu lacks finesse with too many flavours.
