Food no bueno, awkward service. However, the actual space is beautiful and quite interesting. Would be great for groups and large parties if the food was edible.

The restaurant El'Eat SHOULD NOT BE on this website. I trust that any restaurant on this website is at least a place we might want to eat at. It is not a place for any of your patrons.

This was the WORST restaurant experience we've ever had! I had read your reviews, looked at the menu and when we arrived at this cavernous restaurant, there were no other diners. We waited at the front and no one came for 5 minutes. People were playing with speakers etc. Finally someone came and when they sat us, they gave us only one menu for the two of us and mentioned it had just changed. It was now a Russian restaurant. There was not 1 item from the online menu (either from Open Table or their website).

Our waiter was new so every time we asked a question, he had to walk way back into the kitchen to ask for an answer.

We were not thrilled with our menu choices as we had already decided on a few options from the website the day before. I know this can happen but it was described an an "American" restaurant, not Russian, complete with borscht.

I then asked about the size of the whole snapper. "No snapper, no salmon today. No fish deliveries". They were out of the wine I chose by the glass but when I was not happy with the taste of one double the price, they suddenly found the one I had requested.

It went from bad to worse. We decided on a few apps and would leave after that. The first was a Russian potato salad with winter truffles - a strange combo but we ordered it. A big mound of potato salad doused with a ton of truffle oil (a bad combo) was brought. As it only mentioned vegetables on the menu, my husband thought there was more in it. We asked and discovered there was turkey. One bite was enough. It was revolting. We paid for the drinks and left.

In the entire hour!! we were there, no one else entered the place.

The reviews here should be taken down as they do not represent the current eatery and are misleading for anyone looking for a decent place to eat!

Read good reviews of this place so we wanted to give it a try. Maybe because we went on a Sunday night in the off-season, the place was deserted. We were the only diners. That said, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the seafood stew special and it was fantastic -- a little like a bouillabaisse with a thicker sauce. The seafood was plentiful and properly cooked. Bread was very good as well. My husband had the salmon tagine, which was also very good. It's beautiful inside, prices are not outrageous, and food excellent. It seems to be one of those locations that is home to a revolving door of restaurants. I'm hoping this one can stay!

Very enjoyable meal, generous portions, very flavorful. Good service. It is a nice restaurant for upgraded service in this neighborhood.
My husband loved his pork shank, I thought the seafood stew was a generous portion and very good. Very good appetizers and desserts.
Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Surprising to find this new restaurant on the 163 street causeway. Food was excellent. Service equally fantastic. Don't be afraid to try it out, especially now during the Miami Spice promotion.

We went to this restaurant after reading many reviews. Effectively, the Miami Spice menu was worthy and the food we ordered was excellent, huge portions and a cup of good wine was included. The two only things to complain about were, first the ambiance, well décor and a very large restaurant/lounge with just few people in attendance and in the other hand the service was not so great. At the beginning we were seated immediately by the hostess and by the moment just six table were occupied but we wait and wait for more than fifteen minutes until we called the attention for service and until then an educated lady apologized and took care of us the rest of the night.

My wife,I, and a friend decided to try this new restaurant and ordered from the Miami Spice menu. My crab cake appetizer was actually filled with deliciously large chunks of crab, The main course, a seafood stew, was equally fabulous with fish, mussels, lobster and calimari on a wonderfully seasoned red stew base. Desert consisted of goat cheese cake topped with raspberry sorbet. Totally wonderful experience and we will definitely be back for more.

We came here for Miami Spice and everything was great. The decor is nice, the service was good and the food was even better. I got the pork shank and there was soo much meat on that thing! It was cooked perfectly! I was surprised to not see this place packed! We went on a Friday night, and there was only maybe 7-8 tables occupied. Needless to say, don't pass this place up! You wouldn't think of it to be as nice as it was because it's in an odd spot, but it's a gem.

Beautiful restaurant. Food is delicious. Service needs training. I ordered short ribs and got fish. I ordered grits and got mashed potatoes. I ordered one of each of the two desserts and got the same for both of us. No music, like walking into a church.

The food was well-prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious! The surroundings were comforting and visually appealing. Loved this place!

A friend recommended this place to us at first I was apprehensive since at the same location a number of restaurant had failed in the past. The restaurant has kept most of the decor from the previous restaurant but there are changes and for the better. The food was outstanding, the portions are very generous and the service is excellent. We truly enjoyed having a good quality dinner which I was not expecting. The restaurant manager comes to your table two or three times just to make sure everything is fine.

Very nice restaurant near Sunny Isles Beach. Hopefully it will survive, since the last two restaurants in the area did not. The food is excellent. The wait staff was very pleasant and made sure that everything was satisfactory. There were more long tables in the main dining area than smaller for two or four people. We were seated side by side which I don't particularly like. I enjoy looking directly at the person that I am dining with. Could use a little background music. Our very lovely wait person told us that they are considering having live music in the future. A pianist would add greatly to a nice evening out with good food. By the way we ordered the Miami Spice Dinner Menu, and it was great.

I came here for Miami Spice. I frequent the other restaurants next door and always passed El' eat not knowing what it was. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the sautéed garlic shrimp over a biscuit appetizer and the short ribs for dinner. Both 2 very memorable dishes and although I'd like to enjoy the rest of the menu, it's going to be hard to not get my new 2 favs WHEN I return.

Perfect asparagus, great crab cakes, fantastic dessert. The restaurant changed my mood after a complicated day and made me truly happy. Will be back as soon as I am back to Sunny Isles Beach area.
