Great evening with friends. Gary was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. We all enjoyed our food choices and were blessed with a gorgeous sunset beforehand. Every visit here has been 5-star!
Incredible atmosphere, food and service.
Birthday celebration. Overall the restaurant was very welcoming and had a beautiful setting. The service was very good albeit we had to remind staff on an order or added water a couple times. The meals were presented nicely and the menu is broad and unique. Lobster Bucatini was very good to excellent with the pasta perfectly done with good flavor but the lobster a bit blah. Potatoes crusted the grouper and it was presented well and was tasty. The duck was perfectly done as requested. Dessert was very good, presented nicely. Wines and drinks are good and fairly priced for a high end restaurant.
Overall everything was very good and the atmosphere could carry it into the excellent category. I’d say the servers work in teams and that was the weakest link. While not bad, we’ve experienced better without feeling overwhelmed. The balance of service was a bit off.
The above may be a bit picky but for a pricey meal I would expect perfection.
Great food and view. Waiter was average at best. Carded us after we had already had several drinks at the bar and generally treated us like we were kids despite a several hundred dollar bill.
An exceptional experience! It is a restaurant everyone needs to at to their “must go to” list
Another truly amazing experience at elements. The food, service and ambiance all combine for a spectacular experience.
Food, service, location, seating—all outstanding.
The wait staff was superior! Will be returning soon!
The view from the restaurant is fantastic, so is the food and the service!
Very disappointing. We chose elements for our 40th anniversary dinner. The place has a lot of hype and honestly the setting, room and waitstaff were great. Food was very disappointing especially for the price. We dined on an over-salted appetizer, bland salmon and mushy lobster (not fresh?)
Absolutely beautiful view, amazing food and service!
Views, service, food, ambiance at Elements was above 5 stars! What a great experience
Fantastic experience it was my 2nd time with my girlfriend and 1st time for my parents and we all enjoyed it and had a blast we will be back again.
Very special place
Lovely. Service outstanding. Food is a little on the heavier side for me but still good.
Excellent venue, great food, good service
Elements never disappoints. It is a rare combination of unique ambience, exquisite food and high level service. Our daughter and son in law to be announced their engagement at dinner.
This is a very positive review. It was earned 1000 percent by the staff at Elements, not because it was their finest hour but because the true character of the restaurant shone through so clearly. This review is about why I think Elements is the best high-end restaurant in the Valley — hands down — and why Sanctuary may we’ll be the best hotel.
We had lunch at Elements on New Years Day. We hit the seam between a hyperactive breakfast and the transition to lunch. Let’s say that the kitchen was struggling, which is very unlike them. The wait for food was more than an hour. It arrived piecemeal. And you could tell that the staff — kitchen and service — were about to die with embarrassment. But they handled it so well that we really didn’t think to complain — we asked once for an update. That’s all.
Imagine our amazement when the waiter and the GM walked out and announced that they were comping not just our meals but everyone else’s too. No excuses, and totally proactive. In my mind, they set the bar for integrity and customer experience in a way that few others have.
Massive kudos to the entire team at Elements. We eat there often and particularly on special occasions. But now we know why the experience has been so terrific for so many years. Their commitment to their customers is marrow deep. Highly recommended. Deserving of a Michelin star, maybe two!
Though I wasn't able to score a room at the Sanctuary Spa, I did score a table (one of the best ones i.e table with a view) at elements and it did not disappoint!!! I started off with the tuna tartare (tuna was buttery/fresh) and charred edamme both were a hit!! For the entree the korean bbq style beef cheek (so tender I was able to cut it with a fork) and salmon (perfectly cooked) were both delicious!! Our servers (Gary & M (unable to remember her first name) were attentive, professional and informative about any questions we may have had. Overall, elements is a MUST when in Scottsdale!! #beauisthebestchef
We sat outside. December is cold in Arizona believe it or not, but heaters by the table and a warm blanket took care of the cold. The nighttime views of Camelback and Mummy Mountains were great. We had an affordable bottle of Pinot - the wine list is deep. Food was awesome. Service was impeccable. We don't regularly do fine dining except for celebrations (it was an anniversary dinner) but have been to most of the other terrific Phoenix-area restaurants and this is possibly my favorite one, and along with Orange Sky is the best place for an intimate, romantic dinner.
OVERALL THIS RESTAURANT CONTINUES TO BE ONE OF OUR FAVORITES. VIEW SPECIAL & REALLY GREAT A SUNSET.
Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views of the valley. Service was great too. Highly recommend for special occasion or date night.
I‘ve enjoyed Elements many times over the years. It’s been fun to see the dining room and lounge evolve into something new. The time before Iast was for my birthday and Chef Beau made a special effort to sign my menu and send out a nice dessert. This visit he was very busy, but my server took my friend and I back into the kitchen to say hello. It’s always a treat to see and chat with Chef Beau. Such a kind and very welcoming person. Full of energy and passion for his profession. Someday I hope to make it to Nirvana! I live in California, but will always have found memories in Arizona. And especially at Elements restaurant.
Late xmas eve dinner. Excellent experience as always. Have been coming on Xmas eve for 10 years.
I made reservations for my wife’s birthday as we really enjoyed our experience the prior year.
This year the experience was the opposite of our prior experience!
Living in the area, we’ve enjoyed this restaurant before. Time for a change of plans.
Very nice ambiance and great food.
Best meal I have ever had! Four of us came for Christmas Eve dinner. Awesome waiter! Nice touch with the warm sourdough slices to each of us and the to die for cookies after dinner! I had melt in your mouth Chilean Sea Bass in the most incredible sauce! Hubby had Lobster Bucatini and my daughter had the filet which she said was delicious as well as the potato gratin. My son in law had Korean Beef cheeks. He too was amazed! Kudos to the chef!
We ate at Elements on Christmas Eve and it was as wonderful as it always is. The service, as always, was phenomenal and the food fantastic!
Amazing views. Great food. Awesome service. Highly recommend!
Always quite good, but last night was even a notch better, fabulous appetizers (charred octopus and sashimi, both with taste bud pleasing sauces) delicious rich mushroom soup, great salmon with miso, lobster bucatini, and noteworthy interesting desserts, plus the usual top notch service
Excellent food. The waiter didn't bring our son's beer until halfway through the meal. Other than that everything was great, especially the blue nosed bass entree.
Elements was the perfect dining experience to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Both the food and ambiance were outstanding!
Very pleasant. Corner table with nice view of room. Very attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. Food was very nice.
Great place for our annual holiday dinner. A bit costly but you get what you pay for. We will be back again for sure.
Sanctuary over delivered....I mean, the views are unmatched. The food...was in every aspect, just delicious, special, thought about, no detail was left without culinary brilliance. While I can’t speak for every server, our server Joey was nothing less than fabulous, he made it a memorable and special time for our family (including 2 young girls) and we were all smiling so big. The value!! We don’t mind dropping money on a meal, this meal, I felt, far overdelivered on what we got versus what we paid. We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and despite so many options around the Valley, and the fact that we live 40 minutes away, we are very sure we are coming back!
We went for lunch and the place is beautiful. We sat outside and that was lovely with the views... service was excellent. We will be back.
This last time coming to enjoys our night and a really good meal right before Christmas was a big nightmare for us and as many times as we come a year we were just blown away on this night. We just rushed to get our check and walked away.
Just to think we were here what 4/5 days before. Our bill is always between $250 to $400 sometimes with tip and sometimes without but we always tip really well and leaving we tip $20 for each guy. They have even told us we tip them way more then anyone else. $20 just for opening my door and $20 to get my car. Pretty nice tip I would say.
So this time and just like every other time as many times as we come we always know what we want so there is never having to go back and fourth to our table to kitchen to table to bar.
BUT for some reason we didn't get our two starters ( small plates ) this time. I also didn't get my drink I was waiting forever for. A guy who was the soup guy not our waiter just came and started pouring our soup. My husband and I just looked at each other like , what is going on. We didn't even order 2 soups we just wanted one to share but we still got two.
We then told the guy and he was even surprised as much as we were.
Still no drink for me, I'm still waiting.
At that time we just said forget it. We had tickets to be somewhere else after our awesome meal we for some reason just didn't get and knew we would be late or just not make it so we paid our bill and left.
My drink I was waiting forever for came with our bill. Nice right and still had to pay for it.
Yeah it sucked and I cried cause I thought it was going to be another very beautiful night there like it alwas has been.
Not sure what happened here. :-(

Wonderful birthday dinner for my wife and I!
