   I wanted to really like Elberta's because their menu looked so yummy. However, on my first experience things were just a bit too stressful. The waitress took over 30 minutes to bring out drinks and they came out one at a time. Also, our food was delivered to another table and then we were told that there was no more of what we ordered left. By the time we did get food, it was lukewarm at best. If they could improve their service I might be willing to try their food again. The deviled eggs weren't so bad at all.

   We chose to go to this location before a concert at the Barclay's. I told the waitess a few times that I had a concert to go to and the time I had to leave. She was unfortunatly the only waitress in the whole place and it took a long time for anything to come; the check, the wine or the food. She also over charged us on the bill and it took time to fix it. We did not leave at the time we would have liked to.

   Oysters and shrimp appetizers were fantastic, as were the snapper and steak entrees. Wonderful cocktail selection as well! Friendly, relaxed service and ambience, a nice break from some Brooklyn restaurants which often try too hard.

   I love Elberta but this was my first time having the birthday dinner. Although, they don't have the birthday menu for the weekends, I was still accommodated. My hostess wasn't overbearing and overall very welcoming💚

   Most memorable is the attention from the staff. The deviled eggs and truffle fries have me dreaming of Elberta when I'm not there. I love the unique decor in unique spaces. I won't tell all. Be surprised.

   I've been to Elberta's several times and have been in love from the very first time! The food is delicious. I came here for Black Restaurant Month and it was wonderful. Had the Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, Chicken and Dumplings, and Chocolate Cake! All delicious! Brunch is wonderful. I normally get the Chicken and Waffles, and Macaroni & Cheese! It's a great little spot in the neighborhood, the decor is really nice and simple, and the staff is wonderful!

   Thanks to black restaurant week I was able to enjoy a fabulous dinner and meet the owner Erwin. My friends and I truly enjoyed ourselves I will definitely go again--the lamb chops were delicious.

   We were a party of 7 and were well attended by the wait staff. The menu was enticing but was poorly executed by the kitchen/chef at every turn. Steak w Bernaise came out with no Bernaise. When the deficiency was pointed out the sauce came out but was a mystery sauce, not Bernaise. Every plate had an issue. Hope the food improves and the place succeeds as it has a great vibe and location.

    The food was amazing! The service was amazing! The drinks were amazing! I will definitely revisit and have already recommended a few times.
